2. Well, now, as you probably guessed, gradually add the flour mixture in small portions. Knead soft and elastic dough. Wrap it in a plastic bag and put it in the refrigerator to rest for 2-3 hours.

3. Then roll it out into a large layer approximately 4-5 mm thick. The dough will be quite tight, but at the same time elastic, cut out the figures.

Using regular cocktail straws, make holes in the circles to look like Christmas balls for a Christmas tree.

Place the gingerbread cookies on a baking sheet covered with special paper and bake the gingerbread cookies for 10-12 minutes at 180 degrees, the oven must be preheated.

If you are tired of ordinary sweets and want something more, then the moment has come when you can easily make honey-ginger cookies and feed them to the whole family and more.

We will need:

  • honey - 2 tbsp
  • butter - 70 g
  • sugar - 200 g
  • flour - 280 g
  • soda - 0.5 tsp
  • lemon juice - 1 tbsp
  • chicken egg - 2 pcs and plus one white
  • ginger - 1 tbsp
  • cinnamon - 1 tbsp

Cooking method:

1. Mix butter, honey and sugar in a deep glass bowl. Then melt in a water bath.

2. Next, you need to sift the flour so that it is saturated with oxygen. Mix the baking soda with lemon juice and add to the flour. After this, pour the flour into the liquid honey mixture in parts, mix thoroughly.

  3. A smooth ball is formed from it, wrapped in cling film and placed in the refrigerator. Since the dough turns out too soft, it benefits from exposure to low temperatures; after about an hour it will become more plastic and pliable.
  4. Sprinkle the surface of the table with flour and roll out the dough on it until it turns into an even layer 0.5 cm thick.
  5. Then the cookies are formed, placed on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil, and baked at 200°C for 6-10 minutes.
  6. In the oven the delicacy will turn brown.

Now we’ve reached the most complex recipe, but it’s the one that makes these cookies simply melt in your mouth. True, you will have to tinker a little with the dough. If you have the time and energy, then get to work, but if you don’t want to, then take another option. But this dough is just perfect, it’s really cool and super, it doesn’t tear or crack!

We will need:

  • sugar - 500 g
  • boiling water - 200 ml
  • butter - 200 g
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • ginger - 1 tsp
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • allspice - a pinch
  • cardamom - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 pc.

For icing:

  • protein - 1 pc.
  • powdered sugar - 200 g
  • starch - 0.5 tsp
  • lemon juice - 0.5 tsp
  • dyes

Cooking method:

1. Place a pan on the stove, add sugar and it should melt, you will get caramel. The sugar should turn brown, remember to stir constantly so that nothing burns.

Important! Cook over low heat.

Then, after all the sugar has melted, there should be no crystals or grains, pour a glass of boiling water into it in a thin stream. This will begin to hiss and seethe. Perhaps the mass will rise, so every now and then, remove from the heat, stir and place again.

Next, add the butter and cook until it all melts. After this, add spices and soda, stir.

2. Cool the entire resulting mass, add the egg, then add flour in parts and knead the dough. It should be soft and not stick to your hands, but do not overfill it with flour.

Place in a bag and cool in the refrigerator for 4 hours.

4. Beat the egg whites at low speed with a mixer, then gradually add powdered sugar, and finally starch and lemon juice. After this, divide into bowls to add the desired dyes.
