Boil peeled potatoes, cut into cubes, adding salt, halved garlic cloves and bay leaves. Season hot potatoes with oil and chopped onions.

Heat the frying pan, place pieces of chicken liver in one row and fry for two minutes on each side. There is no need to fry the liver for a long time, it will become tough. How successful your baking will be depends on the dough. You can buy it ready-made in the store, or prepare it yourself. Just defrost the finished dough, roll it out, cut it and form into pies.

If you want to make the dough yourself, you will have to be patient. The dough itself prepares quickly. Knead it in lightly salted water. It should be pretty cool. It is then rolled out as thin as possible. Pieces of soft margarine or butter are laid out around the entire perimeter. The dough is folded into an envelope and rolled out again. The procedure is repeated two to three times. Then the dough is folded and sent to the refrigerator.

The meat for the filling can be anything. It is ground into minced meat or cut into small pieces. The onion is chopped as thin as possible and added to the meat. Season everything with spices, salt and mix. For variety, vegetables, herbs or rice are added to the minced meat.

The dough is rolled out, cut into portions, the meat filling is placed in the center and a pie is formed. Bake in the oven until done.

With the addition of canned fish

If you need to make a quick fish pie, it is better to make the filling from boiled potatoes with canned fish. You can cook baked goods with saury, tuna and any other canned fish. It is better to use canned food in its own juice or with the addition of oil.

  • 500 gr. yeast puff pastry;
  • 2 potatoes;
  • 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise;
  • 1 egg;
  • several sprigs of parsley;
  • 2 cans of canned fish;
  • 1 tablespoon flour;

Peel the boiled potatoes in their skins and cut them into circles or slices, add salt and pepper. Remove the canned fish from the jar (without liquid) and knead. Finely chop the parsley.

Separate two thirds from the dough layer, roll it into a layer and place it on a baking sheet with sides. Lubricate the surface of the dough with mayonnaise. Lay out potato mugs in even rows and sprinkle with herbs. Next, add the chopped fish. Cut a little bit of the remaining piece of dough (it will be needed for decoration).

  • Puff pastry (yeast-free) - 1 kilogram.
  • Sesame seeds - for decoration.
  • Chicken fillet - 1 kilogram.
  • Potatoes - 5-6 pieces.
  • Butter - 100 grams.
  • Onions - 2 pieces.
  • Freshly ground pepper - to taste.
  • Salt - to taste.

Since our dough is purchased and ready-made, you can start with the filling first. To do this, take the chicken fillet and rinse it thoroughly under water, then dry it and cut it into small cubes using a knife. After which the pieces can be placed in separate dishes and further processes can be carried out.

The onion is peeled and also, using a knife, very finely chopped. The potatoes are peeled and cut into pieces that can be used in this pie either in small cubes or in thin strips.

In the container in which the prepared meat is located, you need to put chopped onions and potatoes, then cut the butter into small cubes, also placing it in a bowl, and add four tablespoons of water. After that, salt and pepper everything to taste, then mix thoroughly.

The defrosted puff pastry must be rolled out on a surface sprinkled with flour into a layer 2-4 millimeters thick. Then we cut it into arbitrary rectangles. The cut dough should be placed in a mold pre-greased with vegetable oil, and the walls and bottom should be covered so that the edges of the dough hang down.

The filling is laid out on top in an even layer. Next, the edges of the dough are folded over the filling and everything else is covered with the remaining chopped pieces. The top layer of the pie is brushed with egg and sprinkled with sesame seeds. After which the cake is ready to bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 50 minutes. You can check the readiness of the pie using a skewer or toothpick.

Snail pie

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg puff pastry dough;
  • 650 g minced meat;
  • 100 g rice;
  • 2 pcs. Luke;
  • 1 PC. eggs;
  • salt and black pepper to taste;
  • sunflower oil.

Preparation.

The onions are peeled, washed in cool water, and then ground to a mushy state in a blender or passed through a meat grinder. The chopped onion is transferred to the minced meat, salt and pepper to taste, and mixed until smooth.

