Hello! Today I will tell you how to prepare delicious steamed cheesecakes in a slow cooker. Basically, cheesecakes are fried in vegetable oil until golden brown. But for dietary or baby food, the most delicate cheesecakes can be steamed. And in this case, a multicooker comes to the rescue.
To make the mass thick, it is recommended to use cottage cheese that is not too wet. The fermented milk product should be soft, but not wet due to the presence of a large amount of whey. Sugar is added to the main mass to taste; you can sprinkle powdered sugar or serve ready-made cheesecakes with honey. Flour is added in such quantity to obtain a thick consistency, but at the same time it will be sticky. Cheesecakes must be made with wet hands, then the curd mass will not stick.
The multicooker needs to be prepared, namely, pour a small amount of water into the pan. In order for the cheesecakes to be easily removed from the grill, you need to grease it with vegetable oil. The process of preparing soft and flavorful cheesecakes lasts no more than 20 minutes. Cheesecakes are best served warm, perhaps with jam or cream.
Recipe 1: steamed cheesecakes stuffed with fruit
These are not cheesecakes, these are real cheesecake desserts! And since now is the season for fresh fruit, I make cheesecakes with fillings - plum, pear, nectarine, grapes - you choose. And when there is no fruit, you can add a piece of chocolate or a spoonful of nut butter - after all, everyone loves surprises!
- Cottage cheese – 300 g
- Chicken egg - 1 pc.
- Semolina - 3 tbsp. l.
- Sugar - 3 tbsp. l.
- Turmeric – 1 pinch
Mix cottage cheese with egg, semolina, sugar and a pinch of turmeric to give it a pleasant yellow color. While the semolina swells, let’s get to the fruit.
Wash the nectarines, cut them and remove the seeds. Today I have small nectarines, I cut them in half, and if they are large, then feel free to divide them into 4 parts.
Place fruit on part of the curd mass and cover with the second part. From the amount of cottage cheese I received, I made 6 cheesecakes.
In a multicooker, boil water or pour boiling water and place a wire rack.
Let's put some cheesecakes. Close the lid and cook for 15 minutes in the “Steaming” or “Baking” mode; if you do not have these programs, then the “Porridge” mode will do.
Sprinkle the cheesecakes with powdered sugar and garnish with mint, tarragon or lemon balm. If you cook without fruit filling, you can serve jam, sour cream, and honey with the cheesecakes.
A treat for those with a sweet tooth
Both adults and children love cheesecakes. Such a treat can be prepared very quickly even from leftover curd mass. Before the appearance of multicookers in our kitchens, cheesecakes were mainly fried in refined vegetable oil in a frying pan. Proponents of proper nutrition preferred cooking dessert in a double boiler.
Today you can prepare delicious cheesecakes in the Redmond multicooker. In a multi-cooker container in the “Baking” mode, cheesecakes can be fried until an appetizing golden crust. If you want to reduce the calorie content of such a dish, then steam it.
On a note! It is recommended to serve cheesecakes with sour cream, whipped cream, sweet syrup or condensed milk.
Compound:
- 0.2 kg cottage cheese;
- 1 chicken egg;
- 1 tbsp. l. sour cream with any percentage of fat content;
- 2 ½ tbsp. l. granulated sugar;
- 1 tbsp. l. semolina;
- vanilla to taste;
- 2 tbsp. l. premium wheat flour.
Preparation:
- We start by preparing the ingredients indicated in the recipe. Choose cottage cheese with an average percentage of fat content. If the curd mass is too wet, place it in a piece of gauze and squeeze it thoroughly.
- Place cottage cheese in a deep bowl.
- Grind the cottage cheese, breaking up large lumps so that the mass acquires a homogeneous consistency.
- Add a chicken egg.
- Add semolina and granulated sugar.
- Add sour cream with any percentage of fat content and vanilla for flavor. Instead of powder, you can use crystalline vanillin or essence.
- To make the cheesecakes tender, all ingredients must be ground using an immersion blender.
- In just a couple of minutes we will have a mass of homogeneous consistency.
- Leave the curd mixture aside for a while. Let the semolina swell a little.
- After a quarter of an hour, add sifted premium wheat flour to the cheese dough. Mix everything well again. Make sure there are no lumps.
- Pour refined sunflower seed oil into a multicooker bowl.
- Activate the “Frying” cooking program and select the type of product – vegetables. The timer will be set by default.
- Wait a few minutes for the oil to warm up. Then spoon small cheesecakes onto the bottom of the multicooker bowl.
- After two minutes, turn the cheesecakes over. We use only a silicone spatula so as not to scratch the coating of the multicooker bowl.
- To ensure that the cheesecakes are thoroughly fried inside, close the lid of the kitchen gadget.
- After 2-3 minutes, remove the cheesecakes from the multicooker bowl and place them on a plate with a paper towel or napkin on top.
- When the excess vegetable oil is absorbed, transfer the cheesecakes to a dish and serve with sour cream.

