  • Iron is a substance necessary for normal metabolism, oxygen transportation, hormone production, and high-quality functioning of the immune system.
  • Sodium is an element vital for people who lead an active lifestyle, grow, participate in the transfer of various substances, and have a vasodilating effect.

Simple recipe No. 2. Apple cider vinegar with honey

Ingredients: 5 large apples or pulp and leftovers from 10 apples, filtered water, 1 cup liquid honey

Cooking method:

  1. Cut the apples into pieces with a diameter of at least two to three centimeters (including seeds and cores).
  2. Transfer the apple mixture into a suitable bowl until it is filled to about ½ full.
  3. Fill the container with clean water until it covers the apples (but leave 5-10 centimeters of free space at the top).
  4. Dissolve honey in water and knead the mixture thoroughly with a wooden spatula.
  5. Cover the dish with a linen kitchen towel or gauze rolled up in several layers and secure the whole thing with a tourniquet.
  6. Move it to a warm corner of the kitchen and keep it there for 1-2 weeks, stirring daily.
  7. Are apple slices no longer floating on the surface of the liquid? So the hard apple cider is ready. It's time to strain it into another container and cover it again with a clean cloth.
  8. Leave the liquid to ferment for another 3-4 weeks. At the end of the third week, take a sample of the resulting product - if it is not strong enough, then let it “play” for another week or two.

How to determine whether a “healthy product” is prepared correctly?

Some housewives wonder why it is recommended to make apple cider vinegar in glass containers? The answer is simple - this is done in order to correctly determine the quality of the product.

To understand whether vinegar has turned out, you need to examine the bottom of the bottle. If sediment (mucus or a substance that looks like a jellyfish) is visible at the bottom, it means that the process went smoothly. This turbidity indicates the presence of therapeutic powers in the product - enzymes and probiotics.

Simple Recipes for Making Homemade Apple Cider Vinegar

All products prepared at home will always be of higher quality than store-bought ones. Apple cider vinegar is no exception. The content of nutrients in a product prepared with your own hands is much higher.

Vinegar made without sugar

Almost every recipe begins with the need to prepare raw materials. In this case, we will need sweet apples, preferably overripe ones.

How the process works:

  1. The fruits need to be washed.
  2. Remove the peel, remove the insides.
  3. Cut into large pieces and place them in the open air for a while.
  4. Wait until the slices turn dark, then squeeze them out.
  5. The resulting liquid must be poured into a glass container, the neck of which will allow you to put a rubber medical glove on top (previously make a hole in one of the “fingers” with a needle).
  6. Place the filled container and covered with a glove in a dark place.
  7. Let the bottle sit for about a week. It is necessary to monitor the condition of the glove. If the “tip” is too swollen, you need to pour the fermenting liquid into another container - a wide one, for example, a saucepan.
  8. Place the container in a warm room where there is no light, cover with a cotton cloth. Forget about vinegar for a few months.
  9. As soon as a foggy sediment appears at the bottom, strain the solution (through cheesecloth or a fine sieve) and pour it into bottles. The vinegar is ready. The product should be stored in a cool place.

Apple juice vinegar is prepared in a similar way.

On sugar and cold/hot water

It takes a lot of time to prepare vinegar with the addition of water.

Cold water Hot water
1. We will need
· 3 kg of apples;

· ½ kg of sugar;

· 3 liters of water.

· 2 kg of apples (ripe, overripe and very sweet);

· 100 g sugar;

· hot water according to the situation.

2. Wash the fruit, peel and core it, chop it finely.
3. Place in any container.
4. Fill with water
Please note: unboiled so that the liquid covers the apples 4 cm above (not boiling water)
5. Add sugar, mix
6. Cover with gauze and leave in a dark place.
7. Periodically stir the future vinegar with a wooden spoon until the apples float on the surface. For two weeks, stir the vinegar with a wooden spoon 3 times a day.
8. When the pieces settle to the bottom, leave for 3 months. Sometimes it takes another week for complete cleanliness. Pour the contents into a clean bowl, cover with gauze, close with an elastic band and leave for another 2 weeks.
9. The liquid should become clear and odorless. The finished vinegar needs to be carefully strained and left to stand for a few more days. When the vinegar stops fermenting and becomes lighter, it is poured into bottles, sealed and stored in the dark.

Vinegar is prepared from rejected fruits in the same way as using hot water, only several times more sugar is added - it depends on the variety.

Homemade apple cider vinegar without sugar or yeast

Ingredients:

  • Apples - 5-7 pcs.
  • Jar - 3-liter
  • Water

Cooking method:

1. Wipe the fruits with a cloth, separate from the seeds and cut into medium slices. We do not fill the jar with them completely, just above half.

Tip: It is better to use apples unwashed, so that there are yeast bacteria that will promote better fermentation.

2. Pour water up to the neck. We put nylon on the jar and an elastic band on top. We move it to a warm room for fermentation for 40-50 days.

3. After 50 days, drain the vinegar through a colander, separating the fruits. The liquid turns out cloudy with pulp.

4. Strain the vinegar through solid nylon. Pour into the same unwashed jar. And we remove it again for 20 days.

We pour the resulting vinegar into jars and send it to the place where it will be stored.
