The dough for such cookies is rolled on both sides in the shape of a heart, however, when cut, it resembles palm leaves, hence the name palmier. These cookies can be served with ice cream, but even combined with a simple cup of coffee it will be a delicious dessert.

The main advantage of cookies is that they are very quickly and easily made from ready-made puff pastry purchased at the store. To do this, you will need a 240 g package of frozen dough, 1 tbsp. spoon of cinnamon, 1 glass of sugar, pinch of salt.

Thaw the dough according to the manufacturer's instructions. At the same time, mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl, add salt. The dough is rolled out into a rectangle of small thickness and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. Then, from both sides, the dough is rolled into a roll, evenly, to make two rolls that meet approximately in the middle of the rectangle. Then cut the heart-shaped pieces with a knife.

  • flour (sifted several times in advance) – 2 cups;
  • apples (large) – 2 pcs.;
  • baking soda – ½ tsp;
  • medium-sized eggs - 2 pcs.;
  • starch – 2 tsp;
  • butter (soften in advance) – 100 g.

Cooking time: 1 hour.

How to cook:

  1. Beat butter with salt and sugar until fluffy;
