There is hardly a person who will remain indifferent to condensed milk.
This is such a familiar taste of childhood, which is a favorite delicacy of our children.
Have you often thought about making condensed milk at home using recipes from natural products.
But they believed that this was a very complex and lengthy technological process.
What if this can be done in 15 minutes and using the best recipes?
Homemade condensed milk in a slow cooker recipe Chocolate
For lovers of everything unusual, “chocolate” condensed milk is exactly the delicacy that children and adults will enjoy equally.
To create a pleasant chocolate taste, you need to add a little cocoa to the dish. It will not only brighten the taste of condensed milk, but also adjust its color, making the shade richly caramel.
Ingredients
- Cocoa – 1 tbsp. l.;
- Cow's milk (fat content 3.2%) – 1 l;
- Sugar – 500 g;
- Water – 75 g.
How to make condensed milk in a slow cooker: preparation steps
Stage 1: prepare sugar syrup
Mix water and sugar in a multicooker pan. Turn on the “Frying” mode for about 10 minutes.
Bring the syrup to a boil, then simmer for about 2 minutes. Do not forget to stir the dish all this time.
Stage 2: mix syrup with milk
Pour the cow's milk into the boiled syrup in a thin stream, stir the resulting mass until smooth.
Stage 3: cook condensed milk
Using a fine sieve, pour cocoa into the milk product. Mix the ingredients thoroughly and start cooking the condensed milk in the “Stew” mode. You need to cook for no more than 30 minutes. Don't forget to stir the product from time to time.
It is better to store the resulting delicacy in a glass container, and most importantly, in the refrigerator. This will help you not only store condensed milk for a long time, but will also help improve its taste and consistency (i.e. the delicacy will become even thicker).
Treat for children
This is both condensed milk and sandwich paste. This dish is very tasty. You will need to pour 200 ml of milk into the multicooker bowl and add the same amount of powdered sugar. Now you need to crumble 50 g of butter and set the “Stew” mode for 10 minutes. After boiling, mix the contents of the multicooker and cook in the same mode for another 20 minutes. What happens next depends only on the child’s preferences. The longer you cook the mixture, the darker it will turn out. You can add nuts, cocoa, and chocolate to it. This will only make it tastier.
Cooking boiled condensed milk in water
This method has been familiar to many since childhood. But they still use it. The thing is that it does not require special devices and equipment. In order to prepare boiled condensed milk in water, you will need a can of condensed milk, a pan of water, a stove and 2-4 hours of waiting.
Pour water into a saucepan and immerse the can of condensed milk in it so that the water significantly covers the can. Then you should turn on the burner at full power and place the pan there. When the water boils, turn down the heat
It is important to remember how long to cook condensed milk in a jar in this way. Minimum cooking time – 2 hours
But it’s worth waiting longer for the thickness and richness of the product. In addition, you should periodically add hot water. If there is not enough water in the pan, the jar may explode. After the condensed milk is cooked, it is necessary to cool it to room temperature. It is not recommended to cool a cold jar in water; sudden changes in temperature may cause the jar to burst. After the condensed milk has cooled, it can be served.
How to cook real homemade condensed milk in a slow cooker
Modern life is full of paradoxes. We strive to eat healthy, but finding organic foods is becoming increasingly difficult.
And what the food industry offers is sometimes even harmful to eat. Many people today bake their own bread, make yogurt and kefir. What can we say about baking! Homemade pies and cakes are now in demand again.
One of the essential confectionery ingredients is condensed milk. What manufacturers don’t stuff into treasured jars!
Plant ingredients, extraneous fats, flavorings - and this is not a complete list. It’s clear why more and more housewives are asking the question: how to cook condensed milk at home? Fortunately, boiled condensed milk in a slow cooker is not difficult to prepare and does not take much time.
Let's dot all the i's: it will not be possible to get the same product as one prepared in an industrial environment.
If only because at factories it is customary to cook condensed milk in autoclaves, but at home there is no such equipment. But preparing delicious condensed milk with the most delicate consistency and great creamy taste is entirely within your power.
Interestingly, there is no list of ingredients as such in this recipe. You will need regular milk, milk powder and sugar.
