I bring to your attention a simple recipe on how to cook stewed beef heart. It goes great with any side dish; the meat itself is tender and juicy. All my family loves this dish!

Recommendations for selection and processing

High-quality, fresh food can be used to create delicious dishes. Therefore, you need to carefully look at the product before buying it.

The heart should have a uniform structure and a bright red hue. The presence of dark spots and dots on the surface of the product is unacceptable. Before preparing the heart, it should be thoroughly washed in cold water, pieces of fat and vessels should be cut off. Today there are many ways to cook stewed beef heart. Recipes with photos indicate that the product is consumed with different side dishes. Such dishes are great for everyday meals and as a holiday treat.

Hearts baked with cheese

Baked chicken offal dishes are especially good because they have a more delicate and rich taste and a pleasant aroma. The golden brown cheese crust gives an attractive appearance to the finished culinary masterpiece, as in the photo.

Ingredients:

  • cheese – 100g;
  • giblets – 0.8 kg;
  • onions – 2 pcs.;
  • ground pepper - a pinch of red and black;
  • spicy ketchup - to taste;
  • refined oil for greasing baking sheets;
  • salt.

Ketchup can be omitted if desired, and depending on your own preferences, the amount of cheese can be increased. Instructions:

  1. Preparation of products: stripping and washing offal, peeling and cutting onions into half rings.
  2. The giblets are pre-salted, sprinkled with pepper, and ketchup is added. Everything is mixed and left for half an hour.
  3. The onion is laid out on a baking sheet in an even layer, with prepared offal on top, then grated cheese.
  4. The dish is cooked in the oven at 220 degrees (about 40 minutes).

You can safely experiment with this recipe, for example, adding sour cream or sour cream sauce, mushrooms.

Cooking goulash with gravy

This dish contains the following ingredients:

  • Onion - 1 head.
  • Beef heart.
  • 2 large spoons of tomato sauce.
  • The same amount of wheat flour.
  • A little table salt and crushed pepper.
  • 2 bay leaves.
  • Three large spoons of vegetable fat.

Beef heart stewed according to the recipe with tomato sauce is prepared in this way.

The offal must be rinsed, fat and blood vessels must be cut off. Chop into small squares and cover with a layer of wheat flour. Then the heart needs to be cooked over fire with the addition of vegetable fat for five minutes. The onion is chopped into semicircular pieces. Place in a vessel with offal and fry for some more time. Then you need to add water, bay leaf, table salt and ground pepper to the food. Then the ingredients are combined with tomato paste and mixed thoroughly. Beef heart stewed according to the recipe with tomato sauce should be cooked for half an hour.

Recipe for making hearts with carrots and onions in a slow cooker

As you know, in dishes similar in cooking technology to goulash, it is customary to add various vegetables, but mainly carrots and onions. Above we discussed the recipe only with onions, but if you also add carrots to the dish, it will turn out even more rich and nutritious.

To make things easier, we will cook everything in a slow cooker, but you can also do this in a frying pan or in a saucepan.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken hearts – 1 kg
  • Onion – 1-2 heads
  • Carrots – 1 pc.
  • Sour cream – 3-4 tbsp. l.
  • Tomato sauce – 2 tbsp. l.
  • Khmeli-suneli – 1/2 tsp.
  • Salt, pepper - to taste

Cooking method:

1. Prepare the giblets. We take the heart and cut it in half lengthwise but not all the way, making a kind of butterfly. Then we cut out the aorta (the tube in the fat area), it is tough and will be very difficult to chew.

Also, if you see a blood clot in the middle of the offal, then remove it from there and wash the product itself.

Please note that the blood may contain not very useful elements that can negatively affect your health.

2. Immediately set the multicooker to preheat on the “Frying” mode with a small amount of oil, and in the meantime prepare the vegetables.

Cut the onion into small cubes or half rings (optional), and grate the carrots on a regular grater, or for Korean carrots.

Then we place the prepared vegetables in the multicooker bowl and fry them for literally 3 minutes. They just need to open up in flavor. You can use the onion as a guide; it should become translucent.

3. After a while, add the meat component to the onions and carrots, immediately salt and pepper everything, add suneli hops, tomato sauce and sour cream. Now mix the contents and, in order not to be afraid of the dish burning, pour in literally 100 ml of water.

4. We will cook in the “Stew” mode for 1 hour. But, if you do not have such a program, then you can cook using the “Baking” or “Multi-cook” functions. In the latter case, it will be necessary to set the temperature to 160°C. In general, we start the program and wait.

A small note. As a result, we will get a liquid gravy, however, if you want it thicker, you need to thicken it with flour. To do this, 10 minutes before cooking, sift some flour into a bowl and stir. Just be sure to add a little at a time so that dumplings do not form. The amount of flour will depend on the desired thickness.

