There are many dishes that are delicious to eat with sour cream. Fried potatoes or chicken, for example. And if you add garlic to sour cream, it will turn out even tastier.

All you need to do is grate 2 cloves of garlic and mix the resulting pulp with 200 g of sour cream, after adding a pinch of salt and a little herbs.

Creamy garlic sauce

Creamy garlic sauce is rich and varied in taste. The process of preparing it is also simple and can be done even by those who are encountering it for the first time. It can be used as a separate addition to main dishes or as an ingredient for pizza, pasta (pasta) and so on. Ingredients:

  • 50 g butter;
  • 90 g flour;
  • 1.5 tablespoons of olive oil;
  • 3 cups liquid heavy cream;
  • 1 incomplete spoon of broth (vegetable/chicken);
  • 90 g parmesan;
  • 3 tablespoons of chopped garlic;
  • 1 pinch each of salt and ground pepper.

The amount of ingredients is indicated in tablespoons. As a rule, black pepper and salt are added to taste, so it is permissible to deviate from the recipe in one direction or another. The creamy garlic sauce is prepared as follows:

  1. With medium or low heat on the stove, melt the butter and olive oil in a thick-bottomed container while stirring.
  2. Peeled and washed garlic is crushed using a blender, press or mortar.
  3. Three tablespoons of minced garlic are added to the oil mixture and stirred. No need to fry it! It should be brought to softening.
  4. Next, sifted flour is added (gradually in a thin stream and while stirring). Fry for about a minute, without stopping stirring, until thickened and darkened in color.
  5. Warm up the broth and cream (do not bring to a boil!) and mix.
  6. The resulting liquid mixture is carefully poured into the flour fried with fat while stirring. With the stove on medium heat, bring the mixture to a low boil (until the first signs of bubbles appear).
  7. Next, the recipe for creamy garlic sauce involves adding salt, spices and adjusting to taste.
  8. When the mass begins to thicken and bubble, add grated Parmesan. Everything gets mixed up.

The duration of the process described in the last paragraph depends on the desired result: if you only need to melt the cheese, then after bringing it to homogeneity, remove the dish from the stove; if a denser structure is needed, heat treatment continues until the desired state.

Making sour cream and garlic sauce with mayonnaise

The easiest way to make white sauce. It is perfect for toast with tomatoes or sprats.

To prepare you will need:

  • Sour cream 15% - 2 tbsp.
  • Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp.
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Dill - half a bunch
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Pepper - to taste

1. Chop the greens and pour into a bowl. Squeeze the garlic there with a garlic press.

2. Add sour cream, mayonnaise, salt and pepper.

  • 250 ml kefir
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise

As a shawarma fan, I have tried many different ways to prepare the special sauce. And this recipe, in my opinion, is ideal.

Ingredients:

  • Ryazhenka – 100 ml
  • Mayonnaise -100 ml
  • Sour cream – 100 ml
  • Juice of a quarter of a lemon
  • Salt - 0.5 tsp.
  • Sugar - 1 tsp.
  • Khmeli-Suneli, curry - 1/3 tsp.
  • Garlic - 3-5 cloves

The preparation itself is not complicated by any tricks; all the ingredients, along with chopped garlic, need to be combined and thoroughly mixed in one deep bowl.

And you will already have a very tasty sauce.

But leave it in the refrigerator overnight and it will acquire an incredible taste and aroma.

Compound:

  • olive oil – 40 ml;
  • garlic – 7 cloves;
  • butter – 60 g;
  • high fat cream – 0.6 l;
  • wheat flour – 100 g;
  • broth – 30 ml;
  • hard cheese – 100 g;
  • salt, pepper - to taste.

Cooking method:

  • Mix the broth with cream.
  • Finely grate the cheese.
  • Cut the garlic into small pieces, place in a mortar along with salt and pepper, crush them well.
  • Lightly fry the garlic in plenty of olive oil.
  • Melt the butter in a clean frying pan and fry the flour in it.
