Take:

  • Chicken breast fillet – 500 gr.
  • Flour – 130 gr.
  • Soy sauce - large spoon.
  • Ketchup - the same amount.
  • Egg.
  • Kefir – 100 ml.
  • Sunflower oil – 400 ml.
  • Oregano, ground ginger, red pepper - a small spoon each.
  • Sweet paprika, black pepper - ½ small spoon each.
  • Dried garlic – 2 teaspoons.

Step by step recipe:

Rinse the chicken fillet and pat dry slightly with a paper towel. Cut into strips no more than 1 centimeter thick.

Break an egg into a bowl and whisk with a whisk.

Pour in kefir and soy sauce and mix again.

Season the sauce with tomato ketchup, a spoonful of garlic, ginger, hot red chili, and salt the marinade. Whisk the mixture into a smooth sauce.

Transfer the fillet cuts to the bowl with the sauce.

Stir until the pieces are completely covered with the marinade. Cover the container with cling film. Leave to marinate for 30 minutes, placing on the refrigerator shelf.

To bread the strips, mix flour with black pepper, 0.5 tablespoons of salt, a second spoon of dried garlic, oregano, and paprika in a bowl.

Pour oil into the frying pan (there should be a lot of it, it will become deep-fried). Heat it until it smokes lightly. Roll the strips in flour breading and place in boiling oil.

Fry without reducing the heat until a beautiful golden crust appears. Do not leave the stove, constantly turn the semi-finished products so that the strips are fried evenly. Total frying time is 2 minutes.

To get rid of excess oil, and therefore reduce the calorie content of the dish, first place the fried strips on a paper napkin. Afterwards, when some of the fat is absorbed, transfer to a plate.

  • 6 chicken breasts;

Preparation

And so let's start with amazingly delicious chicken strips, which we will not fry in oil as usual, but bake in the oven. I know that many will be surprised now, but there is such a way. It is also often practiced in cooking, especially by those who do not want to gain extra calories. And we will prepare such strips with corn flakes. Thanks to them, our yummy food will not only look appetizing. But it will also be covered with a golden crust, which will crunch like in FSC.

Ingredients:

For the sauce:

  • Water 50 ml.
  • Sugar 100 gr.
  • Rice vinegar 50-60 ml.
  • Chili pepper 1 pc.
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Tomato paste 1 tbsp. l.
  • Potato starch 0.5 tbsp. l.
  • Salt 2 pinches

For strips:

  • Chicken breasts 2 pcs. (each approximately 400-500 grams)
  • Black pepper, salt to taste

For breading:

  • Corn flakes 150-200 gr.
  • Eggs 2 pcs.
  • Olive oil 1 tbsp. l.
  • Flour 200 gr.

Preparation:

We will start cooking by preparing the sauce. This Thai sauce is suitable for all fans of spicy FSC. This is a very cool hot-sweet sauce, which I have personally tested more than once. Well, let's start with it!

1. Place water, sugar and rice vinegar (or you can use apple cider vinegar) into a saucepan set on fire. Over low heat, bring the entire contents to a boil. It is very important that all the sugar is completely dissolved.

2. While the future sauce is simmering over low heat, there is time to prepare the chili pepper. Cut it in half and remove all the seeds. For the amount of sauce we are preparing, it will be enough to use only one part of the pepper. Cut it as finely as possible.

3. We also need garlic. Two cloves are enough, which do not need to be pressed or squeezed through the garlic clove. It is enough to randomly chop them with a knife.

4. As soon as the liquid in the saucepan begins to boil, you can add chopped spicy additives and a spoonful of tomato to it. Mix all the contents and leave for another 5 minutes.

5. While the sauce is saturated with the aromas of pepper and garlic, we need to prepare another essential additive in order for it to thicken. To do this, place starch and a tablespoon of cold water in a separate small bowl. Mix everything thoroughly so that there are no lumps. Then carefully pour the finished mixture into the sauce with constant stirring. Add two pinches of salt and keep it on low heat until thickened for another 3-4 minutes.

6. When the sauce reaches a thick consistency, you can remove it from the heat. Set aside until completely cool. Afterwards, you can pour the prepared hot-sweet sauce into a separate beautiful bowl. Do not try or eat it hot under any circumstances. Otherwise, it threatens to burn you or you simply won’t like it. When cold, this easy-to-prepare Thai sauce will create a simply delicious delight.

7. Well, now let's get down to the chicken strips themselves. Be sure to rinse the chicken breast with water and pat dry with paper towels. Next, cut the meat into thick, elongated pieces.

8. It is necessary to salt and pepper future strips on both sides. Here rely on your taste sensations. Not everyone likes over-peppered or over-salted meat. And just the opposite, not everyone likes under-salted food either. Set them aside so they can be fully infused with the spices.

9. Well, now we have smoothly moved on to the next stage of preparation - breading. As recommended by Colonel Sanders, we will coat the chicken in corn flakes. Please note that the cereal should not be sweet. Now, using a bag and a rolling pin, we turn them into small chips. Then pour the crushed corn flakes into a convenient, large container.

10. Also for breading we will need two beaten eggs mixed with olive oil. And also a little flour.

11. Now let's move on to the most important stage. Dredge a piece of chicken in flour, then move it to a mixture of eggs and butter, and then send it to the corn flakes. We do the same with all other strips.

12. Place the finished breaded pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. By the way, there is absolutely no need to lubricate it with oil.