Serve the finished dish with a side dish and do not forget to pour gravy over it. Thanks to the tomato, there is a very pleasant sourness in the taste. However, if you don’t have it, you can only use sour cream. Try it, you will like it!

Dish with sour cream sauce

It includes:

  • One onion.
  • 2 large spoons of vegetable fat.
  • The same amount of sour cream.
  • Approximately 400 grams of beef heart.
  • A little table salt and spices.
  • A small spoon of wheat flour.

Beef heart, stewed in sour cream according to the recipe mentioned in the article, is prepared as follows. The offal must be rinsed and the veins removed. It is kept in cold water for about 3 hours, then chopped into small slices. The heart pieces should be placed in a frying pan and fried. It should soften. You also need to add a little water to the container with the product. The onion head is peeled and chopped into semicircular slices. It must be cooked over a fire with vegetable fat until a golden crust forms. Wheat flour is fried in a frying pan and then combined with water. The resulting mass should not contain solid particles. Pieces of heart are sprinkled with table salt and spices. Combine this product with onions. Then sour cream and a mixture of flour and water are added to the frying pan. All ingredients must be mixed thoroughly.

This dish goes well with a side dish of boiled cereal, vegetables or pasta.

How to deliciously cook chicken hearts in sour cream in the oven?

The ideal addition to dishes made from chicken hearts is sour cream. It makes offal more tender and appetizing. Enjoy this simple recipe in the oven. Surprise your family with a healthy and original lunch!

Ingredients:

  • Chicken heart – 400 gr.
  • Sour cream – 150 gr.
  • Onions – 2 pcs.
  • Garlic – 2 cloves.
  • Salt - to taste.
  • Ground black pepper - to taste.
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp.
  • Dill - for decoration.

Cooking process:

Let's prepare all the ingredients. We wash the hearts under water; if desired, you can remove excess fat.

Pour vegetable oil into the bottom of a deep baking dish and place the washed hearts.

Cut the onion into half rings and place it on the offal.

Sprinkle the contents with salt and pepper to taste.

Spread sour cream on top and place the pan in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Bake for 30 minutes.

How to stew chicken hearts if we want to get a minimum of calories and a maximum of protein? No problem, then we’ll give up oil altogether. After all, stewing is processing a dish in a small amount of water.

Ingredients

  • hearts - 500 g;
  • onion – 1 medium head;
  • sour cream with a fat content of 10-15% - 3 large spoons;
  • peeled carrots - 1 piece;
  • water – 1 glass;
  • salt, spices, bay leaf - to your taste;
  • greens and vegetables for serving.

Cooking

The heart is rinsed and cleared of pieces of fat and films. The offal should be kept in cool water for about 2-3 hours. Then it is boiled for 60 minutes. At the end of cooking you need to add a little salt to the heart.

To make the gravy, chop the tomatoes, onion and clove of garlic. These products should be placed in a frying pan, add a little water and a bay leaf. Then they are sprinkled with table salt, chopped pepper and simmered under the lid for about 5 minutes. Then you can remove the components from the heat. Olive oil is added to them. The resulting mass should be kept covered for half an hour. Then it is ground using a blender.

Potatoes, carrots, onions, turnips and parsley root are chopped. These vegetables should be steamed for 15 minutes. Pickled cucumbers and greens are chopped. The boiled heart should be cut into small squares.

Fry with onions in a frying pan


To prepare a quick dinner for 3 - 4 people, you need to take:
  • offal – 700 g;
  • large onion – 2 pcs.;
  • sunflower oil – 2 tbsp. l.;
  • fresh dill – 3 − 4 sprigs;
  • seasoning for chicken, salt to taste.

To make the dish soft, pre-boil the product for about 5-7 minutes.

  1. Cut the main product in half. Rinse thoroughly to remove blood.
  2. Chop the onion into half rings.
  3. Place the hearts, onions and seasoning in a preheated frying pan. Stirring, fry over medium heat for 40 minutes.

  • Two onions.

Fried hearts

A classic cooking option that is guaranteed 100% success not only among household members, but also among guests.

Ingredients:

  • onions – 2 pcs.;
  • “chicken organs” – 0.8 kg;
  • vegetable oil – 3 large spoons;
  • ground pepper;
  • salt.

Fried chicken hearts can be cooked with mushrooms, which can be fried separately and added at the end or cooked along with the offal.

Cooking plan:

  1. The giblets, stripped of vessels and fat, are cut in half and washed under running water, after which they are placed in a colander to remove excess liquid.
  2. The peeled onion is washed and cut into half rings.