Cooking from cottage cheese in a double boiler
Even novice housewives can prepare cottage cheese pancakes in a double boiler. The main thing is to follow the basic rule: the cottage cheese for such cheesecakes should be rather dry.
If you use a product with a high moisture content, there is a risk of getting a shapeless mass at the end of cooking.
Ingredients:
- cottage cheese – 600 g;
- vegetable oil – 1 tbsp. l;
- eggs – 2-3 pcs.;
- sugar – 3 tbsp. l;
- vanilla sugar – 3 g.
The method for preparing such cheesecakes is quite simple:
- Take a large container, place the cottage cheese there and use a fork to mash well.
- Add sifted flour and other ingredients to the cottage cheese, mix well.
- Prepare the steamer: pour water into the lower bowl, grease the upper bowl with oil.
- Form the curds by hand or using a spoon and place them in a bowl, keeping a small distance.
- After 25 minutes, place the finished cheesecakes on a dish, cool and serve.
Before serving, they can be sprinkled with ground cinnamon to add a spicy taste and aroma.
Recipe 4, step by step: steamed diet cheesecakes
Dietary cheesecakes made from steamed cottage cheese with raisins according to Dukan made from dough without flour and without butter, with pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds and raisins are very tasty. Flatbreads similar to these are made in India, but they usually use yogurt instead of cottage cheese. Ground cinnamon gives the dish a unique aroma, and turmeric gives it an appetizing color.
Try making cheesecakes according to this recipe with photos and you will never fry them again! Agree, why add extra fats and carcinogens to your diet if you can do without it.
- cottage cheese – 200 gr.;
- egg – 1 pc.;
- corn flour – 50 gr.;
- corn starch – 25 g;
- soda – 3 gr.;
- raisins – 30 gr.;
- sugar substitute – 2 tablets;
- turmeric – 3 gr.;
- ground cinnamon – 3 gr.;
- pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds – 10 g;
- sesame seeds – 15 gr.
Take a deep bowl, put a pack of low-fat cottage cheese in it, knead it with a fork. To make the dough smooth and without grains, the cottage cheese can be rubbed through a sieve.
Soak the raisins for 10-15 minutes in warm water, rinse thoroughly, place on a sieve, dry on napkins and add to the cottage cheese.
Fry the peeled pumpkin and sunflower seeds until golden brown in a dry frying pan, followed by the raisins.
Add cornflour, starch, baking soda and crushed sugar substitute tablets. You can also add a small pinch of salt to balance the flavors.
Break a raw chicken egg into a bowl and mix the ingredients thoroughly.
Then add ground turmeric and ground cinnamon. Knead the dough again and leave for 5-6 minutes.
Spray the steamer grate with refined vegetable oil. From the dough we form round cakes 1.5-2 centimeters thick. Place the flatbreads on the wire rack so that there is empty space between them.
Steam for 10 minutes, since soda is added to the dough, the products will increase in size.
Fry white sesame seeds in a dry frying pan until golden brown, sprinkle on the finished dish.
We serve dietary cheesecakes made from steamed cottage cheese with raisins according to Dukan with jam or jam.
Cheesecakes in a slow cooker
In the morning you want to cook something simple but tasty that will give you a boost of energy for the whole day. One of these dishes is cheesecakes. You can also serve them as dinner for your kids. Further in the article we will talk about what cheesecakes are in a slow cooker and how to prepare various versions of this simple dish.
Cheese pancakes in a slow cooker are a kind of “cutlets” made from cottage cheese mixed with egg and flour. In some cases, flour is replaced with semolina, which makes them more filling, or with oat flakes (whole or crushed), then the curds turn out to be dietary.
In general, cheesecakes in a slow cooker are a great way to instill in your child a love of cottage cheese or simply treat yourself to something tasty. Cheese pancakes can be topped with honey, jam, condensed milk or sour cream.
Final tips
To make the dish even more delicious, it is recommended:
- Use products at room temperature.
- First sift the flour through a sieve.
- Grind through a sieve and mass.
- During the cooking process, try to achieve as uniform a consistency as possible, but do not turn the cottage cheese into a liquid substance.
I am Mikhail, the owner of this site. I love to cook, and I have the appropriate education as a food industry technologist (more detailed information here). True, I work in a different field, but I enjoy doing what I love in my free time. Everyone at home likes it, especially my wife))) I’ve also been a vegetarian for several years, which is why there are so many eggless cottage cheese recipes on the site.
Cottage cheese: how to cook and what to eat with?
Cheese pancakes or cottage cheese pancakes are prepared from curd mass or granular cottage cheese. In any case, the mass must be crushed using a sieve. Lumps are not aesthetically pleasing, and they will not reflect well on the taste of the dish. The cottage cheese must be dry, so it is first wrapped in gauze and hung.
But then it’s a matter of taste. Traditional cheesecakes made from steamed cottage cheese in a slow cooker are prepared with the addition of eggs, granulated sugar and sifted flour. But before you get started, here are a few things to consider:
- an excess of granulated sugar and eggs is bad, because the cheesecakes will fall apart and become loose;
- flour can be safely replaced with semolina;
- If you want the cheesecakes to have a crispy crust, roll them in breadcrumbs before heat treatment;
- if you like sweets, it’s good for your health, but don’t overdo it with sugar; it’s better to serve cheesecakes with syrup, condensed milk or honey;
- Grease the multicooker grate with oil and pour water into the container.
If you want to make unusual cheesecakes, add dried fruits and candied fruits to the dough. You can use fresh berries and fruits, but they must first be thoroughly washed and chopped.
Reducing the moisture content of cottage cheese by using flour is the wrong decision. Yes, the curds will not disintegrate, but they will turn out very tight and hard. As they say, at least hit the road.

