A universal solution for dinner would be a pork shoulder baked in the oven. The recipe for such a dish is so simple and straightforward that even a teenager can do it. To get the best results, choose fresh meat with small streaks of fat. It is almost impossible to spoil such a product during the baking process. This means that even a beginner is likely to succeed. Pork shoulder baked in the oven

Roasted pork is an easy to prepare and delicious lunch or dinner. If the piece of meat is large enough that the family won't eat it at dinner, you'll have perfectly cooked meat for sandwiches or sandwiches for breakfast. This meat is equally tasty both hot and cold. When cold, it can be served as a snack, cut into thin slices.

Ingredients:

  • Pork shoulder – 1 kg
  • Salt - 0.5 tsp.
  • Pepper, h.m. - 0.5 tsp
  • Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp.
  • White wine vinegar - 1 tbsp.
  • Garlic - 5-6 cloves
  • A mixture of Provencal herbs - 0.5 tsp.
  • Fennel seeds - 0.5 tsp.

Step-by-step recipe with photos:

Brush the meat with vegetable oil and sprinkle with white wine vinegar. Season with salt and pepper on all sides.

Place the pork shoulder on foil, place garlic on top of the meat, sprinkle with fennel seeds and aromatic herbs. By the way, if you like, you can stuff the meat with garlic; I prefer that it just imparts its flavor to the meat.

Wrap the spatula in foil so that the juice does not leak out during cooking, but remains in the foil.

Place in a baking dish and pour some water into it. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees and bake the meat for 1.5 hours. After a while, unfold the foil, reduce the temperature to 180 degrees, turn on the convection mode and let the meat brown.

Before serving, let the meat rest for 15 minutes so that all the juices are evenly distributed throughout the piece.

This is, of course, true, because the neck is quite fatty meat, with layers of fat. But not everyone likes this part of pork, precisely because of the large amount of fat. In order for the boiled pork from the shoulder blade to also turn out juicy, soft and tasty, you just need to follow some rules for its preparation. First, don't forget the meat marinade. Secondly, prepare the spatula in a baking sleeve. And thirdly, add some mineral water to the sleeve - it will help the meat become tender. As you can see, nothing complicated is required from you, but your reward will be very tasty, beautiful and satisfying oven-baked pork.   • 1 kg pork shoulder;
  • 4 cloves of garlic;
  • 1 tsp mustard;
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil;
  • 1.5 tsp. salt;
  • 2 tsp seasonings for pork;
  • 1 tsp soy sauce;
  • 0.3 glasses of mineral water.

Meat cooking process

Wash the pork shoulder and dry it with a paper towel.

Cut 2 cloves of garlic in half. We make cross-shaped cuts in the meat - in different places. And insert the halves of the garlic cloves into these cuts so that they are completely hidden.

Pass the remaining garlic through a press and add to the meat. We also add salt, meat seasoning, mustard and soy sauce.

Coat the meat with spices on all sides. Cover with a lid or cling film and leave to marinate at room temperature for 1 hour. You can marinate the meat in advance, for example, in the evening, and bake it in the morning. In this case, it should be left in the refrigerator.

Place the meat in a baking sleeve. Add mineral water.

We tie the ends of the sleeves well and put them in the oven.
