Jam desserts: jelly
Ingredients:
• any jam (strawberry, strawberry, and currant are excellent) – not a full glass;
• gelatin – 2 small packs;
• water – 1 liter.
And also to decorate the finished jelly, take your choice of any fruit, for example, bananas, grapes, oranges, apples and others.
Cooking method:
1. First of all, soak the gelatin in water, following the instructions written on the gelatin packet, usually the ratio is 1:6. Soak the gelatin in water for 5 to 30 minutes, depending on the concentration of the products used. It is better to immediately put the gelatin to swell in a small metal container, which can then be placed on the stove to slightly melt the jelly mass in order to get rid of any remaining lumps. When keeping gelatin on fire, it is important to ensure that the mixture does not boil.
2. Take any jam, for example, currant, gooseberry, plum or other jam, dilute it with water. Fans of very sweet desserts can take a little less water than indicated. If you use currant or apple jam, be sure to strain it through cheesecloth so that the pulp does not get into the jelly.
3. Strain the gelatin through a sieve to completely remove any undissolved lumps and slowly pour it into the strained jam compote, stir thoroughly with a spoon.
4. Pour into special silicone jelly molds.
5. Cool the jelly molds slightly at room temperature, and then put them in the refrigerator to harden.
6. Carefully remove the frozen jelly from the molds, turning it over onto a flat plate. If the jelly cannot be removed without ruining the appearance of the dessert, simply lower the molds, bottom down, into boiling water for a few seconds.
7. Decorate the finished jam dessert with any fruit you wish, you can sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Any jam to your taste is suitable: berry jam (from currants, strawberries, gooseberries, raspberries, etc.), fruit jam (from apples, pears, oranges, etc.), mixed jam (with the addition of pumpkin, for example).
It is important that there are no seeds in the jam, for example, if you use cherry or black cherry jam. To avoid cake - when using lemon and currant jam. It is better to first grind any of the jams in a blender, and then grind through a sieve.

requirement, since in this case a quality product simply will not turn out. You can put wine on jam from different types of fruits and berries; such an assortment will enrich homemade wine from old jam with an original taste and aroma.
The technology for making wine from jam at home is quite simple. It consists of several stages:
- 1. Add sugar to a mixture of equal weight amounts of jam and warm boiled water (1:1) and stir everything. The amount of sugar is a glass for 6 liters of mixture.
- 2. Add a couple of handfuls (200-250 g) of unwashed raisins or the same unwashed grapes to this solution. Special wine yeast on the surface of the berries triggers the natural fermentation process, which spreads to the jam.
- 3. The container with the mixture is placed in a dark and warm place.
- 4.After all the pulp has risen to the top, it is carefully separated, and the wort is filtered into a clean bottle or jar. The classic recipe for homemade wine from jam involves adding the same amount of sugar to the wort at this stage.
5.A water seal of any available design is installed on the neck of the bottle. 6.Fermentation continues in a warm and dark place at t +25+27⁰C. Its completion can be judged by the fact that carbon dioxide bubbles have ceased to be released
7.Trying not to disturb the sediment, the resulting product is carefully poured into bottles using a thin straw. For finer cleaning, you can use a filter

A simple recipe for making wine from old jam at home
So, how to make wine from old jam? But first, some subtleties that are not always taken into account, but can affect the taste of the future wine.
Firstly, there should be no mold on the jam. And, secondly, if you have sweet jam from which you want to make wine, then you need to add a little sour jam to it to avoid getting something like a compote.
This is the version of wine from sweet and sour jam that we will make. For a three-liter jar you need to take one and a half liters of sweet and sour jam. We pour them into a jar.
Then fill the jar to the very edge with boiled water. The water should be at room temperature. If the water is hot, then the wild yeast that has formed in the jam may disappear. But, you will still need to add more yeast to help them. And this yeast will become raisins. For a three-liter jar you need to add 100 g of raisins.
Then mix everything very well and close the jar with a lid. Now we put the jar in a warm and dark place for 10 days. After 10 days, the jam will ferment and the cake will float. It must be removed and the liquid strained through cheesecloth or a sieve.
Now we move on to the main stage of fermentation. Pour the strained jam into a new jar and put a glove on top. The glove will serve as an indicator of the end of fermentation. When the fermentation process is intense, the glove will inflate. But once the fermentation is over, the gauntlet will fall off. This means that the wine is almost ready and must be poured into prepared clean bottles using a silicone tube.
A sediment forms at the bottom after fermentation. Therefore, we lower the tube so that it does not touch this sediment. We filter the wine in this way and bottle it.
Well, then all that remains is to put these bottles in a cooler place for two weeks to mature. And after this, you can taste the wine.
It is believed that the best tasting wine can be made from apple, plum and apricot jam. Moreover, the consumption of food here goes in favor of wine. For example, from a liter of homemade jam you will get about two liters of wine. It works out very well.
But wine can also be made from berry jam, which will be discussed further.
