Red fish is always tasty, elegant and healthy. After all, its meat contains valuable protein, a complex of vitamins and microelements, as well as omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which are essential for our body. This product is a must in dietary nutrition and should be present in any diet.

Salmon, salmon, trout, pink salmon, sockeye salmon, chum salmon - each type of fish can be prepared differently. But there are also more universal recipes. We'll talk about them today. Although the images of ready-made dishes show His Majesty salmon, know that in this way you can cook not only it.

To prepare red fish, you do not need to have any special culinary skills. The choice of recipe depends only on your desire to try a new dish, personal preferences and the availability of certain ingredients. Due to the variety of cooking variations, fish can be not only a second course. It is ideal for a healthy breakfast, a hearty lunch and a light dinner.

Salmon with mozzarella and tomatoes

This simple and very tasty dish is prepared very quickly and from a minimal set of ingredients. To bake this fish you will need:

  • Salmon carcass.
  • 100 g mozzarella.
  • 100 g ripe cherry tomatoes.
  • Salt and seasonings.
  • Refined oil.

You need to start preparing this red fish dish by processing the salmon. It is cleaned, washed, dried and rubbed with a mixture of salt and spices. Tomato slices and mozzarella slices are placed inside the carcass. The fish prepared in this way is placed on a baking sheet, sprinkled with refined oil and baked on the grill.

Salad with red fish and tomatoes

The recipe is very simple. All ingredients are crushed and stacked in layers. The salad is perfect for everyday use and for a holiday feast as an original and satisfying snack.

  • 100 grams of salted salmon.
  • 50-60 grams of hard cheese.
  • 4 eggs.
  • 3 ripe tomatoes.
  • 2-3 tablespoons of mayonnaise.
  • Greens for salad decoration.

Cut the fish into small squares.

Chop the tomatoes into cubes.

Grate the cheese.

Greens for decoration are parsley, green onions or dill. Grind and set aside for now.

The ingredients are ready, you can start laying the salad. But before you pack the salad you need to prepare something.

In order for your salad to look beautiful, it is better to place it in a special pastry ring. And if you don’t have it on hand or don’t have it at all, then you can make it yourself.

We take a piece of foil and fold it several times to make a strip 20-25 cm wide. Then roll the strip into a ring and voila, you have a pastry ring ready. Now you can put the ingredients in it.

And so everything fits in the following order.

Layer of fish mayonnaise.

Layer of eggs, mayonnaise.

Top with chopped green onions or parsley sprigs.

Lightly holding the salad, remove the foil or ring. A portion of salad with red fish and tomatoes is ready to serve to your guests.

And why haven’t I made Olivier salad with salmon before? This year I discovered such a recipe for myself, I admit it as a matter of spirit - very tasty and very tender! The classic salad loses, since the sausage is practically not felt in it, but in this one the taste of lightly salted salmon comes first.

If you have the opportunity, then salt the fish flesh at home 3 days before making the salad, being sure to remove all the bones from it. You can also use a store or supermarket to buy slices or slices of salted red fish, especially if you don’t have free time.

Salmon baked with cheese

This is one of the simplest red fish recipes. It produces juicy and flavorful salmon with a spicy sauce and an appetizing crust. To bake this fish you will need:

  • 150 g Russian cheese.
  • 1 kg salmon.
  • Small onion.
  • 100 g mozzarella.
  • 3 cloves of garlic.
  • ½ lemon.
  • 2 tbsp. l. Dijon mustard.
  • 100 g of good mayonnaise.
  • Salt and seasonings.

Washed and dried fish are freed from bones. Place the resulting fillet on a baking sheet lined with a sheet of foil, add some salt, sprinkle with spices and cover with onion rings. The whole thing is topped with a sauce made from crushed garlic, lemon juice, mustard and mayonnaise, and then sprinkled with finely grated cheese. Bake salmon fillet at 200 degrees until an appetizing crust forms.

Trout with potatoes in sour cream sauce

This nutritious and tasty red fish dish is equally suitable for both a regular lunch and a formal feast. To prepare it you will need:

  • 1 kg trout.
  • 250 g not very thick sour cream.
  • 1 kg of potatoes.
  • 350 g of Russian cheese.
  • Small onion.
  • 2 selected eggs.
  • 2 cloves of garlic.
  • 2 tbsp. l. any refined oil.
  • Salt, dill and ground pepper.

