Fish like in a kindergarten - step-by-step recipes for cooking at home

Few people loved semolina porridge in childhood, but there are many other dishes that are remembered for their amazing taste. The hero of this article is a fish casserole like in kindergarten. Fish is extremely useful for a growing body, and adults will also like this casserole, because it is a low-calorie, tasty and nutritious dish. To make it just like in kindergarten, stock up on sea fish and beaten egg whites - this is the basis of the fish soufflé.

Is it allowed to give fish with bones in kindergarten?

Little visitors to the kindergarten are supposed to be served only fish without bones. First of all, this is done for the safety of the children, because not all kindergarteners can separate the bones. It happens that a child complains that in kindergarten they began to give fish with bones that prick. In this case, parents should act. First, you need to contact the management of the child care institution so that they can figure out whether there was a violation of technology or an accident. If the appeal was ignored, it is time for the municipal education department to sort out the situation.

Fish according to the recipe as in the garden with vegetables

This recipe requires the following products:

  • half a kilo of small-bone fish;
  • medium bulb;
  • tbsp thick sour cream;
  • small carrot;
  • 150 ml water;
  • 2 sprigs of parsley;
  • some dried herbs;
  • pepper;
  • a little vegetable oil for processing the pan;
  • salt.

Before cooking, the fish must be thoroughly washed and the tail and fins removed. Then:

Cut the fish into pieces about three centimeters wide, rub them with salt, pepper and herbs.

Grate the carrots and cut the onion into half rings.

Simmer vegetables for 5-10 minutes in oil.

Place the prepared pieces of fish on top of the vegetables, let them set for literally 2-3 minutes and turn them over.

Add sour cream and water so that the fish is half in the water.

We wait until the water boils, then cover the fish and keep it on low heat for about 10 minutes.

We put the pieces on a plate along with the vegetables and with the gravy in which the dish was stewed; it turned out to be an excellent fish with vegetables - just like in a kindergarten.

Fish and potato casserole

Fish goes well with any vegetables, including potatoes. The following simple casserole recipe is easy to make and always tastes amazing.

Ingredients:

  • Fish fillet or minced meat – 0.5 kg.
  • Potatoes – 5 pcs.
  • Chicken egg – 4 pcs.
  • Milk – 150 ml.
  • Fresh herbs - a bunch.
  • Salt - to taste.
  • Pepper - to taste.

Cooking process:

  1. Peel the potatoes and rinse under running water; the cubes should be medium in size.
  2. Wash the fish fillet, peel and cut into medium-sized pieces. Beat the eggs into a separate bowl and pour cold milk over them.
  3. Whisk the listed ingredients.
  4. Prepare a baking dish by greasing it with butter. Potatoes, cut into slices, are placed in it, fillet is placed on top of it, and the egg mixture is poured.
  5. When placing the casserole in the pan, you need to be careful that there should be no gaps between the pieces of fish and potatoes, otherwise the dish will fall apart after baking.
  6. The top layer can be sprinkled with chopped herbs, but it is better to do this after it is ready.
  7. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and place the dish for 50 minutes.

Kindergarten-style fish cooked in Polish with an omelet

If a child asks for “fish with an omelette” or “with an egg,” most likely, he means fish in Polish - one of the most popular kindergarten dishes. For it you will need:

  • small-bone fish;
  • 4 small chicken eggs;
  • 1 medium carrot;
  • 100 gr. butter;
  • 1 onion;
  • a bunch of greenery;
  • 2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice;
  • salt;
  • laurel;
  • pepper.

First, wash the fillet, salt, rub with lemon juice and leave to soak for about half an hour. Further:

Grate the carrots and finely chop the onion.


Boil the eggs and then grate them or chop them very finely.


Cut the fillet into squares approximately 2.5 cm by 2.5 cm.

Place carrots, fish, and onions in layers in a saucepan (it can be replaced with a deep frying pan).


Fill everything with water so that it covers the puff pastry by two centimeters (about three glasses of water will be needed). Set the heat to maximum and bring the dish to a boil. Then reduce it to low and cook for another 15 minutes.

For the sauce, heat the butter in a frying pan, add chopped eggs and lemon juice, mix everything.

