This recipe is without potatoes. It is very tasty, I tried it and fell in love from the first try.
Ingredients:
- 100 grams of salted red fish (I use lightly salted homemade fish)
- 1-2 eggs
- 2 fresh cucumbers
- 0.5 avocado (if the avocado is small, then 1 piece)
- 1 tbsp. heaped spoonful of mayonnaise (can be replaced with sour cream)
- 0.5 teaspoon French mustard
- Pepper mixture
- Lemon juice optional (1 teaspoon)
The avocado should be peeled and the pit removed. Cut into cubes like Olivier.
Cut lightly salted salmon into cubes.

This appetizer is a good alternative for any holiday table. It always turns out tasty and satisfying.
Ingredients:
- 300 g lightly salted pink salmon
- 2 pcs. potato
- 2 pcs. carrot
- 3 pcs. eggs
- green onions, mayonnaise, salt - to taste
Cooking method:
The first thing we do is wash and boil the vegetables and eggs until tender. Then we rub them on a coarse grater (you can also use a medium grater). We cut the fish into small pieces. Finely chop the onion. Mix the crushed eggs with the sauce so that they keep their shape and do not fall apart.
All products are prepared, we begin to collect our treat. We will lay them out in traditional layers.
We compact each row and level it in the culinary ring. We place it on a flat plate.

Ingredients:
- Salted salmon – 250 g

Preparation:

This recipe contains apple, it gives a juicier and softer taste. Add onions as desired. If you add it, you can pour boiling water over it and let it stand for 10-15 minutes. Then we get rid of the liquid. In this way we get rid of bitterness. But that's up to you to decide.
Ingredients:

- 1 PC. carrot
- 1 PC. potato
- 1 PC. apple
- 100 g cheese
- 3-4 pcs. egg
- 150 g. lightly salted salmon

Cooking method:
Wash the products and boil until done. Then cool and clean. We also cook the apple - remove the skin and seed pod. Grind on a grater.
To prevent the apple from darkening, sprinkle it with lemon juice!

Beets - large (preferably squeezed through cheesecloth). We cut the fish into small pieces.
You can add onions, but I focus on small children and make them without them. And we begin to collect the treats.
Take the cooking ring and place it on a flat plate. We put the components in it in layers and coat each one (except the salmon) with mayonnaise. And don't forget to add some salt.
Sequence of layers: beets, potatoes, carrots, apples, cheese, fish, potatoes, beets, eggs, salmon and dill.
Let the dish sit in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Carefully remove the ring.
You can decorate it to your taste. Preferably those products that are included in the treat.

Fish baked under a “fur coat” - awesome, tasty, quick recipe
Vegetables soaked in cheese gave all their juices to the fish, and the baked fish under a fur coat turned out tender, juicy, with amazing taste.
Greens - a little (to taste)
Dry the defrosted fish with paper towels. We clean the vegetables.
Place the fish on a baking sheet lined with parchment, salt and season. Place the fish so as to completely cover the bottom of the pan.
Cut the onion into rings and place on top of the fish.
Then three carrots and cheese on top.
You can spread mayonnaise on top, but I like to make a mesh out of it. Place the pan in the oven for 50-60 minutes at 180 degrees.
When everything is browned, remove from the oven and sprinkle the baked fish with herbs.
It is better to cut baked fish into pieces when the dish has cooled.

Herring under a fur coat with red fish with gelatin in a new way
This salad can be said to be a changeover. We will lay out the layers in reverse. The top is below, and the beginning will be at the top. Then turn the dish over and wow a la. We will receive a very beautiful and tasty treat.
Ingredients:
- 3-4 pcs. potato