All components are taken in identical parts. You determine the specific quantity yourself. Would you like a half-liter jar of condensed milk?
Take 250 g of each product. Do you need larger volumes? Accordingly, you will have to cook a mass of more ingredients.
Many people notice that the same recipe can produce a slightly different product each time. First of all, it depends on the milk.
From full-fat homemade milk, condensed milk is thick and silky. Store-bought milk is the key to a thinner, lighter-colored consistency. The languishing time is no less important, but more on that below.
Ingredients:
Milk | — 250 gr. |
Powdered milk | — 250 gr. |
Sugar | — 250 gr. |
Step 1
Mix dry ingredients: sugar and milk powder. Do not combine all the components at once, otherwise lumps may appear in the mixture. First, mix the dry ingredients well, and only then proceed to the next step.
Please note: to get the “same” product, milk powder must be of the highest quality. A vegetable substitute will not work: it will spoil the taste.
If it is difficult to obtain natural powdered milk, it can be replaced with dry cream or baby food.
Step 2
Pour in the milk in a thin stream, continuing to vigorously stir the mixture with a whisk. Once all the milk is in the bowl, whisk the mixture until the sugar dissolves. Pour the prepared mixture into the multicooker bowl.
Step 3
You can cook condensed milk in several ways: bring to a boil on the “Soup” program, then change the course to “Baking”, or completely on the “Stew” mode.
Whichever option you choose, watch your milk carefully. When it boils, the mixture must be stirred, otherwise the condensed milk will burn.
And then do not forget to constantly stir the contents of the bowl. How long should you cook condensed milk? It depends on the desired consistency. For a light liquid product, ten minutes is enough. To make condensed milk thick, you need to cook it for about half an hour after boiling.
Step 4
After finishing the selected mode, the condensed milk is ready for use. But as a finishing touch, we suggest you beat it with a blender.
The texture will be silkier and more uniform, and if there are any lumps left in the mixture, the combine knives will break them up. You don’t even have to cool the milky sweetness: transfer it directly from the multicooker to the food processor bowl.
Step 5
Beat the mixture at maximum speed. A minute - and everything is ready. Cool the condensed milk directly in the bowl, then pour into a container. It is best to store this product in a glass jar. Place the container in the refrigerator - after a couple of hours its contents will thicken.
Remember: the final consistency of the condensed milk will be determined only after being in the refrigerator. Therefore, if you think that the mass in the multicooker is too liquid, do not rush to get upset. Most likely, it will thicken after cooling.
The resulting delicacy can be eaten as a snack with tea. It can also be used as a component of creams, dough or filling for cakes. Any confectionery product prepared with natural condensed milk becomes not only tastier, but also many times healthier than desserts made from a store-bought equivalent.

How to choose condensed milk for boiling?
Particular attention should be paid to the process of choosing milk, otherwise all efforts may be in vain. The enduring popularity of the product has caused some manufacturers to try to save money on its production. Sometimes, even in a store, you can buy a real fake, which, after heat treatment in a slow cooker or microwave, turns into an unpleasant-tasting mixture that is also dangerous to health.
To prevent this from happening, when buying condensed milk you should pay attention to the following points:
- Product Name. For cooking, and simply consuming it in its original form, it is better to take “condensed milk with sugar”, adding the word “whole” is allowed. All other variations indicate that the product is not prepared according to standards and most likely contains flavorings or herbal ingredients.
- Production standard marking. The best option is GOST marking. There is also TU marking, but it indicates the presence of plant components in significant quantities, which in this case is not welcome.
- Shelf life of milk. If it exceeds one year, then the presence of preservatives is guaranteed. This in itself is bad; it is also not clear how the mass will react to boiling in a microwave, slow cooker, or some other type of processing.
- Marking on the tin lid. It’s good if it is not applied, but knocked out, and from the inside. The first place in the inscription should be the letter M and four numbers. The third and fourth should be 76, which indicates a high quality product.
- Quality of packaging. The presence of chips, signs of deformation or cracks is unacceptable. There is no need to focus on the cost of the product.
A high price does not always indicate the required level of quality, but a low price does not always indicate that the seller, for some reason, is trying to quickly get rid of the product. The main thing is that the condensed milk meets all the requirements listed above.
