Therefore, I decided to add to your collection of recipes and share with you the secrets of how to cook baked potatoes with lard in the oven.

    Ingredients

    1. Cut 300-400 grams of lard into thin slices.

    1. Cut the potatoes from the next batch into two equal halves and place them in a deep container. Add salt and pepper to your taste and mix everything well.

    2. Next, place one piece of lard and one piece of garlic on the cut side of the potato halves. To prevent the lard and garlic from slipping, we secure them with toothpicks. As a result, we get a kind of boat.
      If you don’t have toothpicks on hand, you can use matches, after first clearing them of the wax head.

    3. When all the “ships” are ready, lay them out on a flat surface and leave them aside.

    We also cut the potatoes from the last batch in half, put them in a deep bowl, add salt, pepper and mix.

    1. Before putting the cut potatoes and lard into the oven, wrap them in foil.

    To bake potatoes with lard and cheese in the form of accordions, you will need to follow these steps:

    1. You need to preheat the oven to 200°C and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
    2. Next, use a sharp knife to slice the entire top of the potatoes into thin, cross-sectional slices, stopping about three-quarters of the way down to ensure the base of each tuber remains intact.
    3. After this, you need to distribute 1 tbsp. l. oil evenly over the top of each potato, season with pepper and fine salt, then place on the prepared baking sheet.
    4. Then you need to bake the potatoes until golden brown and soft, 20 to 25 minutes.
    5. Next, remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle each baked potato with 2 tbsp. l. grated cheese and 2 tbsp. l. finely chopped lard and push most of the filling into the slots.
    6. After this, you need to return the tubers to the oven and bake for another 5-7 minutes.
    7. Allow the cooked potatoes to cool for 5 minutes. before serving.

    Potato kebab with lard, baked in the oven