- 1 PC. carrot
- 1-2 pcs. beet

Cooking method:
We boil the products in advance and cool them. Then we clean and grind on a coarse grater. Peel the onion and chop it into small cubes. We clean the fish, remove all excess from it (leaving only the fillets) and cut it into small pieces.
The amount of gelatin and mayonnaise should be equal (for example, 250 ml each). We dilute gelatin according to the instructions. Then heat it in the microwave and add it to the mayonnaise. And with the resulting sauce we will coat each row of appetizers.
We take any form (in this case, silicone). And we begin to form our treat in layers. First and subsequent rows: red fish, herring, sauce, onions, potatoes, eggs, carrots, beets.
Then we put our treat in the refrigerator for several hours (at least 4 hours). Then we take it out and turn it over onto a flat dish. That's all. You can decorate it to your taste. And Bon Appetit.
Herring with vegetables and crab sticks in a lavash coat
This recipe is relatively new to me, and I started preparing it not so long ago. I don’t cook so often, mainly when I want some variety for entertaining guests, or just to please my family with a delicious dish.
I must say that the dish deserves attention. It turns out to be such a multi-colored roll that you can eat without bread. After all, all the vegetables and the herring itself are in a coat of lavash. The contents are not connected to each other, and this makes everything seem to be together, although separately.
The roll can be stored in the refrigerator for some time (a day to be exact), it does not stain or spread.
We will need (for about 10 servings):
- lavash – 2 pcs
- herring – 1 – 2 fillets
- beets – 1 piece
- carrots – 1 pc.
- potatoes – 2 pcs.
- egg – 1 pc.
- mayonnaise to taste (about 200 - 250 grams)
- salt to taste
I had two unattended crab sticks left from previous salads, and I decided to add them to my composition. At the same time, try how it tastes. But this is an experiment, so adding them is not necessary.
Preparation
- Boil all the vegetables and eggs in advance. Then cool them. Clean the herring from bones, skin and entrails. You can immediately cut it into transverse pieces, just as we usually cut slices for the table. I only had one fish fillet, so I came up with the idea of adding crab sticks to it.
- Prepare lavash. I will use two, although I need 4 layers. But if you cook from 4 pieces, it will turn out too big. We can't eat this one. So I just cut each half into two parts. Even if they are not completely even, we will later trim them.
- Choose soft lavash that rolls comfortably without tearing. Now there are some that are impossible to twist without breaking. But there are nice, soft, crispy slabs that wrap up nicely. Choose exactly these, otherwise nothing will work!
- Select the first quarter of the plate without damage or breaks. It will be our basis, and it is clear that if it has a flaw, then the whole roll will turn out the same. Especially check the integrity in the center. Imagine if there was a hole there. And when you wrap the roll, it will probably spread even more.
- Place the layer on the table and grate the potatoes directly over it. If this is not convenient, then you can first rub it over a plate and then transfer it. Grate all components on a coarse grater.
- The layer will be loose and not dense, but that’s how it should be. In this case, we don’t need a very thick roll, otherwise it will tear due to its density. Therefore, we only designate each of them. Look at the photo to see how it should be positioned.
- Salt the potatoes and put on a mayonnaise mesh. There is no need to stir it so as not to touch the delicate layers of bread again.
- It is convenient to make a mesh if you cut off the thin tip from the mayonnaise package, or place the product in a plastic bag and cut off the small tip there.
- We apply the second plate, but not symmetrically, but with the round end on the contrary, turning it towards the straight one. Grate the beets on top, also while they are weighed, so that they do not release too much juice. Don’t forget that we grind everything on a coarse grater.
- We also lightly salt the beets and apply the same light mayonnaise mesh on it.
- Next we will have eggs. Here everything is the same, asymmetrically place a layer of pita bread, first three of them on a coarse grater, and then apply mayonnaise sauce. Yes, and don’t forget to add a little salt.
- And finally, the last element of our design - it will consist of several additives. The carrots will go first; we will also have three of them on a coarse grater right above the layer of pita bread. Add a little salt and apply mayonnaise.
- Then, at intervals, add slices of fish and finally chopped crab sticks. If they are not there, then only fish, but then it is advisable to have two fillets.
- Starting from one of the sharp ends, roll the pita bread with filling diagonally into a roll. Try to do this more tightly, however, accuracy is also needed here so as not to tear our base.
- However, the roll wraps perfectly, without any particular difficulties. After obtaining the desired shape, cut off the empty ends and cut the roll into two equal parts. It turned out very beautiful already.
- Place each half in a bag, or wrap it in cling film and put it in the refrigerator for a while so that the pita bread becomes a little tougher. But in general, this is not a mandatory procedure; the roll can be cut immediately.
- But I still give him the opportunity to lie down for at least half an hour.
- To serve, cut the roll into pieces approximately 1.5 cm thick and place on a plate. Decorate to your liking. For garnish I used chopped green onions, black sesame and paprika.
To ensure that there are no red marks left on the top of the pieces, each piece must be cut with a clean knife. In this case, the feed will be neat.
Many people say that this version of herring under a fur coat is much tastier than regular herring. It’s hard to argue with them, as well as with lovers of classic options. But one thing is certain, this snack is very tasty. And it is true! Try cooking it and you will see for yourself.
You can prepare an appetizer with red fish in a similar way. In this case, instead of herring, we simply add our favorite fish, everything else remains unchanged.
By the way, I didn’t say anything about crab sticks. The experiment was a success. Although barely noticeable, they brought a variety of taste. And many noticed this, asking what was added there?!
"Tsar's fur coat" - roll with caviar and red fish
This treat looks simply gorgeous on the table. It turns out very tasty and is eaten in an instant. And for any housewife this is the highest praise, which means her efforts were not in vain.
Ingredients:
- 200 g lightly salted salmon
- 2-3 carrots
- 2-3 potatoes
- 3 eggs
- Red caviar
- mayonnaise and herbs to taste
Cooking method:
Boil vegetables and eggs in advance. Clean and grind. Carrots on a fine grater, and the rest of the products on a coarse grater. Then we begin to form our treat. For this we need foil (cling film). We lay the components on it in even layers and grease each row with mayonnaise.
- The first layer is carrots, lightly salted, then the sauce;
- The second layer is potatoes, pepper and salt to taste;
- The third is eggs;
- Fourth - closer to the center we place pieces of salmon and a strip of greenery next to it;
And don’t forget the basic rule - each next layer should be a little smaller than the previous one.
We lift the edges of the foil and use it to connect our treat. Lightly press, compact and thus form a roll.
We place it in the refrigerator for several hours so that our dish is soaked and makes friends with each other. When serving, decorate. Along the edges we apply thin strips of sauce, red caviar and herbs with green cucumbers. Bon appetit!

