Classic stewed cabbage recipe
The thickness of the chopped vegetables determines their cooking time.
You will need:
1 kg of white cabbage, 1 onion, 1 carrot, 40 g of butter, a glass of warm water, 2 tbsp.
tomato paste, 1 tbsp. sugar, a slice of lemon, 4 peas each of black and allspice, salt. Preparation:
Fry chopped onions and carrots until transparent, add spices and shredded cabbage. After 10 minutes, pour in water mixed with tomato paste, sugar, salt and lemon juice. Cook for 15 minutes covered.
