Juicy types of carrots should not be used for snacks, since the water from them must be evaporated for a long time to make the chips crispy. To change the taste of carrot snacks, you can use hot red pepper, dried oregano, thyme, and sage.

You will need:

  • Large carrots 1 pc.
  • Vegetable or olive oil 1 tbsp. l.
  • Dried basil 0.25 tsp.
  • Ground black pepper 1 pinch
  • Dried rosemary 0.25 tsp.
  • Salt to taste

Cooking method:

Cut the carrots into thin slices. Place the carrot slices in a bowl, add salt and pepper, add herbs and spices and mix thoroughly so that each slice is well soaked. If liquid forms at the bottom of the bowl, it must be drained.

Line a baking sheet with parchment and lay out the slices. It is necessary to maintain some distance between them so that they dry evenly. Cook the carrot chips in the oven at no more than 100 degrees, about 1.5-2 hours. Ready-made snacks should be completely dry and crispy.

Beetroot chips

Beets benefit from their high content of the antioxidant betalain, known for its anti-inflammatory and detoxifying effects. Beet chips have a natural sweetness thanks to their high content of natural sugars, and for a sweet-salty flavor, we serve them with goat cheese dip. This dish will reveal its special taste with a glass of red wine.

You will need:

  • Beetroot 400 g
  • Salt to taste
  • Dried rosemary to taste
  • Olive oil 4 tbsp. l.

Cooking method:

Turn on the oven and bring it to 150 degrees. Prepare the seasoning mixture: stir together salt, ground garlic and dried rosemary. Peel the beets, wash and cut into thin slices (1–2 mm). Ingredients (for 4 servings).

250 ml freshly squeezed beet juice, 200 g cucumbers, 300 g tomatoes, 100 g sweet bell pepper, 1 tsp.
Worcestershire sauce, a piece of Borodino bread, a pinch of sugar, salt to taste. For tarragon cappuccino:
100 g tarragon, 100 ml water, 5 g lecithin, salt to taste.
For serving:
