  • One large tomato.
  • One medium onion.
  • Lettuce leaves.
  • Special burger bun.
  • Salt.
  • Pepper.

But you'll have to tinker with the sauce. For it we will need:

  • One chicken egg.
  • A teaspoon of mustard.
  • Vegetable oil – 60 ml.
  • Lemon juice - 10 ml.
  • BBQ sauce - 2 large spoons.

And, of course, spices - ground black pepper, paprika and dried garlic.

How to cook

Let's start with the cutlet.

Place minced meat in a bowl. Salt and pepper, mix well.

Form a cutlet with your hands. We make it neat and larger in size than the bun, since during the frying process its size will noticeably decrease.

Heat the pan well and fry on each side for 4 minutes.


The complete process of preparing a burger patty

When the cutlet is ready, you can start making the sauce. Let's make it as similar as possible to the one served at McDonald's. And by the way, we will definitely need an immersion blender.

Beat one egg into a blender bowl.

Add a teaspoon of mustard.

Pour in 30 ml of vegetable oil.

Let's start whisking. After a minute from the start of this process, pour in another 30 ml of oil.

Pour in half a teaspoon of paprika, a quarter of a teaspoon of dried garlic, a pinch of ground black pepper, a teaspoon of lemon juice, and 2 large spoons of barbecue sauce. And again, whisk everything thoroughly.

When the sauce is ready, proceed to the buns. Everything is simple with them - you just need to fry them on the inside in a frying pan with or without oil - your choice. This must be done so that our homemade Big Tasty does not soften in the future.

The restaurant uses ground meat in its hamburgers. For home cooking, it is better to take 500 grams, this is enough for 5 cutlets. Or take fresh meat and mix the base yourself.

What you will need:

  • beef meat - 0.5 kg.
  • breadcrumbs - 4-5 tbsp. l.
  • 1 chicken egg
  • cumin, oregano and coriander - 1 tsp each.

Algorithm of actions:

Rinse the meat well and grind it through a meat grinder. Then mix all the spices, crackers and egg. The resulting minced meat is divided into even balls, which are flattened to form round cakes. Then they should be fried for 10 minutes on each side.

What you will need:

  • 200 g minced beef.
  • 2 slices of processed cheese (Cheddar is best).
  • The tomato is not too big.
  • Onion head.
  • Pickled cucumbers.
  • Lettuce leaves.
  • Burger bun.
  • Salt.
  • Ground black pepper.
  • Ketchup (Heinz is best).
  • Mustard sauce (also Heinz).

The sauce here will consist of other ingredients. By the way, we will cook it first.

  • Mayonnaise – 3 large spoons.

How to cook the "Classic American Burger"

Add salt, pepper, 2/3 of a finely chopped onion, chopped garlic and yolk to the ground beef. Mix thoroughly.

Divide the minced meat into 4-5 parts and form each into a flat round cutlet. Make a small indentation in the middle with your thumb.

Place the cutlets on a flat plate and place in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.

Now let’s fry the burger patties well in vegetable oil until cooked. Can be baked in the oven at 180 degrees or grilled.

Cut the burger buns in half and toast on the grill, in a dry frying pan or in a toaster.

Grease one half of the bun with ketchup, and the other with mustard or mustard sauce.
