Compound:

  • Eggs - 3 pcs.

  • Milk - 2 tbsp. l.

  • Cocoa - 2 tbsp. l.
  • Syrup for impregnation - 4-5 tbsp. l. (water+sugar)

Preparation:

Step 1: In a deep bowl, mix eggs and 200 grams of sugar, beat the mixture well until thick white foam. Add a glass of sour cream and soda slaked with vinegar, mix and gradually add flour.

Step 2: Divide the dough into two equal parts. Grease a refractory baking dish with oil and sprinkle with flour, transfer one part of the dough into it and place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 30 minutes.

Step 3: Add cocoa to the second half of the dough and mix. Grease another pan with butter and sprinkle with flour, lay out the dough and bake for 30 minutes in a preheated oven.

Step 4: Cool the first ready-made white cake into the mold, remove from it and cut into small squares approximately 2-2.5 cm wide.

Step 5: Remove the chocolate cake from the mold and place on a flat plate. Cut off a thin layer of sponge cake from the top so that the cake is better soaked, and pour it with a mixture of water and sugar or soak it with your favorite jam.

Step 6: Mix the remaining sour cream with 200 gr. sugar (you can use less sugar), grease the dark cake with this cream. Dip the white cake cubes into the cream and place them in a heap on the bottom layer.

Step 7: Melt the chocolate in a water bath, add milk, heat and pour chocolate over the cake, place in the refrigerator to soak for 2-3 hours.

How should you bake the Curly Lad dessert? The cake must be heat treated in special springform pans. They are thoroughly greased with vegetable oil, and then the dark and light dough is laid out (in different dishes).

Bake the cakes at a temperature of 205 degrees for 60 minutes. This time is enough for both biscuits to become fluffy and soft.

Preparation

  1. Beat the eggs and sugar with a whisk or mixer until white.
  2. Add sour cream, slaked soda to the egg-sugar mixture and beat again.
  3. Then pour the sifted flour into the dough.
  4. Use the mixer again to get a homogeneous mass.
  5. Prepare the mold by greasing it with vegetable oil and place a third of the dough into it.

  8. The chocolate cake takes two-thirds of the dough, so we bake it longer, about 25 minutes. At the same time we make cream. Beat the condensed milk, adding a spoonful of vanilla sugar to give it volume.
  9. Mix condensed milk with cream until smooth.
  10. Be sure to wash and dry your mixer before whipping the cream. If the cream is whipped correctly, it will not flow out of the inverted container.
  11. Take the base of the cake and apply cream on it in a thick layer.
  12. After the chocolate cake has cooled, cut it into small cubes.

Throw cherries between the pieces of biscuit. For the cream, mix sugar, sour cream and vanilla sugar. We pour this cream over the top of the “slide”.
