Step-by-step preparation
- Pour 2 liters of water into a saucepan and put on fire. Cut 4-6 sausages into 3 parts.
- Stuff all the sausage pieces with pasta: take a small bunch of pasta and pierce the piece lengthwise. In total, use up to 210 g of dry pasta. Place a piece of sausage in the middle of the pasta.
- When the water boils, add salt (1 tablespoon) and add the stuffed sausage pieces. When one part of the spaghetti has softened in the water, carefully immerse the entire length of the pasta in the water. Stir and cook until the pasta is ready.

Culinary tricks
To make pasta with sausages tasty and not overcooked, it is important to know how to cook them correctly. It would seem like the simplest dish, but everything has its own nuances and secrets:
- Regardless of the shape of the pasta, they need to be placed in boiling salted water and cooked over low heat until the required consistency. It is preferable for it to be al dente, which is when the pasta is just a little firm inside.
- After boiling the pasta, place it in a colander to remove all excess liquid and season with vegetable or butter so that it does not stick together. It is not so important what kind of oil it is, the main thing is that there is fat.
- In order for the pasta to cook properly, you need to maintain the ratio of product and water - 300 g. Pasta requires at least 2.5 liters of salted water. If there is less water, the products will turn out sticky and viscous or simply stick together.
- While cooking pasta, be sure to stir it constantly.
- Pasta casseroles can be prepared either from already cooked cold ones (leftover side dishes) or from products cooked specifically for preparing the dish. You can add a variety of ingredients to them, not just sausages: cottage cheese, minced meat, etc.
- It is best to choose those pasta whose packaging indicates a cooking time of 5-7 minutes, because otherwise they may become too boiled and the dish will not work out.
- In all of the recipes listed, if necessary, you can replace the sausages with boiled sausage, trying to cut it into pieces that resemble sausages. However, the sausage for the dish needs to be cooked a little less than sausages.
- When cooking in a slow cooker, it is important not to overdo the amount of water in the bowl, otherwise the pasta may become too cooked and turn into a flour ball.
- In casseroles, hard cheese can be used not only for sprinkling on top, but also for mixing with the main mass. You can grate it on a coarse or fine grater.
- The form for pasta casseroles must be greased with oil and, if possible, it is advisable to sprinkle it with breadcrumbs or semolina.
- It is better not to cut pasta casseroles with sausages while they are hot, as they will fall apart, and it is better to let the dish cool at least a little before serving it.