Peeled and washed potatoes are cut into thin slices, mixed with seasonings and oil, and then placed on a greased baking sheet and sent to the oven, carefully preheated to 180 degrees. After twenty minutes, the semi-finished vegetable is mixed and covered with onion rings. Place salted and seasoned pieces of fish on top and pour them with a sauce made from beaten eggs, sour cream and chopped garlic. Cover the whole thing with foil and return it to the oven. After half an hour, sprinkle the contents of the baking sheet with cheese shavings and wait for it to brown. Completely cooked fish is decorated with fresh dill.

Salmon with eggplant and tomatoes

This interesting hearty red fish dish can replace a full lunch. To prepare it you will need:

  • 600 g salmon.
  • 500 g potatoes.
  • 4 tomatoes.
  • 4 anchovies.
  • 1 tbsp. l. capers.
  • 5 tbsp. l. low-fat mayonnaise.
  • 2 tbsp. l. olive oils.
  • ½ lemon and salt.

Peeled and washed potatoes are cut into thin slices and boiled until half cooked. It is then spread over the bottom of a greased baking sheet. Lay eggplant slices and tomato slices on top. The whole thing is topped with a mixture of capers, olive oil, chopped anchovies and salt. Cover the filled form with foil and put it in the oven for twenty minutes. At the end of the specified time, place pieces of fish sprinkled with lemon juice on the vegetables and return it all to the oven.

Delicious salad of red fish, cucumbers, egg and avocado

Recipe for a beautiful and satisfying red fish salad with avocado. The uniqueness of this dish lies in the fact that we don’t just add fish, but make delicious mini-rolls out of it.

Despite the volume of such a salad, it will take less time to prepare than to “assemble” the famous Olivier.

Ingredients:

  • Red fish – 200 gr
  • Avocado - 1 piece
  • Quail eggs – 10 pcs
  • Lettuce leaves - to taste
  • Cucumber – 1 pc.
  • Curd cheese - to taste
  • Greens - to taste
  • Soy sauce – 30 g
  • Mustard – 1 tbsp.
  • Olive oil – 50 g
  • Lemon juice – 0.5 tsp.
  • Sugar – 1 tsp.
  • Garlic - 2 cloves

Place quail eggs in boiling water and boil for literally 4 minutes. After draining the boiling water, add cold water to cool.

In the meantime, let's prepare the sauce. To do this, mix soy sauce, mustard, lemon juice, butter, sugar and chopped garlic. Mix all this thoroughly until smooth and set aside - we will season it at the very end of cooking.

We peel the eggs and cut them in half.

Next, take the avocado and remove the pit from it. Cut the pulp into small cubes.

And the last preparation is to roll the rolls. Spread cottage cheese on thin, small pieces of red fish and sprinkle with herbs. Roll along the length.

Now we combine all the ingredients - place the ingredients in a chaotic order on the lettuce leaves and pour the sauce on top of everything. The dish is ready to be served!

Pie with rice and red fish

Not only first or second courses are prepared from salmon, trout and salmon. Red fish makes very aromatic and tasty baked goods. To make a savory homemade pie, you will need:

  • 155 g chilled margarine.
  • 3 tbsp. l. thick sour cream.
  • 2 selected eggs.
  • ¼ tsp. quenched soda.
  • 420 g fillet of any red fish.
  • 1 ¼ cups wheat flour.
  • 4 tbsp. l. boiled rice.
  • 1 tbsp. l. soft butter.
  • 3 tbsp. l. chopped dill.
  • Salt.

Cold margarine is crushed using a grater and combined with soda, flour, sour cream and one egg. The resulting mass is lightly salted and thoroughly kneaded by hand. The finished dough is divided in half. One of the parts is distributed over the bottom of the greased form. The topping is laid out with a filling made from pieces of fish fried with the addition of salt, butter, chopped dill and boiled rice. The future pie is covered with the remaining dough and brushed with beaten egg. Bake the product at 200 degrees until fully cooked.

Recipe for baked red fish, with rice, cheese and vegetables

Ingredients:

  • 500-700 gr. fish,
  • 1 glass of rice,
  • 1 large
  • onion head,
  • 1 large carrot,
  • 1.5 cups grated hard cheese,
  • 2 tbsp. l. sour cream,
  • 3 tbsp. l. mayonnaise,
  • salt,
  • ground black pepper,
  • seasoning for fish,
  • 1 tomato
  • fresh dill.

Preparation:

  1. The red fish was bought in one piece, so I just peeled it, washed it, and salted it.
  2. Boil the rice, add salt and rinse in running water.
  3. Grease a baking dish lightly with butter and place the fish.
  4. Place rice on top of the fish.
  5. Cut the onion into half rings, grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
  6. Add sour cream, mayonnaise.
  7. Gently mix onions, carrots, mayonnaise and sour cream in a separate bowl. Afterwards, place it on a layer of rice.
  8. The next layer will be grated cheese.
  9. Also, for decoration, I cut a tomato into half rings and placed it on top of all the layers.
  10. Bake for 35-40 minutes in a preheated oven. Take out the dish and sprinkle with fresh prepared dill, this will give the fish a special smell. Let it brew for another 15-20 minutes in the oven.