Peel the onion, wash it, cut it into small cubes or thin half rings.
Remove bones and skin from the fish and cut into small pieces.
Place the salad in layers on a flat dish, you can use a cooking ring (it holds its shape well, it will turn out very beautiful). Place the fish in the first layer.
Place the onion layer next and sprinkle with lemon juice. By the way, when you chop an onion, try it right away - if it is very bitter, scald it with boiling water or soak it in a marinade of vinegar and water.
Apply a light mayonnaise mesh.
Next, evenly place a layer of grated carrots. You don’t have to put mayonnaise on it, since the carrots themselves are juicy and tender.
Spread the potatoes next.
Coat it generously with mayonnaise.
Place the final layer of beets.
A tasty and very bright salad is ready. To ensure it is well soaked, refrigerate for at least 3-4 hours.
When serving, decorate the top with a salmon rose and finely chopped green onion.

Rolling a roll from a “Fur Fur Coat” is a housewife’s skill. And making rolls from the famous salad is simply top class. In fact, there should not be any particular difficulties. - Finish the roll with grated beets, which you place on top of the sauce.
- Wrap the salad using a mat, giving it a somewhat square shape.
- Cut the resulting roll into portioned roll pieces, garnish with herbs and mayonnaise. You can serve with pickled ginger and soy sauce. As you can see, it turns out very beautiful and impressive.

Salad “Shuba with red fish and cheese”
This delicious recipe features cheese. And it, combined with smoked fish, will give the dish a new charming taste.
Ingredients:
- 200 g smoked salmon

- 3-4 pcs. potato
- 500 g beets
- 3-4 pcs. carrot
- 5 pieces. chicken egg
- mayonnaise and salt to taste

It is not as high in calories as mayonnaise, it will not flow like sour cream, and the subtle taste of the dressing will only emphasize the tenderness of the salmon.
So:
- Remove the “clothing” from cooked foods.
- Grind the potatoes, carrots and beets on a coarse grater, without mixing in the process.
- Separate the egg whites and chop into large pieces.
- Grind the yolks on a fine grater into a separate bowl.
- Peel the onion and chop finely. If the onion has too much bitterness, then after slicing, put it in a bowl and pour boiling water over it for 10 minutes. Onions can also be pickled. Why pour finely chopped onions with 9% vinegar, half diluted with water. The bow should be completely hidden. Leave it for 15 minutes, then strain and dry on a paper towel.
- Lay out in layers. The first layer is salmon. Next - potatoes, carrots, whites, beets, yolks.
- Place the salad in the refrigerator overnight.
