For this soup we need a piece of beef, preferably on the bone. With a small streak of fat, for a rich broth. The older the beef, the redder the meat and the longer it will take to cook. Keep this in mind when preparing the broth.

When the meat is ready, remove it from the pan.
Peel the potatoes and cut them into fairly large pieces. Throw them into the broth. While the potatoes are cooking, prepare the roast for the beef soup.

Secrets to making the most delicious chicken and pasta soup
There are many approaches to preparing delicious soup, but not all of them give results that satisfy a particular cook. Many people don’t like breast soup, but those who love dietary dishes, on the contrary, cannot eat anything other than white meat!
Therefore, the choice of part of the chicken is a matter of taste. But we can say that the richest broth comes from the back of the carcass, which can be found in the so-called “soup set”.
The second important aspect is that it won’t turn out delicious if you use unfiltered water. This problem affects large cities, where liquid with a large amount of impurities flows from the tap. It differs significantly from the taste of healthy and fresh water.
There are a few more tricks and precautions you need to know before making the soup for the first time:
- You should not use “feather” or “horn” type pasta - they are too dense;
- purple onions are not suitable for soup - after boiling they lose color and become unappetizing;
- but rice can easily replace missing pasta and make the dish just as tasty and appetizing;
- The soup will get an original taste if you first fry the web noodles in a dry non-stick frying pan until golden brown;
- You should not add greens along with other vegetables - they will lose color and aroma. If you put it 1-2 minutes before it’s ready, it will become even brighter!
You can experiment with herbs in chicken soup. So, if it is better to add fresh dill a couple of minutes before the dish is ready, then dry dill can be poured at the moment of adding fried vegetables to the soup or even earlier - at the stage of preparing the broth. The same goes for parsley and other sets of herbs.
Delicious, nutritious and healthy chicken soup is easy. It is enough to follow the cooking technology to get the right broth. By adjusting the amount of pasta, you can increase or decrease the thickness of the soup. And by choosing white chicken meat and excluding frying vegetables, you can get a low-calorie dietary dish.
Chicken soup with cones is ready in 40 minutes. For the broth, you can use chicken meat or bones left over from preparing the second dish. A good option is chicken breast, since it costs less than chicken fillet, and the white meat itself can be used for various main courses, while leaving a lot of meat on the bones (well, I’m talking about the economy option).
So, to prepare chicken soup with horns we will need:
- chicken breast - 1 pc.
- 5 medium potatoes
- horns (small) - 100 g
- carrots -2 medium
- onion garlic
- greenery
- salt, pepper, seasonings
- butter for frying
- 1/4 teaspoon adjika
Preparing chicken soup:
- Pour cold water into a 3-liter saucepan, add the washed chicken meat, put it on the fire, after boiling, remove the foam and reduce the heat.
- After 20 minutes, add peeled and cut into small cubes potatoes, salt the water (approximately a little less than a teaspoon, it’s better to add salt later).
- After 5-7 minutes, when the water boils, add the horns to the broth.
- While our soup is preparing, we peel the carrots, onions, garlic, and wash the herbs.
- Three carrots on a grater, finely chop the onion, melt the butter in a frying pan and fry, first the onion, then add the carrots, when the vegetables are fried, if desired, you can add seasonings to the soup at your discretion.
- Five minutes before the end of cooking (that is, 15 minutes after the horns were thrown into the broth), add our frying to the chicken soup and also add a quarter teaspoon of adjika, stir the broth with a spoon. The soup should come to a boil.
- Finely chop the greens and garlic, add to the soup and turn off.