Relatively fast, filling and very tasty food. The fish turns out tender and not dry at all!

Layered pie with potatoes and red fish

These baked goods are prepared using purchased dough, which greatly simplifies and speeds up the process. Therefore, it cannot be ruled out that it will often appear on your table. To prepare this interesting and simple red fish dish, you will need:

  • 520 g yeast puff pastry.
  • 455 g fillet of any red fish.
  • 3 medium potatoes.
  • ½ tsp. granulated sugar.
  • 1 tsp. salt.
  • Egg, butter and spices.

The defrosted dough is divided into two unequal pieces. The larger one is rolled out into a thin layer and placed on the bottom of a greased baking sheet. Potato slices, fish slices and onion rings are distributed in layers on top. All this is salted, covered with pieces of butter and the remaining dough. The top of the future pie is brushed with beaten egg. Bake the product at medium temperature until completely cooked.

Red fish in foil with thyme

Ingredients:

  • 400 g salmon or trout fillet
  • 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh thyme
  • 1 tsp honey
  • salt to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Mix all the ingredients well and generously coat the fish with the resulting mixture.
  2. Place on foil. Pour over the remaining mixture, wrap tightly and place on a baking sheet.
  3. Bake for 15-20 minutes in a preheated oven at 180°C.

Risotto

This exquisite red fish dish will certainly not go unnoticed by lovers of seafood and Italian cuisine. To prepare it you will need:

  • 1 cup arborio rice.
  • 150 g red fish.
  • 50 g parmesan.
  • 30 g butter.
  • 100 ml 20% cream.
  • 2 cloves of garlic.
  • 2 glasses of water or broth.
  • Salt, spices and herbs (basil and parsley).

Garlic is fried in melted butter. After a couple of minutes, chopped herbs and pieces of fish are poured in there. After some time, the whole thing is poured with cream and simmered over low heat. Literally five minutes later, pour the washed and sorted rice into a common container. All this is poured with water or broth, salted, seasoned with aromatic spices and brought to readiness. Shortly before the process is completed, the risotto is sprinkled with grated Parmesan.

Salmon soup

This very interesting Norwegian dish with red fish, a photo of which can be found a little later, is very popular with many experienced housewives. It turns out to be extremely satisfying and aromatic, which means it is suitable for a family dinner. To cook four servings of this soup, you will need:

  • 600 g chilled salmon fillet.
  • 50 g butter.
  • 200 ml dry white wine.
  • 300 ml chicken broth.
  • 200 ml fresh cream.
  • 2 cloves of garlic.
  • Olive oil and rosemary.
  • Salt.

Chopped garlic is fried in a mixture of butter and olive oil with the addition of a couple of sprigs of rosemary. As soon as it becomes transparent, pour wine over it and wait until the alcohol evaporates. Then pieces of fish are added to the same vessel and cooked until they change color. At the next stage, hot broth and salt are added to the pan with the future soup. All this is brought to a boil, infused under the lid and served. Add cream and a few rosemary leaves to each serving.

Layered salad with red fish, cheese and tomatoes. The recipe is short

  1. Let the eggs boil, 4 minutes of boiling is enough for them, then cool in ice water.
  2. homemade Mayonnaise in 5 minutes .
  3. If we prepare the salad in portions and not in a salad bowl, then we place 2 round metal forms on 2 plates or make them out of foil.
  4. Cut tomatoes, red fish and eggs into small cubes, grate Russian cheese on a fine grater, finely chop green onions.
  5. Place half the tomatoes in layers in half on two plates, straight into rings.
  6. Lubricate the tomatoes with homemade Mayonnaise, 0.5 tbsp.
  7. Make layers of half the green onions.
  8. Sprinkle with half the grated cheese - salad with salmon and cheese is especially tasty.
  9. Measure out half the eggs and lay them out in the next layers.
  10. We spread all the red fish in layers of two portions.
  11. Sprinkle with the other half of the green onions, leaving a little for decoration.
  12. Layer the remaining tomatoes.
  13. Lubricate the tomatoes with another spoonful of Mayonnaise.
  14. Place the remaining eggs again in half on two plates.
  15. And sprinkle the last layer with the remaining grated cheese.
  16. Garnish with the remaining green onions and carefully remove the rings.
  17. Salad with salted red fish and cheese and egg is ready, serve!
