Spaghetti with sausage cannot be called a holiday dish. It's more of a quick dinner. And there is hardly a person who has never tried such a dish. Spaghetti with sausage is a taste from childhood. And now many people really want to feel the familiar taste again, not because they don’t have enough money or time, but simply because of nostalgia for the past years.

Fortunately, there is now no shortage of sausage, and there is also plenty of high-quality pasta on store shelves. So you can safely start preparing such a simple, but very tasty dish in its own way.

Fried pasta

All ingredients are listed below, but some of them can be replaced. For example, instead of olive oil, any vegetable analogue will do, and basil can be replaced with parsley. So, here's what you need for the dish:

  • spaghetti – 0.5 kg;
  • sausage - 150 g;
  • sweet pepper – 200 g;
  • onion - one head;
  • tomato sauce – 150 g;
  • basil (or parsley) – 2-3 sprigs;
  • olive oil – 2 tbsp. l.;
  • salt;
  • pepper.

Step-by-step recipe for pasta casserole with sausage and tomatoes

A recipe for those who don’t like to spend too much time in the kitchen, or simply don’t have time to cook. A very quick and nutritious dinner.

  • 400 g pasta;
  • 1 medium onion;
  • 250 g sausage;
  • 50 g smoked sausages (optional);
  • 4 cloves of garlic;
  • 1 bell pepper;
  • 2 medium tomatoes;
  • 2 canned cucumbers;
  • 1 tsp dried garlic;
  • pepper and salt - to taste;
  • 1 tbsp. spoon of butter;
  • 200 g cheese slices;
  • 3-4 tbsp. l. mayonnaise;
  • 2 tbsp. l. ketchup;
  • 1 tsp mustard.

Cook pasta according to package instructions. In a frying pan with a spoonful of butter, sauté the chopped onion and 1 clove of garlic until soft. Add pasta, salt and pepper. Mix everything well, simmer for another minute and remove from heat.

Cut bell peppers, tomatoes and canned cucumbers into cubes. First place the pasta and onions in a greased form. Top with diced tomatoes and canned cucumbers. Season with ground black pepper.

Then sausage with smoked sausages. If you like it spicier, add 3 minced garlic cloves.

Prepare a sauce from mayonnaise, ketchup and mustard. Cover the top of the casserole with this mixture. Place slices of cheese on top or grate them. Bake for 10-15 minutes at 200 degrees.