Recipe for those on a diet

- poppy – 100 g;
- wheat flour (whole grain) – 100 g;

- Place the remaining ingredients in a deep bowl, add poppy seeds, egg whites and knead the dough thoroughly. To achieve a better result, you can knead with your hands.

Preparation
Place cottage cheese in a bowl. Take soft, non-acidic cottage cheese: it will grind better, and products made from it will turn out tastier. Add egg, sugar and salt.
Using an immersion blender, grind the mass well, making it homogeneous. If there is no such unit, then thoroughly rub the mixture with a spoon.
Add cornmeal, baking powder and vanilla.
Stir.
Prepare steamer containers. Lubricate them from the inside with oil. With lightly oiled hands, form small round thick cheesecakes. Place them in the basket at a distance from each other. Keep in mind that during cooking they will rise well and expand in width.
Pour water into the tank, place the containers one on top of the other. Close the lid. Set the time to 25 minutes.
When the beep sounds, open the lid.
Carefully remove the cheesecakes onto a flat plate. Serve warm with sour cream.
Steamed cheesecakes
Bon appetit!
For children's diet
Not every baby loves cottage cheese. Often, when trying to feed them, children begin to spit, throw food on the floor and resist in every possible way. This does not bring pleasure to either mothers or babies. In this case, cheesecakes can be a good solution. And steamed products are also useful for digestion.
- cottage cheese – 0.5 kg;
- egg – 1 pc.;
- sugar – 25 g;
- flour – 1⁄2 cup;
- berries - about a glass.
If there are no fresh berries, you can take any frozen ones that your child likes or replace the berries with dried fruits. If your baby is prone to allergies, you can avoid any additives by simplifying the recipe to the classic version.
Preparation:
- Combine all ingredients, except berries, in a large bowl, mix well, leaving no lumps in the dough.
- Grease silicone molds with oil, place berries or dried fruits and curd mass on the bottom.
- Pour water into the multicooker bowl to the required level, place the steamer container on top.
- Place the molds with curds on a sieve and set the time to 15 minutes on the “Steam” mode.
- Remove the finished cheesecakes from the molds and place on a plate.
It is better to serve with yogurt, honey, sour cream, depending on what the child likes.
