- Next, you need to prepare another frying pan by greasing it with 30 ml of sunflower oil, place minced chicken with chopped onion in it, add 1/2 tsp. table salt, mix thoroughly and cook for 10 minutes on medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- Now you can transfer the fried minced meat with onions to the potatoes, add a little more table salt, mix well and simmer for about 5 minutes. over low heat. Afterwards, you will need to close the pan with a lid, remove it from the heat and leave it like that for 5 minutes.
What can I add?
You can add garlic, sour cream or mayonnaise, carrots, tomatoes, bell peppers, cabbage, eggplants or zucchini, wild mushrooms or champignons, green beans, peas, cheese to the dish. Vegetable oil can be replaced with olive or butter.

- Next, you should heat the frying pan, grease it with sunflower oil and lay out 1/5 of the resulting mass, distributing it evenly over the entire bottom of the frying pan. The potato cake must be fried on both sides until golden brown. The remaining tortillas must be fried in the same way.
- Now you need to prepare the filling. To do this, you will need to chop 80 g of cheese on a fine grater, pour it into a bowl, and add minced chicken. You also need to add the remaining onion, after first grinding it through a meat grinder, add the remaining salt, freshly ground pepper and thoroughly mix all the ingredients until smooth.
- Afterwards, you can place a potato cake on a cutting board, cover it evenly with the filling and wrap the workpiece in a roll. The remaining rolls should be assembled in the same way and placed in a fireproof baking dish.
- Then the rolls can be poured with sour cream and sprinkled with the remaining cheese, chopping it on a grater. The oven must be preheated to 200 °C, place the rolls inside and bake them for no more than 40 minutes.
How to cook potatoes with mushrooms
Let's look at the third option for cooking potatoes. There are already mushrooms here. An excellent ingredient that goes with almost all products. And potatoes are no exception. You can use any mushrooms. Mostly mushrooms are easy to get. They can be purchased at any grocery store. In second place are oyster mushrooms. In other words, you can use any mushrooms you like.
We will need:

- onions - 300 grams
- coriander - 1 tablespoon
- garlic - 5-10 cloves

1. Let's start with preparing the products. Peel the potatoes and wash them well. Peel the garlic and onion. Rinse the mushrooms under running water and remove rotten areas.
2. Chop onion and garlic. Cut potatoes and mushrooms into small cubes. Coriander needs to be ground in a coffee grinder.
3. Take a frying pan. Pour vegetable oil and heat the frying pan. Add the onion and fry it over medium heat for 3-5 minutes. Don't forget to stir so the onion doesn't burn. Then add the garlic and simmer for 3 minutes.
4. Once the last 3 minutes have passed, add the mushrooms and simmer for 10 minutes. The fire is still medium. Mix.
5. Add potatoes. Cover the frying pan with a lid. DO NOT MIX!
6. Once 5 minutes have passed, remove the lid, add salt to taste and mix well.
7. Again, 5 minutes have passed, remove the lid. Add coriander. Mix. Put the lid back on. After 5 minutes, mix again. And simmer over low heat until fully cooked.
If the frying pan runs out of vegetable oil, you can add more. Without oil, potatoes may burn.

- Now you need to form pancakes with your hands; the thickness of the pieces should be no more than 1 cm so that the pieces are evenly fried. Now you can pour sunflower oil into a frying pan, add potato pancakes and fry them over medium heat for about 6 minutes. on both sides, covering the pan with a lid.

What gives the zrazas a special softness is an ingredient that you won’t find in every recipe – kefir. If you add it to the meat filling, it will definitely delight you with its tenderness and juiciness, which will make the potato dish even more unforgettable. Zrazy is especially tasty when prepared from minced pork and beef. Turmeric, a mixture of peppers, coriander and curry are responsible for the spicy notes here, but you can choose spices and seasonings to suit your taste.
Ingredients:
- Potatoes – 1 kg.
- Flour – 5-6 tbsp. l.
- Egg – 1 pc.
- Minced meat – 300 g.
- Carrots – 100 g.
- Onions – 150 g.
- Kefir – 50 ml.
- Vegetable oil – 100 ml.
- Greens - to taste.
- Curry - to taste.
- Mixture of peppers - to taste.
- Turmeric - to taste.
- Coriander - to taste.
- Salt - to taste.
Cooking method:
- At the beginning of the culinary process, we prepare all the ingredients. Using a measuring cup, pour out the required amount of flour, pour in kefir and vegetable oil. Peel the potatoes, rinse them and place them in a pan of water, then boil the vegetable until fully cooked, adding a little salt. We remove the skins from the onions and chop them. We clean and wash the carrots, pass them through a fine grater. We wash the greens under running water, dry them a little and finely chop them.
- Let's move on to preparing the filling. Heat a frying pan, pour a little vegetable oil into it and fry the chopped onion in it until it turns golden brown. Then we lay out the prepared minced meat, use a wooden spatula to break up the meat lumps and cook it together with the onion, salting it and sprinkling it with the necessary spices to taste. Next, lay out the carrots, cook for a couple of minutes and add the greens. Fry a little more, stirring the filling well, and then turn off the heat and let the filling cool a little. Later, add kefir and mix everything again.
- By this time the potatoes should be cooked. Drain the water from the pan and mash the potatoes with a potato masher until pureed, so as to remove all the lumps. Next, break one egg, add 3 tbsp. l. pre-sifted flour and thoroughly mix the potato dough.
Tip: If desired, you can also add spices to the potato dough. Turmeric, for example, will give a beautiful yellow tint.
- Sprinkle the cutting board with a small amount of flour so that the zrazy does not stick to it. Then we begin to form the dish. Use a tablespoon to scoop out the potato dough and roll it into a ball with your hands. Then flatten it so that the thickness of the cake does not exceed 1 cm. Place 2 tsp in the center. cooked minced meat, and then carefully connect the edges. We lay out the molded zrazy on the board.
- Heat a clean frying pan, pour in a little vegetable oil and fry the zrazy on both sides over medium heat until a golden crust appears on them.

