Borscht with sauerkraut - 7 step-by-step recipes


Hi all! Today my wife and I decided to cook borscht. Yes, not simple, but with sauerkraut. I want to eat sour soup, which not only fills you up, but also gives you energy. This is what the hand with the spoon reaches for. I don’t know why, but sometimes it’s acid that the body lacks so much.

Since we have cabbage in the cellar that we harvested in the fall, we will use it. Just recently we cooked borscht with beans. It turned out very tasty. Our family also loves solyanka, which is also worth trying. But this is a completely different dish and tastes different from ours today.

I don’t know about you, but my kids just love beetroot soup. They do not eat any other food in such quantity. They constantly ask for more and demand to cook it almost every day. Therefore, we have to prepare this dish in different variations. With or without meat, with the addition of some additional vegetables or spices. Only the taste changes, but this does not make it any less tasty.

You can also serve garlic donuts with this dish. All this will give the soup its own flavor, which you want to repeat again and again. I’ll say right away that borscht does not cook very quickly.