Condensed milk at home in a slow cooker
Let's start with the traditional method of preparing condensed milk. We need only two ingredients - milk and granulated sugar. And the multicooker will do most of the work for us.
Compound:
- 2 liters of milk;
- 700 g granulated sugar.
Advice! Choose fresh homemade milk. If this is not possible, buy a pasteurized product with a high percentage of fat.
Preparation:
- Pour the milk into the multicooker container.
- Add granulated sugar and stir.
- Activate the “Steam” option and select the product type – “Vegetables”.
- Without closing the lid, wait until the milk mixture boils. Stir it periodically.
- When the milk comes to a boil, switch the multicooker to the “Stew” program.
- Let’s set the product type to “Meat”. You can use the “Multi-cook” mode by setting the temperature threshold to 100°.
- Cook for 1 hour 30 minutes. The mixture needs to be stirred periodically!
- During this time, the milk mixture will boil down. Let's cool it down.
- Condensed milk is ready!
Is it possible to cook condensed milk or a creamy recipe?
You can make everyone’s favorite delicacy at home not only according to the classic scheme. There are also more original recipes that make wonderful condensed milk for the whole family.
Condensed milk with butter in a slow cooker
For example, the classic cooking technology can be slightly modified by adding butter to the dish.
Just 40-50 g of butter, 375 ml of whole milk and 500 g of powdered sugar - and you get excellent creamy condensed milk, which needs to be cooked for 20 minutes on the “Stew” mode.
Just remember to pre-mix the milk with soft butter and boil it on the “Soup” setting for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
If you prepare baby condensed milk with butter, then the amount of butter and sugar should be reduced by 2 times.
- To prevent condensed milk from curdling during cooking, put a little soda in it (literally on the tip of a knife). If you have enough milk, you won't notice the soda taste.
- It is not necessary to use only cow's milk for cooking. Perfect for cooking and steamed goat. If you cook vegan condensed milk, you can use coconut milk.
Is it possible to cook condensed milk in a pressure cooker?
You can cook the product not only in a multicooker, but also in a multicooker-pressure cooker or simply in a pressure cooker. Cooking is very similar to the technology of cooking in a regular multicooker.
Only the cooking time will differ. It all depends on the power and functionality of the pressure cooker/multi-cooker, as well as on the result you want to get.

How to cook condensed milk in a can in a slow cooker
Let's tell you using the Panasonic multicooker as an example. Place the condensed milk into the bowl so that the surface of the jar is completely covered with water. First, place a silicone mat or cloth napkin on the bottom of the bowl. Set the multicooker to the “Stew” mode.
The time depends on how thick the “toffee” should be. To ensure that the condensed milk is not very thick, the simmering time should take approximately 2 hours.
For a thicker product, the time can be increased to 3 hours. After the required time has passed, the multicooker must be opened and the water allowed to cool naturally.
Now you know how to cook condensed milk correctly, be sure to try different options to choose the most suitable for yourself and your family.
In this photo, condensed milk was cooked in a slow cooker for 2 hours:

(261/366) August 19, condensed milk was patented
Today there are 3 semi-official dates: vest day, photography day and condensed milk day. I don’t want to repeat myself on Photographer’s Day, because on January 7 I already talked about the birthday of photography, it’s just that different dates for the same events were chosen for the birthday and for the day of photography. I don't know anything about the vest. That's why I drew condensed milk. It was invented in the USA approximately simultaneously with the invention of a bunch of condensed and freeze-dried products. Our first condensed milk production plant appeared only 25 years later.

Ingredients
Granulated sugar | — 250 gr. |
Milk | - 250 ml. |
Whole milk powder | — 250 gr. |
The calorie content in 100 grams of the finished product will be 208 calories - slightly lower than what is usually indicated in store-bought condensed milk.
The ratio of proteins, fats and carbohydrates will be as follows: 2 grams of protein, 2 grams of fat, and as much as 45 grams of carbohydrates.
It is not for nothing that the recipe draws attention to the fact that you need to use whole milk powder, because it is what gives the recognizable taste to condensed milk. As a last resort, it is allowed to use dry cream or baby formula instead of powdered milk.
