Kefir pies with cabbage

List of required ingredients (for 10 large pies):

  • Cabbage - 600 gr;
  • Carrots - 1 piece;
  • Onion - 1 piece;
  • Wheat flour - 400 gr;
  • Kefir - 250 ml;
  • Sour cream - 2 tbsp;
  • Egg yolk - 1 pc;
  • Tomato paste - 2 tbsp;
  • Sugar - 1 tbsp;
  • Soda - 0.5 tsp;
  • Salt, pepper - to taste;
  • Vegetable oil.

How to make kefir pies with cabbage:

1. Finely chop the cabbage and grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Mash the vegetables well with your hands until the cabbage becomes soft.

2. Peel the onion, cut into cubes and fry in vegetable oil until transparent.

3. Add cabbage and carrots to the pan, fry for about 5-7 minutes under the lid.

4. Add tomato paste, 1 tbsp. sugar, 0.5 tsp. salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything well and cook for about 10 minutes, covering with a lid.

5. Let the finished cabbage cool. You can make a double portion of the dough and make more pies with potatoes. To do this, you need to boil the potatoes, mash them into a puree and add fried onions and dill. Then, let it cool.

6. Heat the kefir a little, it should be a little warm. Then add sour cream, yolk, 0.5 tsp salt and 0.5 tsp. soda Mix well.

7. Sift 200 grams of flour and add 2 tbsp. vegetable oil. Mix everything well again.

8. Add the remaining 200 grams of flour and knead the dough into pies.

How to cook kefir pies with potatoes:

1. Peel the onion, cut into cubes and fry in vegetable oil until soft. Do not forget to stir periodically, it should not burn.

2. Peel the potatoes and boil in salted water until tender. Add 50 grams of butter and mash the potatoes into a puree. Then add the fried onion and mix well.

3. In a bowl, mix salt, sugar and pour in kefir. Then add soda and mix. Add half of the flour, which must first be sifted.

4. Mix the ingredients until smooth and add four tablespoons of vegetable oil. Then pour the second part of the flour onto the table and lay out the dough.

5. Knead soft dough. When it has absorbed all the flour, you need to wash your hands and add two more tablespoons of vegetable oil to the dough. Knead the dough well, wrap it in film and leave for half an hour at room temperature.

  • Kefir 3.2% – 500 ml;
  • Sour cream - 4 tbsp;
  • Chicken yolks - 2 pcs;
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp;
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp;
  • Salt - 1.5 tsp;
  • Soda - 1 tsp;
  • Vegetable oil - for frying.

How to cook kefir pies with meat:

1. Boil the meat in salted water until cooked. Then, cool and pass through a meat grinder.

2. Peel the onion and cut into cubes. After this, put the onion in vegetable oil heated in a frying pan and fry over medium heat until tender.

  2. We wash the berries under running water and remove leaves and excess twigs. If the berries are very large, then they need to be cut a little smaller. Next, add sugar to everything and mix. After about 15 minutes, drain off the excess juice that the berries have produced.
  3. Add starch to the berries.

How to cook kefir pies with eggs and green onions:

1. Boil chicken eggs until cooked and cool to room temperature. Then, cut into cubes.

2. Finely chop the green onions and fry in butter over medium heat for 3-4 minutes. After this, transfer the fried onions into a bowl with the chopped eggs, add salt to taste and mix well.

3. Combine kefir with sour cream and heat a little on the stove or in the microwave. Then add sugar, salt, chicken eggs and mix well.

4. Add half the flour (must be sifted first) and vegetable oil. Let's start kneading the dough.

1. Heat the kefir a little, it should be lukewarm. Add sugar, salt, soda and vegetable oil. Mix everything well.

2. Next, sift the flour and add in small portions. Knead into a soft, elastic dough. Wrap it in film and leave for half an hour.

3. Wash the apples well, cut off the peel and remove the core. Then, cut the apples into small cubes.

4. Divide the dough into equal pieces. The number of pieces depends on the desired size of future pies.
