I tried this salad for the first time in a restaurant, I was delighted with the taste and wanted to repeat it at home. The secret of crispy eggplants is that you need to fry them in starch, then the eggplants turn out soft on the inside and with a delicious crispy crust on the outside.

For the salad we will need the following ingredients:

  1. One large or several small eggplants (about 200 grams)
  2. Starch (potato or corn)
  3. Tomatoes (look for the most delicious tomatoes, a lot will depend on their juiciness and taste)
  4. Red onion
  5. Sesame
  6. Cheese (any salty and preferably soft, I had a piece of blue cheese, I used that)
  7. Oil for frying
  8. Oil for dressing or sweet chili sauce, if you have it (it will be delicious either way, but chili sauce is more for everyone, although this is what is used in the original recipe)

Let's get started. First of all, cut the eggplant into medium-sized pieces. Try not to chop it, but even with huge pieces it won’t be as tasty. My eggplants are young, the season is now July, so I just need to cut them. If yours are not young, then after cutting, sprinkle with salt and leave for about 20 minutes so that the eggplants release their juice. This way we will get rid of bitterness. Drain the juice.

Next, pour starch into a plate and roll the eggplant pieces in starch. Roll it very well, on all sides, so that the starch covers the entire piece.

Pour the oil into a saucepan and put it on the stove, wait until it warms up well. We will fry the eggplants in oil, so we pour in enough oil to create a deep-frying effect when frying. Throw the eggplants in starch into the oil, fry on all sides, stirring occasionally during frying. It is necessary to fry until a golden crust appears.

We take out the finished eggplants and place them on a paper towel. This will allow the towel to absorb at least some of the oil.

While the eggplants are cooling, chop the tomatoes, onions and cheese for the salad.

Lightly fry the sesame seeds in a frying pan without oil, then put them in a bowl and wait until it cools.

When the eggplants have cooled a little and the towel has absorbed the oil, you can add the eggplants to the salad with the tomatoes. Next, sprinkle with sesame seeds, salt and pepper everything thoroughly (optional)

and season with sunflower oil. Stir and enjoy the amazing taste of the warm salad. It's best to eat while the eggplants are warm, then they will be crispier, bon appetit!

Salad with pomegranate

The benefits of pomegranate for the human body are undeniable. This fruit is rich in many vitamins, trace elements and minerals vital for our body. It is recommended as a natural remedy for increasing hemoglobin, calling it a source of energy and strength. In addition to eating it in its pure form, you can prepare many delicious and festively colorful dishes from pomegranate seeds.

Of course, not everyone likes pomegranate, primarily because of the large seeds and the rather complicated method of extracting the grains. However, in the autumn-winter period, when there is a shortage of natural sources of vitamins, we still advise you not to give up this exotic delicacy.

Cooking instructions

Boil all vegetables and meat. Cool and finely chop and grate.

Lay out products in layers. Add salt to each layer and grease with mayonnaise. Potatoes come first.

Scald the chopped onion with boiling water, drain the water and pour in the marinade: 2 tbsp. l. vinegar, a small amount of water, sugar to taste. Marinate for 15–20 minutes. Next, squeeze out the onion (you can rinse it lightly in cold water to remove the vinegar taste).

Next, grate the carrots.

The next layer is meat.

Peel the nuts, fry them in a frying pan, chop them.

The last ball is beets.
