For example, I adore it; lately I’ve been cooking very often. I recently tried a great recipe with pickled cucumbers and really liked it. What can I say? I wasn’t the only one who liked it, after a couple of minutes there wasn’t even a crumb left from the baked goods. I prepare a very simple dough with dry yeast, and use the most common filling: cheese and sausage, but today I added cucumbers, how delicious it is, if anyone doubts whether it’s worth cooking or not, then I can say there’s no need to think twice. Get ready, it's worth it.
Fragrant pastries attract all family members to the kitchen. The taste and appearance are excellent. I just cold-pickled the cucumbers and they turned out like barrel cucumbers. I made it small, it’s very convenient to cut into circles.
Today I will reveal all the cooking secrets and share my favorite and quick dough recipe. I am sure that once you try this dish, you will cook it constantly until you get tired of it.
How to make Cuban pizza?
Preheat the oven to 220 degrees with the pizza stone. Meanwhile, combine mustard and cream in a small bowl. Prepare the remaining ingredients for easy pizza assembly.
Roll out the dough. Remove the pizza stone from the oven and place the dough on it. Spread mustard sauce over it. Top with half a cup of Swiss cheese and a cup of mozzarella. Place ham, pickles, roasted peppers and onions on top. Place the remaining half cup of Swiss cheese and a cup of mozzarella on top. Bake at 220 degrees for 13-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and browned.
Pizza with sausage, pickles and cheese
The idea of baking always comes unexpectedly, and as a rule, we use the standard products that we have in the refrigerator (sausage and cheese). You can add anything you like: corn, olives, pineapple, tomato, today I have pickles.
I'll work up an appetite for you. Just look at how delicious my pizza turned out. I like thin dough, lots of filling, and a double portion of cheese. And if you sprinkle some herbs on top, it will be even tastier.
Pizza products:
- 150-200 grams of sausage
- 2-3 pcs. pickled cucumbers
- 100-150 grams of hard cheese
- 2-3 tbsp. spoons of pizza sauce

Products for the test:
- 100 ml. warm water
- 1 teaspoon dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 2 tbsp. spoons of vegetable oil
- about 1.5 cups 250 gram flour
First, prepare the dough, and in the meantime, while the dough is “rising,” you can start preparing additional products.
Preparing the dough is very simple, we need to mix 100 grams of warm water with sugar, dry yeast, salt, and vegetable oil, add sifted flour.
I knead the dough directly in the bowl, knead it with my hands, we need it to come away from our hands. The result was a dough ball. I cover it with a towel and put it in a warm place for 15 minutes. To make it rise faster, in 12-13 minutes, I pour warm water into the pan, and then place the bowl in it.
It is better to sift the flour for yeast dough once or twice, this way we will saturate it with oxygen, the dough will be fluffy and airy.
The quick dough is ready in 15 minutes; it needs to be “settled” and you can make pizza from it. As you can see, anyone can cook it, even the most novice cook, a novice in cooking, and what can I say, even a teenager.
Let's prepare the filling, for this I use salami sausage, you can use boiled milk. Cut into cubes or strips. I take hard, Russian cheese and grate it on a large grater. You can add extra mozzarella cheese. I took small cucumbers and cut them into half-centimeter circles.
I also prepared homemade ketchup, you can use store-bought, I try to make homemade, it’s natural and very tasty. When all the products are prepared, you can get down to business. You are convinced that preparing them is not difficult, and very quickly.
The diameter of my pizza is 25 cm. We need to roll out the dough to the required diameter, make small sides so that the sauce and cheese do not leak out during baking. You can stretch the dough with your hands or roll it out with a rolling pin.
Lubricate with tomato sauce. If you like, you can take mayonnaise, mix mayonnaise and ketchup, and grease the dough.
I don’t know about anyone, but it’s much more convenient for me to cut off a piece of parchment and place it on a baking sheet than to wash the baking sheet. You do as you feel comfortable.
Spread ketchup evenly over the entire surface of the dough. I don't use mayonnaise. I lay out pieces of sausage and pickled cucumbers. I am giving you a detailed description and step-by-step photos.