The fish is prepared in Polish and just like in kindergarten. Most often this dish is served with potatoes or rice.

Really healthy and tasty

To prepare fish in an omelet, you can choose any fish, but preferably a fillet that has no bones. Otherwise, such a treat will simply be inconvenient to eat. The omelet is prepared according to a traditional recipe from only two ingredients - pasteurized cow's milk and eggs.

On a note! You can add various vegetables, spices, sauces, mushrooms and seafood to omelettes baked with fish in the oven. It is advisable to pre-heat vegetables.

Ingredients:

  • fillet of sea fish – 300-400 g;
  • green feather onions - 1 bunch;
  • chicken egg - three pieces;
  • pasteurized cow's milk - one glass;
  • ground allspice;
  • finely ground salt;
  • butter.

Preparation:

  1. To prepare such a dish, choose fish based on your taste preferences. A dish made from pink salmon will be tender and tasty.
  2. First defrost the pink salmon in a natural way, clean the insides, cut off the fin and tail parts.
  3. Wash the pink salmon thoroughly with filtered water and dry.

  4. Next, we cut up the pink salmon so that we only have the fillet part left. Cut the fish into portions.

  5. Transfer the pieces of pink salmon to a plate. Sprinkle with finely ground salt and ground allspice. You can also use freshly squeezed lemon juice.

  6. Wash and dry the green onions. Chop it finely with a knife.

  7. Break chicken eggs into a plate. We begin to beat them, and then pour in the pasteurized cow's milk. Add salt and mix thoroughly again to obtain a mass of homogeneous consistency.

  8. Grease the bottom and sides of the refractory mold with softened butter. Lay out the pink salmon fillet.

  9. Sprinkle chopped onion on top.

  10. Fill everything with the egg-milk mixture and put it in the oven.

  11. We will cook the omelette at a temperature threshold of 180-200° for 40 minutes.

Stewed fish with gravy just like in kindergarten

They make delicious fish in kindergartens, too. As a rule, its secret is milk sauce. At home, mothers sometimes replace it with sour cream, which also turns out very tasty, but not “like in kindergarten.” For stewed fish you will need:

  • half a kilo of small-bone fish;
  • 120 g butter;
  • 1 medium onion;
  • sunflower oil (grease the baking sheet);
  • 200 ml milk;
  • a handful of flour;
  • salt.

We wash and clean the fish, after which we begin preparing the dish:

Cut the fish into pieces and salt.

Fish cooked in Polish like in kindergarten. Place fish pieces on a baking sheet and place in the oven for 20 minutes. We select bones from the fish.

Cut the onion into small pieces and sauté in butter.

Making milk sauce:

Gently add hot milk into the flour, stir, and keep on low heat for 7 minutes.

Salt the sauce and strain.

Simmer fish and onions in milk sauce for 10 minutes.

Children really love stewed fish like in kindergarten, but if the child has a now common allergy to CMP (cow's milk proteins), this option is unlikely to be suitable.

    . Fish is an allergenic product, so it is recommended for children after 1-1.5 years. In addition, it is dangerous because of the bones, which must be selected with special care. Even if you bought fillet, check it for bones. And be sure to remove the skin, if any, leaving only the flesh. Now, after the fillet has become free of skin and bones, it can be cut. Make small pieces. You can, of course, pass it through a meat grinder or punch it with a blender, but since the pieces will be very soft after the oven, there is no particular need for this. By chopping finely, you will check the fish again for bones.

    Finely grate the peeled potatoes, place in a colander, rinse, and leave to drain.

    Chop the onion very finely (cut with a knife) or grate it on a fine grater.

    Place all prepared ingredients in a bowl and beat in the egg.

    Mix thoroughly and add salt. Grease a baking dish with butter. Place the prepared mixture into it.

    Flatten, cover with foil and place in the oven.

    Bake at 200 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Then open the foil and cook until the potatoes are tender and all the liquid has evaporated. If desired, you can bake the top a little. Fish casserole is especially good when served hot. It is advisable to eat it fresh, all at once, without leaving it for tomorrow.

. It will be delicious with any. Fillets of pink salmon, tilapia, pangasius, and salmon are perfect. The main thing is that the baby is already familiar with the fish being used.
