Hello again, friends. Now we will talk about an unusual salad. These look like real tulips. And if you look up close, it’s a snack. Salad “Tulips” has been popular since Soviet times. And that’s all, because almost all products were in short supply. But processed cheeses were always on sale. Therefore, this product began to be added to many dishes. I have seen several names for this salad on the Internet, but the essence of the preparation remains the same. It is also called an appetizer because it is quick and inexpensive to prepare.

The “tulips” themselves are fresh or pickled red and yellow tomatoes. You can replace tomatoes with boiled eggs. You just have to carefully remove the yolks from the eggs. But first things first.

  • processed cheese;
  • chicken eggs;
  • garlic;
  • salt;

How to cook:

  1. Everything is extremely simple. Boil the eggs hard, cool and peel. Next, three on a fine grater. Now let's grate the melted cheese and add it to the eggs. I take 2 eggs and 1 cheese. You can double the quantity, depending on how many people the salad is intended for.
  2. We also add grated garlic – 2 cloves. Salt to taste and season with mayonnaise. Mix the salad and place it on a dish or in a salad bowl.
  3. Today I posted a beautiful tulip. The flower is made from lettuce, and the stem and leaves can be made from green onions.
