I also decided to write about it, since it turns out that not everyone knows and does it. But it’s no worse than meat, and maybe even better, more tender.

I definitely make these pancakes for Maslenitsa and generally whenever I want them.

Any liver will do: beef, pork, chicken, whatever you like (300 g).

I cut it into pieces and boil for 10-20 minutes (depending on the variety). I don’t put salt in the water, then I add salt to the minced meat itself.

I cut the onion and fry it in a small amount of oil and then grind it together with the liver in a meat grinder.

In addition to salt, you can add your favorite seasonings to the filling; I usually use classic black pepper.

I roll the pancakes with minced meat into an envelope; you can also fry them in a frying pan. Another way to do this is to place it seam side down in the pan and sprinkle cheese on top. Place in the oven for 5-10 minutes. This is truly yummy!

With herring

Surprised? But why not? So, we take the herring carcass, process it properly (i.e. clean it, remove the bones).

It’s worth the trouble with the bones, but the finished fillets in boxes that are on sale are inferior in quality to whole fish.

Chop the onion as finely as possible and, to remove the bitterness and add a piquant taste, pour in lemon juice and leave to marinate. Just during this time, cut the herring into pieces and then add it to the onion.

If you like, add some olives, cut into 4 parts and a little greenery. A few drops of olive oil won't hurt.

The best form for pancakes with herring is a bag. Place the filling in the middle of the flatbread, gather the edges up and tie the resulting structure with green onions or a strip of smoked cheese.

I also make stuffing with apples. I read this recipe once and really liked it.

I clean and cut the herring and apple into small cubes in the same way, put everything together and wrap it in pancakes in this form.

I can’t even convey how unusual the taste is, simply amazing!

With egg and rice

Take two tablespoons of rice, boil in salted water until tender and then rinse in cold water and let the excess liquid drain.

Finely chop the green onions, dill and parsley and add to the rice. There are also two hard-boiled eggs.

Mix all the products, add salt and season with preheated butter. Two spoons will be enough.

Filled pancakes rolled up in an envelope can be rolled in breadcrumbs and fried until golden brown.

Crab sticks

Mix 200 g of crab meat, 2 eggs, a little hard cheese (grated) and season with mayonnaise.

With broccoli

Cook broccoli in boiling water for 2 minutes and cool quickly in cold water.

Heat the cream, add grated cheese. As you stir, it will melt and the sauce will thicken.

Fold the pancake in half, put a little sauce, and a piece of cabbage on top.

White cabbage

Chop 300 g of fresh vegetables and simmer until tender.

Fry the chopped onion separately.

You also need to boil 2 eggs.

For 250 g of cottage cheese, take 2 bananas.

We turn the fruits into puree, mashing them with a fork. And so that they do not darken, sprinkle with lemon juice, which we squeeze out of its half quite a bit.