Very often milk curdles during the cooking process. To ensure that your condensed milk in a multicooker turns out delicious, add a little less than a third of a teaspoon of soda to the mixture in the multibowl and stir thoroughly. This is a mini-recipe for ideal condensed milk.
Step 1
In a deep bowl, mix granulated sugar and milk powder. Then pour in regular milk in small portions, thoroughly kneading the condensed milk base.
Then, using a mixer or blender, beat the mixture until the sugar crystals are completely dissolved.
Step 2
Pour the prepared base into the bowl of the multicooker and close the lid. Select the “Stew” mode and cook for 60 minutes.
Note: after 15 minutes the milk will begin to boil
To avoid its escape from the multicooker, carefully monitor the process - it is important to open the lid in time and stir the contents of the bowl, and more than once.
Step 3
At the end of cooking, the condensed milk will seem quite liquid to you. Don’t be afraid - just let it cool completely in the slow cooker, and then, pour it into containers of a suitable size, put it in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours until completely cooled.
Milk Girl Cake - recipe in a frying pan
Prepare the dough according to the classic recipe with the addition of 100 g. kefir or yogurt. Next, grease the pan with oil and remove excess with a paper towel. Heat the frying pan and spoon out the dough, close the lid and bake until done, then turn and brown the other side without closing the lid. However, the cakes come out slightly rubbery, like pancakes, although porous.
If you want smaller, crumbly ones, then this recipe is for you, but you will have to tinker a little with rolling out. So the Milk Girl cake in a frying pan has the same taste and texture as a traditional one in the oven - tender, airy, soaked. I suggest coating it with semolina custard; it resembles ice cream, but is more economical - we can do without expensive cream and curd cheese.
For the cakes:
- Condensed milk - 1 can
- Eggs C1 – 1 piece
- Premium flour - 400-450 gr
- Baking powder - 1 tsp.
Beat the egg into the bowl, pour in the condensed milk and mix thoroughly with a whisk. Sift the flour and baking powder and gradually add it to the liquid mixture until a soft dough forms. To keep the cakes soft, add up to 450 grams of flour; too much can make the sponge cake rough and hard. The dough should come away from your hands; if it is still sticky, add a little flour. Divide into 6-7 parts, taking into account the diameter of your frying pan.
Roll out the dough into a thin layer with a thickness of at least 3-4 mm. Then cut out a circle of the desired diameter using a plate or lid with sharp edges.
In a preheated frying pan, bake the cakes for 1-2 minutes on both sides. Be sure to close the lid. When bubbles appear on the surface, turn to the other side using a spatula. We bake all the cakes.
Semolina cream in oil:
- Milk – 500 ml
- Granulated sugar – 100 gr
- Semolina – 60 g
- Oil drain. — 200 gr
- Vanillin – 1 sachet
- Lemon juice/citric acid
Pour milk into a saucepan, add semolina, sugar and put on fire. Stirring, bring to a boil and cook for 2-3 minutes, like semolina porridge. Add a bag of vanilla sugar and lemon juice from half a lemon or citric acid on the tip of a knife. Blend with an immersion blender or simply mix with a spoon.
The semolina in the cream is imperceptible, and the lemon will add sourness, which will eliminate the cloying. Cover the porridge end-to-end with cling film and let cool completely.
Beat the softened butter a little with a mixer until lightly white and increased in volume. Then add the custard semolina base two or three spoons at a time, stirring briefly with a mixer each time after each added portion. Avoid beating for a long time, otherwise the mass will separate.
Evening cream:
- Condensed milk – 380 gr
- Soft butter 82.5% – 250 g
Both ingredients should be at approximately the same room temperature. Beat soft butter at low speed for 2 minutes. Next, gradually pour in the condensed milk and increase the speed, continuing for another 4-5 minutes.
The finished cream holds its shape well, is very tasty, although quite sweet.
Assemble the cake by spreading a drop of cream on a plate or base to fix it, glue the sponge cake, and spread the cream on the semolina. Repeat with all the cakes. Coat the sides and top with condensed milk cream and plant the roses.

Caramel condensed milk in a slow cooker
Homemade condensed milk in a slow cooker will appeal to everyone at home. Its amazing taste and delicate consistency will not leave indifferent even those who previously did not like condensed milk. The main thing is to keep an eye on your family so that they don’t eat all the treats at once. As the saying goes, “a little bit of a good thing.”
