From time immemorial, meat on the table has been considered a sign of prosperity; there are a great many variations in how to serve it. For this, chefs have come up with hundreds of marinades, including spicy, mild or sweet and sour.
Pork shank will occupy a “royal place” on the table as an independent dish or with a side dish, which can be very varied, but potatoes are considered the most universal, however, pasta, boiled buckwheat or vegetable stew are in no way inferior in taste. The cooking process takes no more than an hour and a half, taking into account the preparation of ingredients.
Tasty and juicy pork knuckle baked in the oven in foil
Pork ham always turns out to be the most tender and, as usual, ends instantly.
Ingredients:
- pork ham – 1-2 carcasses;
- curry, cumin, pepper mixture – 5 g;
- fine salt – 15 g;
- soy sauce – 20 ml;
- dill greens – 1 bunch;
- grainy mustard - 1 tablespoon with top;
- garlic – 5 cloves;
- liquid honey (buckwheat, linden) – 15 ml.
Detailed description of actions:
- Make shallow holes in the carcass and insert garlic cloves.
- Then combine spicy and hot spices, salt, and finely chop the dill. Rub the pork loin and skin with this mixture.
- Place the ham on a baking sheet, wrapping it in 2 layers of foil.
- Place in an oven preheated to 180 C for a couple of hours.
- Combine melted honey, mustard seeds and soy sauce in a bowl.
- Coat the pork with a thick spicy paste.
- Place in the oven, bake for 20 minutes.
