How to make an egg roll with cream cheese and garlic

Rolls are a very tasty dish, no matter what filling is used for it. Whether it's a sweet roll or a savory one. Rolls can be prepared both on holidays for table setting, and on weekdays for dinner or lunch. The roll is also quite suitable as a snack, especially if you have a group of friends and you are too lazy to prepare complex dishes.

Today we will look at some recipes for making rolls that you can take note of and cook at home.

Step-by-step production

The eggs are beaten in a separate bowl. Bell peppers are cut into medium-sized cubes. After this, the beaten eggs, pieces of pepper and milk are mixed, ground pepper and salt are added to the mixture. Next, cover the baking sheet with parchment so that its edges protrude beyond the baking sheet, and pour the resulting mixture onto it. Preheat the oven to +180 °C and bake for about 5-7 minutes. In the process of preparing the mixture, you need to grate the processed cheese and chop the pre-peeled garlic. Mix processed cheese with garlic with mayonnaise and add spices if desired. After cooking, the omelet must be separated from the parchment and turned face down. Coat the reverse side with cheese, garlic and mayonnaise filling and wrap tightly. Afterwards the roll can be cut and served.

Egg roll with red fish and cheese in the oven

First, let's get acquainted with recipes in the oven. Egg roll with red fish and cheese in the oven is prepared in literally 15-20 minutes. This is baking time. Then, after baking, the omelette crust is covered with cheese and slices of salted fish. Roll up tightly and cool. As a result, you get a fairly quick snack. It’s hard to imagine anything better for a family holiday.

With pink salmon and melted cheese

This is a step-by-step recipe with photos on how to prepare a delicious egg roll with pink salmon at home. The fish in the recipe is lightly salted, home-salted. The roll has melted cheese as a filling.

Ingredients:

  • green onions – 100 g;
  • eggs – 6 pcs.;
  • hard cheese – 100 g;
  • processed cheese – 100 g;
  • lightly salted pink salmon – 200 g;
  • vegetable oil.

Step-by-step recipe for roll with photo:

Take fresh green onions. In the photo there is a homemade onion that grew in a pot on the windowsill in winter. Store-bought onions will also work, but homemade onions are juicier. Do you want to grow one like this? Take a small pot. Add soil or sawdust. Stick in the onion. Water it. After just 7 days, small sprouts of green feathers will be visible. Voila! So, back to the egg roll recipe. Wash a bunch of green onions well. Dry with a towel.

Cut the onion smaller.

Remove bones from red fish. Cut the meat into small pieces.

Pass hard cheese through a grater. Add to onions.

Mix in the egg yolks. First separate the whites from the yolks. Mix thoroughly so that the mixture is homogeneous.

Think about squirrels.

Add some salt. Beat with a mixer at high speed. The liquid will quickly turn into a thick foam.

Transfer the foam to the yolk mixture. Stir.

Take a baking sheet. Cover with parchment or foil. Grease with vegetable oil. Place the egg mixture into the oil. Spread over the entire piece of paper.

Bake in a preheated oven for 15 minutes at 190℃.

Remove pan from heat. After 10 minutes, when the omelette has cooled, add the filling. Spread melted cheese over the surface of the omelette.

Lay out the fish slices.

Working from the edge, roll the omelette into a log.

Wrap in food paper or foil. Keep in the refrigerator for about 40 minutes. Before serving, cut the roll into portions.

But what happens if you replace green onions with spinach. The photo shows my recent version of the egg snack. Prepared according to the previous recipe, but there are some features:

  1. The spinach was crushed in a blender along with the yolks to a homogeneous paste.
  2. After baking, the egg layer was cut into 2 equal parts. In this way, 2 small rolls are formed, which are cut into more accurate portions.
  3. The filling uses only hard cheese and pink salmon, salted according to a home recipe. Evaluate what happened.

With salmon and spinach

Egg roll with red fish and spicy herbs is great for an appetizer. Cut the pieces and place them on a plate, overlapping or in a pyramid. The appetizer will be one of the first to fly off the table.