13. Place the baking sheet in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 15 minutes. After that, we take it out and turn our chicken pieces over to the other side so that the products are baked equally. Place back in the oven and set for another 15 minutes. In this case, the breading will naturally fall off a little, but this is not scary. Everything will work out as it should, rest assured.

Well, the allotted time has passed. We take the strips out of the oven and arrange them beautifully in a heap on a saucer or whatever plate you think is suitable. The light and low-calorie sauce that we prepared at the very beginning is perfect to complement the chicken slices.

It would be very appropriate to serve fresh vegetables and herbs nearby. Cook it yourself and treat all your family and friends with delicious strips. I am sure that no one will be able to refuse such a snack with a delicious golden crust.

Nuggets with mozzarella

We will need:

  • 450 g minced chicken
  • 225 g mozzarella
  • 60 g flour
  • 50 g breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ - 1 tsp black pepper
  • A pinch of salt
  • Pinch of dried oregano
  • Olive oil (for frying)

How to cook:

  1. Cut the cheese into small slices, salt and pepper the minced chicken.
  2. Take the minced meat and place the mozzarella in the middle so that when you roll it into a nugget, the cheese ends up in the center.
  3. Mix breadcrumbs and oregano, beat eggs in a separate bowl. Dip the nuggets first in flour, then in egg, and then in breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the nuggets over medium heat until golden brown.

Breaded chicken strips in the oven

To reduce the calorie content of the dish, the strips are baked in the oven, not forgetting the delicious sauce. In this case, it is mayonnaise deliciousness with garlic.

We take:

  • Chicken fillet – 350 gr.
  • Spicy mustard - a large spoon.
  • Soy sauce – 2 large spoons.
  • Garlic cloves – a couple.
  • Pepper mixture - a pinch.
  • Salt - to taste.

For breading:

  • Ground crackers – 100 gr.
  • Eggs - a couple.
  • Flour – 100 gr.

For the sauce:

  • Mayonnaise – 100 gr.
  • Garlic – 2 cloves.
  • Dill - sprig.

How to cook:

  1. Divide the breast into 2 cm thick strips.
  2. Make a marinade from the ingredients listed in the recipe. Stir the mixture, place the sliced ​​meat. Marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. Place parchment paper on a baking sheet.
  4. Bread the chicken strips by dipping the pieces in flour, then egg, and finally breadcrumbs.
  5. Place the semi-finished products on parchment at some distance from each other.
  6. Place the baking sheet in an oven preheated to 180 o C, on the middle level. Cooking time – 25 minutes.
  7. While the strips are baking, make the sauce. To do this, crush the garlic cloves through a press and add to mayonnaise. Chop the dill, add to the sauce, and mix well.

KFC strip recipe

The original version from the KFS network, very simple, you can cope with cooking at home, even if you do not have culinary experience.

Required:

  • Chicken meat – 900 gr.
  • Flour - 3.5 cups.
  • Milk – ½ cup.
  • Egg.
  • Oregano spice mix, curry, ginger, dried garlic, basil - large spoon.
  • Red hot pepper - a small spoon.
  • Sweet paprika – 3 large spoons.
  • Salt - a large spoon.

How to do:

  1. Cut the poultry fillet into strips 2x8 cm thick.
  2. Beat the egg until foamy. Pour in the milk, use the mixer again, whisking until smooth.
  3. Add half a glass of flour, a large spoon of paprika, and salt.
  4. Continue mixing the batter. As a result, you should get a mass with a consistency reminiscent of thick sour cream. If the dough is too thick, thin it with milk. If it is quite liquid, add more flour.
  5. Dip the chicken pieces into the dough, hold for 5-10 minutes.
  6. In a separate container, mix the remaining 2 tablespoons of sweet paprika, hot chili, and remaining flour. Add seasoning mixture. Mix the breading thoroughly.
  7. Heat oil in a frying pan.
  8. Remove several chicken pieces from the bowl with the dough, transfer them to the dry mixture, and roll on all sides.
  9. Cook on each side for 3 minutes until the strips are lightly browned.
  10. For the sauce, I recommend mixing sour cream with horseradish and chopped dill.

Chicken nuggets made from minced meat

Nuggets can be made not only from whole pieces, but also from minced meat - finely chopped fillet. It’s good to put various additives in these, for example, finely chopped herbs or grated cheese. The next recipe will be made with cheese.

Recipe Ingredients

  • chicken breast - 1
  • parmesan or other cheese - 50 grams
  • breadcrumbs - 150 grams
  • egg - 1

Cooking chicken nuggets from minced meat

Wash, dry and finely chop the chicken fillet. Beat the egg, mixing the white and yolk until smooth. Place minced meat and coarsely grated cheese in a bowl, stir.

Form into a small ball. Dip it into the egg mixture. Roll in breadcrumbs, first pouring them onto a flat plate. After flattening it, make a puck out of the ball.

When you have made all the chicken nuggets, you can start frying them in heated vegetable oil. Place the finished ones on a paper napkin and be sure to remove excess fat.

You can make different ones at the same time, with several types of cheese - you will get nuggets of different tastes, which by appearance you will not be able to tell which one will get which.

If you use Parmesan cheese, then you do not need to add additional salt to the minced meat. When using other varieties, be guided by your taste.

There is such a nuance in chicken nugget recipes. Since the meat ball must first be dipped in liquid and then in breadcrumbs, they stick to your fingers, preventing you from rolling the next balls, so you can roll them all first and then continue processing.