Now we need to cover everything with hard cheese, as you can see in the photo, I have small sides, so nothing will fall out or spill out.
You can cut the mozzarella and grate hard cheese, or use only hard cheese. Take the cheese that you like best, but it is important that it melts and does not become crusty and burn. The cheese product usually burns.
Now I place everything on a baking sheet and put it in the preheated oven to bake. It is better to turn on the oven in advance so that it warms up; the dough should not be placed in a cold oven.
I bake for 10-15 minutes in an oven preheated to 220 degrees. It cooks very quickly, the main thing is to make sure that your pizza does not burn, especially if the oven is an old model.
This is the beauty I got. The aroma is simply wonderful, it smells throughout the whole house. I assure you, you will not regret if you prepare this pastry.
I cut the pastry and serve it to the table. It tastes best when it is hot, when the cheese is melted, it is extremely tasty, but when it is cold it is no less tasty. True, it sold out right away, everyone liked it, and the children ordered more, but as it turned out, it wasn’t enough.
The aroma is such that it is impossible to resist. And you yourself saw in the photo how simple everything is.
A few more photos for you, I walked around and started taking pictures. I sprinkled fresh herbs on top, chopped parsley very finely, and garnished with a sprig of parsley on top. You can take cilantro, basil, dill.
Greens add not only taste, but also aroma. You can also sprinkle the pizza with spices when you layer the ingredients, top with the spices and then the hard cheese.
I like to use Italian or Provencal herbs, you can use any other spices and dried herbs.
The dough is not quite thin, but not thick either, I love it, crispy on the bottom and soft on the inside, baked well, the dough itself and the filling are very tasty.
Step-by-step preparation
Dough
- Mix 20 g of yeast with 1 tbsp. l. sugar and sift 100 g of flour a little at a time. Add 375 ml of water, add 1 teaspoon of salt, mix thoroughly. Periodically add the remaining flour again and stir until smooth.
- Add 2 tbsp to the mixture. l. vegetable oil and knead soft dough. When the mass becomes thick and homogeneous, place it in a bag or wrap it in cling film and let it rest.
Filling
- First of all, chop 200 g of sausage into strips. Fry 300 g of champignons. Pour 1 tbsp into the pan. l. vegetable oil and heat it up. Then pour the champignons on it and fry until almost done. Salt and pepper to taste. The main thing is not to overdo it with salt, as there are many ingredients in the recipe that will add a sufficient amount of salt to the pizza.
- Take 200 g of cucumbers and cut into strips in the same way as sausage.
Pizza
After 30 minutes, you can take out the dough and start the fun part.
- Divide the dough into two equal parts, the second can be put in the refrigerator and used later. We grease the table with oil so that our dough does not stick. Roll out the dough into a rectangular layer.
- You won’t be able to roll out the yeast dough into a full layer; it will roll off all the time, so we transfer the dough to a baking sheet and distribute the pizza with our hands. To avoid making sides, do not smear ketchup along the edges of the dough, just leave a visual indent. If the dough rolls towards the center, let it sit for a moment and try again. Grease the dough with 3 tbsp. l. ketchup. If you don't have homemade ketchup, don't worry, you can also use store-bought ketchup. Distribute ketchup evenly throughout the dough.
- Lay out the sausage. Distribute the sausage pieces evenly over the entire area. Next in line are the cucumbers; we also spread them evenly throughout the dough.
- Using the same technology we lay out the champignons.
- Lastly, grate 150 g of cheese and distribute it so that it covers the entire filling.
- Place the pizza in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
After the time has passed, we take out our aromatic and beautiful pizza, wait until it cools down, cut it into portions with special culinary scissors and serve.
How to make pizza with pickles and mushrooms
If you love mushrooms, you can add fried or pickled mushrooms, although this version does not include sausage. I replaced it with chicken, as chicken goes well with mushrooms.
Ingredients for making homemade dough:
- 2 teaspoons yeast
- 0.5 teaspoon sugar
- 2 spoons of milk + 160 ml.
- 1 spoon of vegetable oil