What is condensed milk made from:
- fresh cow's milk - 2 cups;
- granulated sugar – 2 cups;
- dry natural milk – 2 cups;
- vanilla sugar – 15 gr.
To achieve good consistency and taste of condensed milk, milk is taken with a fat content of at least 3%; the ideal milk fat content is 5%.
How to cook condensed milk in a slow cooker:
- To prepare the delicacy, you need to take fresh whole homemade milk.
- In a separate saucepan, combine granulated sugar and milk powder.
- Combine dry ingredients with milk and mix well. Whisk the mixture thoroughly until the sugar is completely dissolved in the milk.
- Pour the mixture into the multicooker container and turn on the “Soup” mode for 10 minutes. This time will be enough to wait until the milk starts to boil.
- Mix the contents with a spatula. If you stir the milk frequently, you can avoid the appearance of lumps.
- After the signal, stir the milk again, and again activate the multicooker in the “Stew” mode for 20 minutes.
- Wait until the mixture begins to thicken. After 20 minutes, pour the hot milk into the blender bowl and beat for 5 minutes.
- When the condensed milk reaches the desired consistency, it is poured into a container and left until it cools completely.
- Once homemade condensed milk has cooled completely, its consistency will become even denser.
To prevent the condensed milk from running away, try to choose low-temperature multicooker programs.
Condensed milk according to Dukan
Condensed milk for those with a sweet tooth losing weight at home, according to Dukan, is when “you really want to, but you can’t”
The cooking principle is almost the same as in regular condensed milk, with the exception of one important ingredient - sugar. Instead, a sweetener is used in dietary condensed milk
To prepare such condensed milk you need:
- powdered milk (without fat) – 200 g;
- whole milk (with a minimum amount of fat) – 200 g;
- “Fitparad”, sugar substitute – 8-10 tablets.
How to cook step by step:
- Crush sugar substitute tablets in a mortar to a powder. Mix with dry milk.
- Heat liquid milk to a temperature of 50-60°C and, stirring well, gradually add it to the dry mixture so that there are no lumps.
- Place this mixture in a water bath and, stirring occasionally, cook the condensed milk for 40-60 minutes.
- When the condensed milk thickens, remove from the water bath and cool.
Boiled condensed milk in a slow cooker recipe and recommendations
As noted above, the state of condensed milk - its color and thickness - is directly affected by the cooking time. Therefore, if you want to prepare traditional caramel “varenka”, as it was called in Soviet times, you need to stretch the procedure to 50-60 minutes. if powdered milk is used, and up to 2-3 hours if you work only with a liquid, rustic product. But not only this moment plays a role in the preparation of boiled condensed milk.
If, when cooking ordinary, liquid condensed milk, the foam on its surface will only add charm, then the thick caramel substance should already be completely homogeneous and smooth, so bubbles are unacceptable. Do you want to avoid having to endlessly catch them while standing at the multicooker for 1-2 hours? Treat the walls of the multicooker bowl with butter: even a very thin layer is enough to keep the milk warm and boiling evenly.
As for the products used to create boiled condensed milk, they are almost no different from those used to prepare classic sweets. The only thing is that it is recommended to use sugar in the form of sand or resort to brown cane sugar: it is larger and more difficult to dissolve, resulting in a more dense structure of the product. The proportional ratio of milk and sugar also changes slightly - it is recommended to take a little more of the latter than usual.
Classic condensed milk in a slow cooker
Dishes prepared at home will always be tastier and healthier than store-bought ones. This product also includes homemade condensed milk. It is very simple to prepare universal condensed milk in a slow cooker, and its taste will be much better than store-bought. To prepare condensed milk in a slow cooker, only natural ingredients are used without adding vegetable fats.
What you need to prepare 200 gr. condensed milk:
- milk – 250 ml;
- sugar – 250 gr;
- powdered milk – 250 gr.
How to cook condensed milk in a slow cooker:
- Pour a glass of sugar into a separate spacious container, mix it with dry milk and gradually pour in a glass of milk.
- Mix the contents thoroughly and beat with a whisk (you can use a blender).