1. Choose a pan in which to cook the soup. It is advisable that it has a thick bottom, since the ingredients will be fried in it first. In such a pan they will not burn and will cook evenly.
2. Meanwhile, prepare the ingredients for the soup:
- Peel the potatoes and wash them under running water. Then cut into cubes;
- Peel the carrots and wash them thoroughly. Cut the prepared carrots into cubes, not too finely;
— peel the onion and garlic, cut into small cubes;
- peel the celery stalk and chop it into large pieces;
- Wash the tomatoes and cut them into cubes. If desired, you can remove the skin;
- grate parmesan on a fine grater;
- Wash the parsley, dry it, chop it finely.
3. Well, now that the ingredients are prepared, you can proceed directly to cooking. Place the bacon in a saucepan and put it on the fire.
4. When the fat begins to render, add carrots and celery. Fry for about 5-7 minutes. Then add the onion and garlic, continue to fry until the onion and garlic are soft, about 2-4 minutes.
5. Add dried herbs: basil and oregano. Mix. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Place potatoes into boiling broth.
6. When the broth with potatoes boils again, add the tomatoes. Drain the liquid from the beans and place them in the soup.
7. From this moment, cook for 15 minutes, after which we season the soup with salt and pepper. At this stage, place the horns and cook until they are ready, about 6 minutes from the moment of boiling. More precisely, you should focus on the preparation instructions, which are usually indicated on the back of the package.

Thanks to the availability of simple ingredients and a flight of imagination, I have always been able to prepare a hearty and appetizing soup without putting much effort into it. And yes, pasta and potatoes are often a good help in this matter. I won’t hide the fact that I’m not a big fan of combining pasta and potatoes in one dish, but my family really loves such soups. I am sharing several recipes for this dish with you.
Soup with pasta, potatoes and chicken
This dish can be offered to both children and adults. A simple soup with a rich taste and wonderful aroma perfectly satisfies your hunger in a matter of minutes.
- 2 liters of water;
- 200 g chicken fillet;
- 4 potatoes;
- 200 ml tomato juice;
- 70 g pasta;
- 1–2 heads of onions;
- 1 carrot;
- 1–2 bay leaves;
- 1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil;
- salt and ground black pepper - to taste.
- Cut the chicken meat into small pieces of arbitrary shape and place in a saucepan.
To prepare the soup, you can use chicken breast or meat from any other part of the chicken that has been removed from skin, bones and cartilage.
Cut the peeled potato tubers into cubes with a side of about 1.5 cm.
If the tomato juice is too sour, you can add a small amount of granulated sugar to the frying.
Add pasta to soup.
You can add pasta of any shape and size to the soup.
2-3 minutes after adding the pasta, transfer the tomato-vegetable mixture into the pan and add bay leaves. Continue cooking the dish for another 5 minutes.

Timely removal of the bay leaf from the finished dish helps to avoid the bitterness inherent in this plant from appearing in the soup.

An unusual recipe, thanks to which you can please your loved ones with a very tasty and uniquely aromatic dish with notes of Caucasian cuisine.
- 300 g boiled beef;
- 2/3 tbsp. pasta;
- 3–4 potatoes;
- 1 onion;
- 30 g butter;
- 1 tbsp. l. tomato paste;
- 2.5 liters of beef broth;
- 1/2 tsp. ground red pepper;
- 2 tsp. salt;
- 3-4 sprigs of fresh cilantro.
- Prepare all ingredients.

The duet of potatoes and pasta can perfectly complement tender meatballs. To make the cooking process easier and faster, the meatballs can be prepared in advance and frozen.
- 2.5 liters of water;
- 3–5 potatoes;
- 1 onion;
- 1 carrot;
- 80 g small pasta;
- 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil;
- 1 bay leaf;
- salt and ground black pepper - to taste;
- fresh dill.
400 g minced chicken;
- Stock up on the necessary ingredients.
Instead of chicken, you can use turkey, beef or mixed minced meat. However, if you use the last two of the above products, you will need to increase the cooking time for the meatballs by 3-5 minutes.
Place the meatballs in boiling water with a little salt and cook for 10 minutes.
After the water with the meatballs boils, an unappetizing foam will begin to appear on the surface of the liquid, which should be carefully removed with a slotted spoon or a regular spoon.