Ingredients:

  • frozen spinach – 350 g (or a large bunch of fresh);
  • raw chicken eggs – 8 pcs.;
  • grated hard cheese – 100 g;
  • table mustard – 1 tsp;
  • curd cheese – 200 g;
  • lightly salted red fish (salmon) – 200 g;
  • salt, ground black pepper, vegetable oil.

Step by step recipe:

  1. Place frozen spinach in a small bowl. Let the greens thaw. Squeeze out excess moisture. Is your spinach fresh? Rinse the bunch thoroughly. Let dry on paper towels. Finely chop the spinach.
  2. Turn on the oven at 190℃.
  3. Take care of the eggs. Separate the yolks from the eggs. Mix the yolks with spinach and grated cheese. Pepper it. Stir.
  4. Salt the whites. Beat to a strong foam with a mixer. It will take a couple of minutes, and the liquid mass will become a thick foam.
  5. Gently mix the protein mixture with the yolk mixture. Use a spatula to move from bottom to top. This way the mixture is mixed, but the whites do not fall off.
  6. Line a wide baking tray with low sides with baking paper and generously grease with vegetable oil.
  7. Place the egg mixture on a baking sheet. Spread in an even layer. Place in the oven for 15 minutes.
  8. Remove the pan. Let the egg crust cool for 3-4 minutes. It will settle, but there is nothing wrong with that.
  9. Make sure the cake is not sticking to the pan. Otherwise you will have to pry it off with a spatula.
  10. Filling. Mix cottage cheese with mustard. Add ground pepper if desired. Cut the lightly salted fish fillet into thin slices.
  11. Brush the crust with the filling. Cover it all with cream cheese. Place thin slices of fish on the cheese.
  12. Wrap the omelette tightly. Pack in foil. Place in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes. The roll will freeze perfectly and will be easier to cut. In total, it will take you about an hour to prepare.

With mayonnaise and soft cheese

Mayonnaise gives the appetizer a spicy note. It's good to use homemade mayonnaise. But store bought will also work. The recipe can be transformed at the request of the hostess. This way the sauce can easily be changed to sour cream or heavy cream. True, the calorie content will jump a little.

What products to take:

  • mayonnaise – 4 tbsp. l.;
  • eggs – 4 pcs.;
  • general purpose flour - 1 tbsp. l.;
  • vegetable oil - for lubrication;
  • any lightly salted red fish without bones – 200 g;
  • soft cheese - a little more than 100 g.

How to cook step by step:

  1. Break the eggs into a bowl. Add flour and mayonnaise. Beat with a mixer.
  2. Place a layer of paper on a baking sheet. Grease with oil. Pour in the egg batter. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes. If you watch, after 10 minutes the dough will begin to rise. This is fine. After cooling, the omelette will sink and then roll up well.
  3. In the meantime, cut the fish into pieces. Make sure there are no bones in the fillet.
  4. Remove the hot omelette from the oven. Let cool slightly - 2-3 minutes. Spread with any soft cheese. Sprinkle over red fish.
  5. Separating the omelet from the paper, wrap it in a roll. Wrap with cling film. Place in the refrigerator for half an hour. When serving, cut into thin rings or small cones. If desired, insert a toothpick or skewer into each piece.

How to cook with red caviar

An interesting-tasting roll is made with red caviar filling. Take any egg dough recipe as a basis. Bake in the oven. When cool, cover with grated cheese. Sprinkle with red caviar. Use caviar alone or mixed with red fish fillets. Wrap the omelette with filling into a roll. Refrigerate. Slice just before serving.

With olives and curly parsley

With olives and curly parsley, the egg roll is very pretty. Appetizing in appearance, it looks like a transformed pizza.

Products:

  • lightly salted red fish – 250 g;
  • butter – 50 g;
  • lemon – juice from a quarter of the fruit;

  6. Remove the omelet from the oven. Let cool slightly and become limp. Place the fish on it. Wrap tightly with a roll. Put it in the refrigerator.