The rice is washed until transparent under running water, then poured with cold water in the proportion of 100 g of rice to 200 ml of water, salted to taste and cooked over low heat with the lid closed until fully cooked, without stirring it during cooking or opening the lid.

As soon as the cereal is ready, let it cool to room temperature, then transfer it to the meat filling and add finely chopped green onions, parsley, spices and salt to taste.

Roll out the dough thinly, placing the filling on the edge in a row. The layer is rolled up, pinching the edges. The snail is formed and transferred to a mold greased with butter, laying the tubes one after another, starting from the center and increasing the spiral to the edges. The snail is covered with a towel on top and allowed to rise a little, after which it is brushed with beaten egg and baked in a preheated oven at 180 °C until golden brown.

First, I prepared all the ingredients for grinding through a meat grinder - both types of meat and onions. I rinsed them with cool water and cut them into manageable pieces.

I turned the pork, beef and onions through a meat grinder.

I ground a mixture of peppers to the minced meat and added salt. I also sent the egg white here, and left the yolk for lubrication.

Mix thoroughly until the ingredients are combined into a homogeneous mass.

To prepare puff pastry puffs with meat, I took the dough out of the freezer in advance and let it lie under a towel for about 40 minutes. Then I rolled it out into a thinner rectangular layer.

Cut it into 4 rectangles crosswise. Then I cut each of them diagonally, so I got 8 triangles.

I divided the minced meat into 8 approximately equal parts and rolled them into a ball like meatballs. I laid them out on the dough, approximately in the center of the triangles.

I placed the resulting envelopes on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil and water. I brushed the top of the puff pastry with a little beaten yolk with a couple of drops of water.

As in the case of meat puffs with bell pepper, first preheated the oven to 220 degrees. I sent a baking sheet there. After 15 minutes, I lowered the setting to 170'C and finished baking the puff pastries at this temperature for another 15 minutes.

First of all, let's prepare the filling. To do this we need to boil the peeled potatoes. Then cut it into cubes and place it in a separate deep container. Peel the onion, chop it finely and fry it with bacon until golden brown, then add the mushrooms and peppers to the frying pan until all the liquid has evaporated, 5 minutes before readiness, add salt and pepper until done. Remove the contents of the pan from the heat and cool to room temperature.

Eggs are beaten into the minced meat, Tabasco sauce is added, seasoned with spices and salt to taste, then mixed until smooth and the contents of the frying pan are transferred here.

The dough is divided into two halves. One piece should be slightly smaller than the other. Most of it is rolled out thinly and placed in a greased pan so that the edges extend beyond the sides. Then put all the filling on the pie and cover with the second rolled out layer, pinch the edges. Top with cream and sprinkle with ground black pepper. We lay out the filling strictly in the center, 7-8 cm away from the edges. We make parallel cuts at an angle of forty-five degrees, the width of the strips is 3-4 cm. We alternately place the strips on the filling on the left and right sides, forming a braid. Cook the pie at 180 degrees in the oven for approximately fifty minutes.

You can bake a layer pie with potatoes not only in the oven, but also in a slow cooker. Let's prepare baked goods from unleavened dough stuffed with potatoes, bell peppers and ham.

  • 250 gr. unleavened puff pastry;
  • 150 gr. ham;
  • 5 medium potatoes;
  • 1 onion;
  • 1 bell pepper, preferably red;
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil.

Cut the onion into quarters of rings or even smaller ones, fry it in a frying pan or in a slow cooker on the “frying” program, adding two tablespoons of vegetable oil. Cut the peeled potatoes into thin slices and add some salt. Pepper and ham - in small strips.

Roll out the dough and cut out two circles from it. It is convenient to cut out one (this will be the top of the pie), using a steaming basket as a template. The second one should be of a larger diameter so that sides can be made.

So that you can then carefully remove the cake from the bowl, place two strips of parchment paper in it, placing them crosswise. We place a circle of larger diameter in the thicket on laid strips of paper and distribute the dough, forming the sides. We lay out a layer of potatoes mixed with onions and the oil in which they were fried, and then a layer of ham mixed with pepper. Cover with a circle of smaller diameter and pinch.

Bake for forty minutes
