Ingredients for the dough:
- egg - 1 pc.;
- dry yeast - 1 pack;
- milk - 0.5 l;
- flour - 2-2.5 tbsp;
- salt - 1/2 tsp;
- sugar - 1 tbsp. l.;
- sunflower oil - 1 tbsp. l.
Pie filling:
- fresh white cabbage - 500 g;
- meat (beef or pork) - 300 g;
- oil - 2 tbsp. l.;
- onion - 1 small head;
- salt;
- pepper.
Preparation:
- Heat the milk slightly (up to 35 degrees), dissolve salt and sugar in it, add 1/4 of the flour and yeast. Stir and leave for 10-15 minutes.
- When the dough foams, beat in the egg, add the remaining flour, and knead the dough with your hands. Grease it with oil, put it in a pan, and leave it to rise. Knead the dough twice, and when it rises a third time, start using it (you will get softer and airier baked goods).
- Twist the meat with onions, fry, adding a little salt and pepper.
- Chop the head of cabbage, fry until tender, add salt.
- Mix all filling ingredients.
- Cut the dough into two pieces, one should be a little larger, it will go to the bottom. Roll out these parts, place the first one on the bottom of the baking sheet, leaving sides along the walls.
- Place the filling, cover with a second sheet of dough, seal the edges.
- Bake at 190 degrees for 30 minutes.
Place the finished pie on a wooden surface covered with a towel, grease the top and sides with butter (this will make the crust softer and more rosy), cover with a bag for 5 minutes. Don't over-expose, otherwise it will get damp! After removing the bag, you can cover the cake with gauze or a cotton towel.
Open yeast cake "Honeycomb"
The dough for this pie is ordinary, but the molding is original; it turns out to be an open pie of a non-standard shape. Let's cook it with sauerkraut.
Dough:
- 300 ml warm water or milk;
- 1 teaspoon dry yeast;
- 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise;
- 3 eggs;
- 1.5 tablespoons of sugar;
- 800 gr. flour (the amount is indicated approximately, you may need a little more or a little less);
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil;
- 1 teaspoon salt.
Filling:
- 250 gr. minced meat;
- 400 gr. sauerkraut;
- 2 carrots;
- 4-5 tablespoons of vegetable oil;
- 1 onion;
- 1 teaspoon sugar;
- spices to taste.
Dissolve yeast and sugar in half the amount of warm water and set aside. After ten to fifteen minutes, you can prepare the dough when the yeast rises into a lush foam.
Mix activated yeast with the second half of water, lightly beaten eggs and mayonnaise. Add salt. Then we begin to gradually add flour. When the mass becomes viscous, add vegetable oil and mix. Add more flour and knead. You should have a soft dough that no longer sticks to surfaces. Let the dough sit for an hour and a half so that it rises well.
Let's prepare the filling. Fry finely chopped onion in oil, add grated carrots, then add minced meat. Stirring, bring the meat until cooked. Add squeezed sauerkraut, season with sugar and spices to taste. Let cool.
Roll out a layer of dough 0.5 cm thick. Use a cutout or a glass to cut out circles with a diameter of 7-8 cm. Place a spoonful of filling on each circle and pinch the ends on two opposite edges. It looks like an open pie. Grease a round or square pan with oil. We lay out the prepared pieces close to each other, completely filling the entire surface of the dish. Place the rows in a checkerboard pattern so that the surface of the cake becomes like a honeycomb. Let the cake stand for about fifteen minutes, prepare the baked goods in the oven at 180 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
Layered pie with cabbage and minced meat
To prepare a layer cake, you can also make the dough yourself, but it will take a lot of time (up to 3-4 hours). It’s better to buy a ready-made base; it won’t be bad, since it’s almost impossible to spoil puff pastry. Let's prepare a layer pie from cabbage and minced meat in the oven, it will come out very tasty, crumbly, melting in your mouth.
Compound:
- puff pastry - 500 g;
- fresh white cabbage - 500 g;
- meat - 200 g;

Ingredients:
- 500 grams of ready-made pizza base;
- half a head of white cabbage;
- 200 grams of bacon;
- 350 grams of minced meat;
- 5 pieces of boiled potatoes;

- salt, pepper, vegetable oil.
Preparation:

Ready-made puff pastry is a real lifesaver for preparing delicious and quick baked goods. Let's prepare a delicious “tear-off” puff pastry pie with two types of fillings – cabbage with mushrooms and meat.
- 500 gr. unleavened puff pastry;
- 150 gr. cabbage;
- 2 onions;
- 1 carrot;
- 150 gr. champignons;
- 300 gr. minced meat;
- vegetable oil for frying;
- salt and spices to taste;
- 1 yolk for lubrication.
Defrost the dough, roll it out and divide it into eight equal squares. We prepare two fillings.
First - fry one onion, cut into small pieces, with the addition of grated carrots. Then put the champignons, cut into slices, and shredded cabbage into the same frying pan. Salt and add spices to taste. Cook until the vegetables are soft and excess liquid has evaporated.
The second filling consists of minced meat fried with onions. Season the minced meat with pepper and salt.
Place the cabbage filling on four prepared dough squares and the meat filling on four. We fasten each square with an envelope and pinch it tightly. Step-by-step preparation:
- Melt the butter without bringing it to a boil. Then pour into a deep bowl and let cool.
- Beat in the eggs, add salt and baking powder, flour, stir, knead the dough. It should not stick to the skin, the consistency is thick and oily. Place in the refrigerator, covered with film, for 20 minutes.
- Fry the cabbage.
- Simmer minced meat and onions in a frying pan. Combine with cabbage, lightly salt and pepper.