If you want to treat yourself to an interesting taste, try a combination of fresh tomatoes and pickled cucumbers, complemented by sausage and cheese. This pastry turns out extraordinary.
Ingredients:
- Pizza dough (you can buy ready-made, or prepare according to one of the recipes in the article)
- 1 tomato
- 1-2 pickled cucumbers
- 200 grams of sausage
- 150 grams of hard cheese
- ketchup (sauce), mayonnaise, spices to taste

- dough – 450-500 g;
- three medium-sized pickles;
- several varieties of sausage (boiled, Krakow, ham, etc.) with a total weight of about 300 g;
- one large onion;
- cheese (cream, sour cream, Kostroma, Gouda - that is, any not too hard) - 200 g;
- vegetable oil – 2 tbsp;
- adjika, mayonnaise, ketchup - to taste.
Preparation:
Grease the baking sheet with vegetable (olive or sunflower) oil, making sure to coat the sides as well. Roll out the dough directly on the baking sheet, making small edges along the edges.
Then apply a thin layer of ketchup to the base, not forgetting the edges. The next ingredient, adjika, is spread on top of the ketchup. Its quantity depends on how spicy the resulting pizza should be.
Now add the filling - sausage, thinly sliced (not grated!) cucumbers and onions. Add mayonnaise (optional) and generously sprinkle the pizza with cheese.
Place the baking sheet in the oven (it should be preheated to 180-220 degrees). After 20 minutes, you need to check the pizza: if the bottom is already quite brown and the cheese has melted, then it’s ready! You should not wait for the appetizing brown-golden cheese crust to appear, as the dough may burn.
Vegetable pizza
This is a very tasty and low-calorie dish, which is especially pleasant to prepare in the summer, when ground cucumbers and tomatoes have the most pronounced taste. The best dough option in this case is the classic water pizza dough. But to save time, you can also buy store-bought pizza crust.
A delicious pizza with cucumbers and tomatoes is prepared in literally 10 minutes and to create it you will need:
- pizza base (1 piece) or dough (0.5 kg);
- hard cheese – about 50 g;
- three medium cucumbers;
- three large tomatoes;
- olive oil – 2-3 tbsp;
- salt - to taste.