- Now the boiled potatoes need to be mashed with the addition of milk, eggs and butter using a potato masher. You can add salt to the finished puree to taste. The cheese should be grated on a coarse grater.
- Then you can form the casserole. Place half of the prepared puree on the bottom of a heat-resistant dish, spread it over the bottom in an even layer, place the filling of vegetables and minced meat on top, lay out the remaining puree as the last layer and level it in the same way. And now put this whole mass back into the frying pan, add a little oil into it, and put it on the fire. Flatten and cook over low heat for about 5 minutes until the bottom is set, covering with a lid.

- We peel the garlic cloves and pass them through a fine grater, then fry them in vegetable oil in a preheated frying pan until a characteristic aroma appears.
- Add the prepared minced pork to the frying pan, crushing the meat lumps using a wooden spatula. Cook until the minced meat loses its color.
- At this time, wash the greens and white cabbage. Dry it a little and finely chop the ingredients.
- Add the last two chopped ingredients to the minced meat, mix and fry for a few more minutes, then pour in the required amount of soy sauce. Mix well and simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
Tip: it is best to use Kikkoman soy sauce for cooking, as it best approximates the original taste.
- After the time has passed, transfer the ingredients from the frying pan to the puree and mix the mixture well. Leave it for a while to cool down.
- We take the prepared mass with our hands and form it into medium-sized sausages so that they look like a goose egg. Roll the finished zrazy in flour, then in the egg, which we beat in advance, and then in breadcrumbs.
- Heat a clean frying pan, pour in a sufficient amount of vegetable oil and deep-fry the Japanese-style potato zrazy until they become golden brown and crusty. Then we transfer the “cutlets” to a paper towel or napkin to remove excess fat.
Place the prepared Japanese-style potato zrazy with minced meat on lettuce leaves and serve. If desired, you can add hot sauces or adjika to the dish. Eat to your health and have a satisfying meal!
Cannelloni casserole
Cannelloni are pasta shaped like large tubes.

To prepare the casserole you will need the following ingredients:
- 500 g minced pork and beef;
- 2 onions;
- 1 potato tuber;
- 1 egg;
- 50 g of a bun (or loaf);
- 2 cloves of garlic;
- 4 cannelloni;
- 100 g champignons;
- 1 carrot;
- 4 broccoli florets;
- 4 tbsp. l. cream 10% fat;
- 50 g cheese;
- 2 tsp. table salt.

The mushrooms also need to be washed, peeled and finely chopped.
- Next, you will need to fry the onion cubes in sunflower oil until transparent, then add the champignons and continue frying until the onions are golden. Now you can add the grated carrots along with the broccoli and fry the ingredients for about 2 more minutes.
- Then you can pour the cream into the frying pan, simmer the ingredients until thickened, add the grated cheese and let it melt. You need to stuff the cannelloni with the finished filling.
- Then you need to grind the remaining onion, peeled garlic cloves and potato tuber through a meat grinder. The bun needs to be soaked in milk, squeezed out and added to the onion mixture along with minced meat. You also need to break an egg into the mixture, add salt and freshly ground pepper and mix the ingredients until smooth.
- Now you should cover a cutting board with cling film, place the minced meat on it and form a rectangle out of it. The cannelloni must be placed in the center of the minced meat and wrapped in a tight roll using cling film.

- Place the fried potatoes on a paper towel to remove excess oil. Then you need to wash the eggplant, peel it, cut it into circles, sprinkle them with salt, leave for 15 minutes, drain off the juice, rinse under running water and dry.
- Now you need to prepare the zucchini by washing them and cutting them into circles, fry the zucchini and eggplant in turn in a frying pan on each side until golden brown. Afterwards, place them on paper napkins and allow excess oil to drain. Then you need to fry the chopped bell pepper until it turns golden.
- Next, you should wash the onion, remove the husk from it and finely chop it. You also need to wash and chop the greens. Then you need to put the minced meat in a bowl, pour in finely chopped onions, spices, herbs, chopped garlic and mix thoroughly.
- Then you should knead the minced meat, moisten your hands with water, form cutlets of the same size, place them in a frying pan and fry in the remaining oil until half cooked. You need to fill the selected form with fried vegetables, distribute the cutlets between them and start preparing the sauce.
- Pour boiled water into a separate bowl, add granulated sugar, table salt, chopped red pepper, chopped garlic and mix thoroughly.
- Afterwards, you need to pour the prepared sauce over the cutlets with vegetables and potatoes, cover the pan with food foil, heat the oven to maximum temperature, place the dish in it and cook for 15 minutes. under foil. When the oil in the frying pan is hot, scoop up the dough with a spoon, put it on the frying pan, slightly leveling and pressing the dough, forming not a thick pancake, but not a pancake either, something in between in thickness. Fry for 2 minutes on each edge until light brown. It is better to turn over with a spatula, helping with a fork, and it is better to place the finished pancakes on a wire rack or on a paper napkin so that excess fat drips off.