Another recipe with dill

In the recipe, dill brightly colors the egg batter. Therefore, the roll turns out to be a rich green color. The shade is not lost because the cake is not baked in the oven for long.

What to take for cooking:

  • chicken eggs – 4 pcs.;
  • dill - a large bunch;
  • hard cheese – 60 g;
  • curd cheese – 80-90 g;
  • lightly salted red fish – 200 g;
  • wheat flour – 2 tbsp. l.;
  • butter – 2-3 tbsp. l.

How to make an egg roll:

  1. Break the eggs into a bowl. Whisk a little.
  2. Grate the cheese here and finely chop the dill. Add flour. Stir until smooth.
  3. Grease a wide baking sheet generously with cream cheese. Pour out the dough. Bake in the oven at 200℃ for 10-12 minutes. Does your oven have top heat? Turn it on and the baking time will be reduced.
  4. Cool the finished cake at room temperature. Spread with cream cheese. Place fish slices on the edge. Wrap tightly. Refrigerate. The longer you keep the roll in the refrigerator, the better it will adhere to the filling.

Idea. Instead of cottage cheese, use salted cottage cheese or homemade cheese for the filling.

Cooking steps

The eggs are broken, poured into a deep bowl, then sour cream and salt are added to taste. Then the resulting mixture is whipped until smooth. Then you should pour it onto a baking sheet, first covering it with parchment. The oven is heated to +170 °C, and the mixture is left to bake for 15-20 minutes. Don't be afraid if the omelette swells a little, this is only at first, then it will fall and become flat. Meanwhile, grate the melted cheese and finely chop the garlic and herbs. Mix these ingredients with chopped crab sticks and mayonnaise. If desired, the crab stick can be replaced with shrimp or crab meat. It is worth adding salt, but this is not at all necessary, since the cheese is salty enough on its own. Place the finished omelette on a table or stand and fill it with the prepared mixture in an even layer. Then the roll needs to be rolled up, wrapped in paper and left in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes. That's all, the dish is ready! All that remains is to cut it and taste it.

Egg omelette roll with filling

You can prepare such a snack roll with any fillings: minced meat (chicken, beef, pork), crab sticks, mushrooms, red fish (salmon, trout, pink salmon), canned tuna, processed cheese and garlic, etc. We'll make a meatloaf stuffed with cooked chicken.

Ingredients:

  • eggs - 3 pcs.;
  • boiled chicken thigh (or breast) - 1 pc.;
  • carrots - 0.5 pcs.;
  • sour cream - 70 g;
  • fresh herbs - 0.5 bunch;

Cooking time: 30 min.

Recipe 3. Delicious egg roll with cheese and garlic, fried in a frying pan

What you need for cooking:

  • 2 eggs;
  • 2 tbsp. l. kefir;
  • vegetable oil;
  • salt to taste;
  • 2 tbsp. l. mayonnaise;
  • processed cheese – 1 pc.;
  • two cloves of garlic.

This roll is prepared as follows. Rinse the eggs thoroughly with tap water. Peel the garlic. Break and pour the eggs into the prepared bowl, add the required amount of salt and add kefir. It will give the dish a more delicate taste. Now you need to whisk all the ingredients until a homogeneous consistency is formed. Spices are added as desired and are not necessary. Then you need to heat a frying pan and fry an egg pancake from the mixed mass in vegetable oil. You need to fry the pancake on both sides; it is also important to adjust the heat if necessary so that it does not burn. Place the fried omelette on paper and leave it to cool. Now the filling is prepared. To do this, grate the processed cheese and mix it with finely chopped garlic. If it's more convenient for you, you can use a garlic press instead of chopping it by hand. Then cheese and garlic need to be mixed with mayonnaise or, if desired, the remaining kefir can be used in place of mayonnaise. Grease the omelette with filling and wrap it in the form of a roll. After this, wrap the dish in paper or cling film and put it in the refrigerator for about an hour.

After an hour, take out the dish, cut into portions, sprinkle with herbs - and you can serve!
