Hi all. I come to you today with the promised cookie recipe, which is ideal for the little ones. You won’t find margarine or eggs in the composition, and there is only a minimal amount of sugar. Besides all this, these cookies can be prepared with the kids. I recommend purchasing special cookie cutters, as I am planning a number of articles of this kind.

To be honest, it took me a long time to choose the recipe for cottage cheese cookies. There are so many of them that it makes your eyes wide open. And then I decided that I would make a series of publications with several options, and you yourself will choose the one that is more suitable for yourself.

And I’ll start with this recipe, the simplest in terms of preparation and composition. I would like to note that some may not find these cookies sweet, so you can add more sugar for yourself.

So, how to make cottage cheese cookies for children, recipe step by step with photos.

Ingredients:

  1. 200 g cottage cheese
  2. 150 g butter
  3. 250 g flour
  4. 100 g sugar

Preparation:

Since the cookies are cottage cheese, cottage cheese is the most important component on which the final taste depends. It's best to use the fattest cottage cheese you can find. The ideal option is homemade or 18%. Unfortunately, I can’t always find such options, then I buy 9%, which can certainly be found in any supermarket.

Naturally, I won’t talk much about the quality of the oil; it’s the best for children. By the way, margarine is prohibited in my house; I have an extremely negative attitude towards such products and do not advise you to eat them. I always buy butter with 82.5% or 72.5% fat content.

Let's start cooking. It is better to additionally cool the butter in the freezer, 30-40 minutes is enough (of course, before that it should be in the refrigerator). The process of preparing the dough is the same as for Napoleon cake; we need to grate well-chilled butter on a coarse grater, grinding it with flour.

There is no need to knead the dough too much; let some pieces of butter remain.

Next, add sugar to our dough.

And pass the cottage cheese through a sieve. You can beat the curd with an immersion blender if you don’t have a sieve. It is important for us to get rid of lumps.

Knead the dough, do it quickly. We just need to collect it into a ball.

Place in the refrigerator, after wrapping it in film. It is best to leave our dough overnight; if there is no time, then it is better to keep it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or half an hour in the freezer.

Next, let's get it. Roll out on a floured surface. You need to roll it out thinly, up to 3-5 millimeters.

  • two glasses of flour.

Preparation:

  1. First, mix the butter with flour and baking powder so that these products form crumbs.
  2. Now add cottage cheese to the resulting mass and bring everything to an elastic state.
  3. From the resulting lump, make a layer no more than half a centimeter thick. Cut it into small circles.
  4. The circles need to be coated with sugar, rolled, then done again.
  5. Place in an oven preheated to 190 degrees for about 20 minutes until a beautiful yellow color appears.

Kisses

Kisses cookies are another interpretation of the recipe.

Required Products:

  • half a small spoon of soda;
  • a glass of sugar;
  • about two glasses of flour;
  • about 300 grams of cottage cheese;
  • a large stick of butter.

Preparation:

  1. Wait until the butter warms up a little and becomes soft. Mix it with cottage cheese so that you get a mass of small pieces.
  2. Now add flour and baking soda. This should form an elastic lump.
  3. Turn it into a layer, make circles out of it.

If you take less fat, the taste will no longer be so rich. Mix butter with cottage cheese. You can mash them well with a fork.
  2. To the resulting mixture add flour, previously combined with soda. Bring everything to a homogeneous mass.
  3. Roll it out and cut it into circles. In a separate bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon and dip the cut out shapes in this mixture and roll them up. We do this several more times until we get a triangle. Cook in an already hot oven for about 25 minutes.