- When the sugar is completely dissolved in the milk, pour the whipped mixture into the multicooker bowl and activate the “Stew” mode for 60 minutes.
- After 15 minutes, the milk will begin to boil - this moment cannot be missed. It is necessary to open the lid and mix the contents.
- During the cooking process, the milk must be stirred periodically.
In order for condensed milk in a slow cooker to get a real creamy taste, you need to use only natural milk powder. A substitute will not work! If it is not possible to cook condensed milk with natural milk powder, then you can use dry cream or baby formula.
- Often, when preparing condensed milk, milk curdles. To prevent this from happening, you can add 1/3 tsp to the mixture. soda and mix the contents well. The taste of soda will not be felt in such an amount of liquid.
- When the condensed milk is cooked, its consistency will be rare. Leave it to cool completely in the pan, and then pour it into a glass container and close it tightly with a lid. Place the cooled condensed milk in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Preparation:
- In the “Stew” or “Soup” mode, the milk is heated and brought to a boil, after which it continues to boil away with the lid open. Taking into account the specified volume, this process will take 40-50 minutes.
- Sugar is poured into hot milk, stirred until its crystals are completely dissolved (or partially dissolved if brown sugar is used), after which the “Porridge” mode is selected on the multicooker. The lid does not close, another 5-10 minutes. The mixture needs to be stirred, after which you can only monitor it occasionally. Cooking time – 1.5-2 hours.
- With regard to working with a multicooker, it is always difficult to give unambiguous recommendations on time and modes, since each representative of this kitchen appliance differs not only in power, but also in functionality. For example, if the Redmond multicooker is on the “Stew” mode for 8-10 minutes. after boiling it will simply retain heat, allowing the liquid to boil down evenly with the lid open, but with a Lentell multicooker you will have to do it every 2-3 minutes. turn off the mode, because the condensed milk will begin to boil again and again.
There can be many such unpredictable cases, so when preparing condensed milk in a slow cooker, be sure to keep an eye on it without leaving a single step. Only after a certain technology has been tested, and it turns out that it works correctly for your multicooker, can you stop holding such serious control.
Homemade boiled condensed milk in a slow cooker
If you do not want to use store-bought condensed milk as a basis, you can prepare it yourself, starting from the first stage. Homemade boiled condensed milk is prepared in the same way as regular one. The only difference is that the ingredients will have to be simmered in a slow cooker a little longer until they acquire the characteristic caramel color. We suggest preparing homemade boiled condensed milk in the simplest way. Even a beginner in the culinary field can do this recipe.
What ingredients are needed to prepare homemade boiled condensed milk in a slow cooker:
- milk – 1 l;
- soda - a small pinch;
- sugar – 500 gr.
Note. It is better to choose homemade milk or with a higher percentage of fat content. This way the condensed milk will cook faster and have a richer taste.
Prepare homemade boiled condensed milk in a slow cooker:
- In a multicooker bowl, combine milk, sugar and soda.
- Install the “Steam” program.
- Bring the liquid to a boil, stirring constantly with a whisk.
- As soon as the milk boils, turn off the multicooker so that the contents of the bowl do not “run away”.
- When the milk foam has settled, set the “Stew” mode on the multicooker’s program panel.
- Cook condensed milk for 3 hours.
- After the beep, open the multicooker and stir the condensed milk.
- Set the device to the “Steam” mode.
- Boil the condensed milk with the lid open until the desired consistency and desired shade are obtained (approximately 30-50 minutes).
Once ready, transfer the finished homemade boiled condensed milk into the prepared container and wait to cool. Screw the lid on the cooled product and put it in the refrigerator for several hours.
Preparing condensed milk without milk powder
Without powdered milk, condensed milk turns out even more natural, especially if you choose not a store-bought product with a low fat content (2.5-3.2%), but country-made, fresh milk. The last point must be checked before you start preparing condensed milk: pour 100 ml of milk into a small bowl, bring to a boil, and then turn off the heat. Fresh milk will not have lumps on the surface, and in this case it can be used for condensed milk. If the consistency of the liquid changes dramatically when heated, it is useless to try to make condensed milk from such milk: this will only be a transfer of products.
