Guacamole with avocado and cherry tomatoes

Onions make this sauce piquant and a very interesting combination of flavors. I am sure that many will especially like the mix of creamy pasta and pieces of tomatoes and onions. The dish turns out to be both tender and juicy.

We will need:

  • avocado - 3 pcs.;
  • cherry tomatoes - 4-5 pcs.;
  • onion - 1 pc.;
  • lime - 1 pc.;
  • salt and spices to taste;
  • olive oil - 3 tablespoons.

Preparation:

1. Cut the avocado lengthwise and remove the pit. Using a tablespoon, separate the pulp from the skin. Place it in a bowl, pour in the juice of one lime and puree using a blender.

2. Peel the onion and finely chop it with a knife, then cut the cherry tomatoes.

We send everything to the avocado, add salt, season with oil and mix with a fork.

What to take:

  • chicken eggs – 6 pcs.
  • ripe avocados – 2 pcs.
  • lime or lemon – 1 spoon of juice
  • salt – 1/2 teaspoon
  • yogurt - 1 tbsp. spoon
  • cilantro - a few sprigs
  • hot pepper (chopped well) – ½ pc.
  • onion feathers (chopped) – 2 pcs.

How to cook:

Boil hard-boiled chicken eggs, carefully peel and cut in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and set aside. Place the egg white halves cut side up on a serving plate. Make the filling. Roughly mash the avocado pulp and half the egg yolks in a bowl with a fork. Reserve remaining yolks for another use. Stir citrus juice, yogurt, cilantro, pepper and onion into the avocado puree and add salt. Fill the egg halves with the prepared guacamole. Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves.

Classic lemon (or lime) sauce recipe

In the Mexican version, the recipe must include lime. But if there is none, then you can completely safely replace it with lemon. After all, this citrus is always available in stores, and finding it is not difficult.

  • avocado - 3 pcs.;
  • lemon - 1 pc. (or lime - 2 pcs.);
  • garlic - 1-2 cloves;
  • cilantro - 20 g;
  • olive oil - 100 ml;
  • salt to taste.

Preparation:

Peel the avocado, chop it and put it in a blender. Squeeze lemon juice there, add peeled garlic, cilantro, salt and olive oil. Mix everything until pureed. Place in a gravy boat and decorate the dish to your liking.

  • tomato - 1 pc.;

Preparation:

How to make Guacamole

1. Rinse the tomato, dry on a paper towel and cut into small cubes. Cut out the bones. If you wish, you can also remove the skin. To do this, dip the tomato in boiling water for a couple of minutes, this will make the skin come off easier.

2. Cut the avocado in half, bypassing the pit. Scroll both parts in opposite directions and “open” the fruit. Scoop the pulp onto a plate and press with a fork until smooth.

3. Do the same procedure with the second avocado.

4. Peel and finely chop the onion. I advise you to put water in your mouth and cut.

5. Finely chop the jalapeno or chili pepper. You can use half a pepper, but for those who like it spicier, I advise you to leave the seeds.

6. Place the chopped jalapeno, onion and avocado pulp in a serving bowl.

7. Squeeze lime or lemon juice into a bowl. If the citrus is juicy, then half is enough.

8. Add ground cumin.

9. Salt and pepper to taste.

10. Mix everything well and add the tomatoes. Gently stir again and serve with bread. Bon appetit!

Simple salad dressing instead of mayonnaise

Mayonnaise is quite a rich sauce. Of course, you can do it yourself. But who would have thought that it could be made from avocados? A very healthy and correct option for eating this fruit. This paste can be used to season salads or other dishes where you would normally add mayonnaise.

We will need:

  • avocado - 2 pcs.;
  • lemon - 1 slice;
  • coconut milk or cream - 5 tablespoons;
  • greenery;
  • salt and spices to taste.

Preparation:

1. Place parts of a peeled avocado and a lemon slice without zest and seeds into a blender. Salt and season to taste, pour in coconut milk and whisk everything so that there are no lumps.

2. Finely chop dill or any other greens and add to the sauce. Mix with a spoon and transfer the mixture into a bowl. This paste will be an ideal replacement for mayonnaise.

You will need:

  • avocado fruit – 2 pcs.
  • tomato without peel and seeds – 40 g
  • red onion – 30 g chopped
  • lime (squeeze juice) – 2 pcs.
  • fresh cilantro, chopped – a handful
  • olive oil – 5 ml
  • salt - a pinch

Cooking method:

Squeeze enough lime juice into the finely chopped onions to cover the onions in a deep bowl and leave to marinate for 15-30 minutes - this softens the taste of the raw onions. Add the avocado pulp with salt and season with oil. Use a fork or potato masher to gently mash until smooth. Then add the pulp of finely chopped tomatoes and cilantro, mix well. The result is a light, mild-tasting sauce—serve immediately or refrigerate in an airtight container for an hour.