Pizza with pickles and chicken
The taste of this dish is extremely interesting due to the chicken fillet present in the filling. For lovers of a richer meat taste, in this recipe, instead of chicken fillet, you can use smoked chicken leg - a little less healthy, but it’s simply impossible to tear yourself away from the pizza!
For the test you will need:
- 15 g butter;
- 200 g flour;
- 1 tsp Sahara;
- 70 ml. milk;
- one raw egg;
- 1 tsp dry yeast;
- ½ tsp. salt.
For the filling we take:
- 100 g mozzarella or Adyghe cheese;
- 40 g olive mayonnaise;
- 30 g tomato paste;
- 50 g pitted olives;
- a tablespoon of greens (parsley, dill);
- 150 g chicken fillet;
- 60 g pickled cucumbers;
- 30 g bell pepper;
- 100 g onions;
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil;
- ground black pepper - to taste.
Preparation:
First of all, we prepare the dough: we dilute yeast and two tablespoons of flour in warm milk with sugar. Cover with a lid, put in a warm place and wait for 15 minutes until fermentation begins. Add salt, egg and melted butter to the risen dough. Mix with a whisk and add the remaining flour. Knead the dough and place in a warm place for 45-60 minutes.
We wash the fillet, dry it with a paper towel, cut it into small cubes, pepper, salt and fry them for about 1 minute (but only on one side, without turning them over!) in a hot frying pan with sunflower or olive oil. After that, pour them into a bowl and try to cool them as quickly as possible, for example, pouring them from one bowl to another and back. As a result of such manipulations, the meat will remain very juicy, which is especially important when preparing pizza.
Roll out the risen dough not too thin and grease it with tomato paste diluted in water. Evenly distribute the fried fillet, bell pepper, onion (in circles), herbs and mayonnaise (fine mesh) over the base. Place olives and cucumbers cut into rings on top. Place the baking sheet in the oven (temperature - about 200 degrees).
After exactly 15 minutes, remove the pizza from the oven, sprinkle with grated cheese and let it bake for another 5-7 minutes. The pizza needs to cool slightly before serving.
Pizza with cucumbers and sausages
For the test you will need:
- 1.5 glasses of water;
- three glasses of flour;
- a pinch of salt;
- three chicken eggs.
For the filling you will need to take:
- a tablespoon of mustard;
- one fresh cucumber;
- 2 tbsp. mayonnaise;
- garlic clove;
- large tomato;
- 200 g Poshekhonsky cheese;
- two sausages.
Preparation:
Mix flour, eggs, salt and water. Knead the dough and immediately roll it into a medium-thick flat cake.
Make the sauce: mix mayonnaise, crushed garlic and mustard. Lubricate the pizza base with it. Place cucumber, tomato and sausages cut into small cubes on top. If desired, you can also add garlic and salt to the filling. Place the pizza in the oven for 15 minutes. Then we take it out, sprinkle it with grated Poshekhon cheese and let it bake for another 5 minutes. The most delicious pizza is ready!
Yeast-free dough option
Using the technology described below, very nutritious and tasty baked goods are obtained. It is prepared so simply and quickly that it can be made even after a tiring day at work. To bake this pizza you will need:
- 3 chicken eggs.
- A tablespoon of mayonnaise and sour cream.
- 100 grams of butter.
- A pinch of table salt and baking soda.
- 450 grams of flour.
All these components are needed to knead the dough from which pizza with pickles and sausage will be baked. The recipe for this dish also assumes the presence of filling. To do this, you should have at hand:
- 50 grams of smoked pork ham.
- 100 milliliters of mayonnaise.
- 200 grams of sausage and easy-melting cheese.
- Canned cucumber.

- Break an egg into a container, add salt and oil.
- Stir and gradually add flour through a sieve.
- Knead a soft dough that does not stick to your hands.
- Roll it into a layer according to the size of the mold and immediately transfer it.
- Brush with tomato sauce using a brush.
- Cut the sausages into rings and distribute over the surface of the pizza.
- Do the same with cucumbers and olives.
- Cut the salami into quarters and place on top.
- Chop the tomatoes into rings and distribute.
- Grate the cheese and sprinkle it on the pizza.
- Place in the oven for fifteen minutes at 180 degrees.
Tip: Before serving, you can sprinkle the pizza with fresh arugula.
Algorithm of actions
In one bowl combine beaten eggs, sour cream and mayonnaise. Mix everything well with a whisk and add some salt. Add grated chilled butter to the resulting mass. Soda and pre-sifted wheat flour are also poured there. Mix everything vigorously with your hands.
The resulting fairly hard dough is transferred to a work surface generously sprinkled with flour, rolled out into a fairly thin layer and placed on a baking sheet. All this is generously coated with a mixture of tomato sauce and mayonnaise, covered with chopped sausage, pieces of smoked ham and chopped canned cucumbers. Sprinkle a layer of grated cheese on top and place the baking sheet in the oven. Pizza with sausage and pickles is baked at a temperature of 220 degrees. Literally fifteen minutes later it is pulled out of the oven and served.
Cooking hearty pizza
In a large frying pan, fry the minced meat. Mix it with finely chopped sausage. Add Worcestershire sauce, pepper and salt to taste. Roll out the pizza dough to fit the size of the baking stone

There is some sausage and hard cheese left in the refrigerator. It’s not for nothing that pizza is made from leftover ingredients. It was possible to make pizza with sausage and olives, but we tried this pizza with different types of meat. Cucumbers are our traditional vegetable, especially since every housewife prepares them for the winter, and I am no exception. In fact, pizza can be prepared with completely different “toppings”. Cuban pizza
This is a very original recipe that suggests using a pizza topping with pickles with an unusual combination of flavors. In total you will need the following:

- 1/4 cup yellow mustard;
