Homemade PP candy recipes
Curd coconut candies
Original and tasty diet sweets can be made from cottage cheese. Despite its recognized benefits, many people do not like cottage cheese in its pure form. To remedy the situation, you can make homemade sweets from cottage cheese.
- For PP sweets, it is better to take low-fat cottage cheese. Pasty cottage cheese has a uniform consistency, but does not hold its shape well and is too liquid. If you want the candies to be homogeneous, the grainy cottage cheese must be rubbed through a fine sieve.
- To give sweets a sweet taste without using sugar, you need to take a ripe soft banana. Peel, mash with a fork or grind in a blender. Product ratio: 200 g cottage cheese – 1 banana.
- Mix banana puree with 4 tbsp. l. coconut flakes and cottage cheese. Roll small balls from the resulting mass. Roll each of them in coconut flakes and put them in the refrigerator for several hours.
Homemade Raffaello
Many people like Raffaello sweets, with delicate cream and nuts. You can prepare an analogue of this delicacy with your own hands. The base will also be cottage cheese or curd pudding.
- Peel and pour boiling water over the almonds for 15 minutes. Drain the water and dry the nuts in a dry, hot frying pan. The amount of almonds directly depends on the desired amount of sweets.
- Mix 200 g of cottage cheese with 2 tsp. liquid honey. If the honey is too viscous, it needs to be heated in a water bath. Depending on the consistency of the cottage cheese, the amount of honey may vary. The result of mixing should be a sticky mass.
- Wet your hands with cold water. Take an almond and form a curd and honey ball around it. The size of the candies is arbitrary.
- Roll each ball in coconut flakes and place in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.

The powerful effect of dried fruits on the human body
At one time, I myself had a terrible sweet tooth, which, coupled with stress, led me to my current status as a “sweet woman,” that is, a diabetic. I wrote about the difficult choice of the right fructose here.
I don’t wish such a fate for my dear grandchildren, but I want them to eat only good food, including desserts.
Benefit
So what are the healing properties of dried fruits, if it would seem that all the “benefits” in them are “dried”, and is it necessary to eat them in principle?
It turns out that it is necessary, and absolutely! After all, they strengthen the immune system and cardiovascular system, have a beneficial effect on the intestines, they contain a lot of vitamins, which are in concentrated form, which increases their usefulness.
Dried fruits contain fiber, which has a beneficial effect on metabolism and gives an impetus to digestive processes; fructose and glucose, and these are carbohydrates given to us by nature itself; more minerals than fresh fruit (the only thing that is not retained is vitamin C)
.
Let's look at the features of those that will be mentioned today in the methods of preparing our delicacies.
Dried apricots
: widespread in our country. It helps with diseases of the heart, gastrointestinal tract, anemia, improves vision and blood circulation. It also makes hair strong and keeps skin young.

Improves kidney function, relieves swelling and removes toxins from the body. If you eat it regularly, you will see your vitality increase and your appearance improve.
During lactation, it is better for nursing mothers not to get carried away with them, so as not to cause diarrhea in the baby.
Raisin:
You can talk a lot about him. It cleanses the blood, has bactericidal, diuretic, laxative, and sedative properties. Able to increase the activity of the immune system and increase hemoglobin. Will relieve you from depression and numerous stresses.
If you constantly take it as food, your heart will work like a clock, brain function will improve, colds will recede, gums and tooth enamel will strengthen, caries will forget where your teeth are, migraines will leave your long-suffering head.

Figs
: dried fruits of the fig tree
(fig tree)
, which are known to us from Biblical legends. Its medicinal qualities are very high compared to other fruits.
Doctors prescribe it as an additional remedy for the treatment of diseases of the respiratory system, anemia, for the prevention of diabetes and cancer, and high blood pressure.
It is useful for strengthening bones, is suitable as a laxative, and will help women in the fight against female diseases.
Dates
: successfully fight chronic fatigue, high blood pressure, swelling, depression, insomnia. They are excellent helpers for brittle bones, poor vision, low immunity and the need to improve blood counts.
You need to eat several pieces a day:
- for men engaged in heavy physical labor, as well as to improve potency and sperm production,
- nursing mothers to improve lactation and nutritional value of milk,
- pregnant women, if the due date has arrived and there are no contractions yet, to help the birth of the child (but in no case throughout pregnancy, since dates cause uterine contractions).
Harm
There are several factors that need to be taken into account.
Firstly
, this is a very high-calorie food and should be eaten in small quantities, especially for people with increased weight. All the benefits will come to naught if you abuse the amount of delicacy eaten. The recommended amount for a healthy person is 3-10 pieces per day.
Secondly
, the drying process itself. Previously, fruits were dried in a shaded, well-ventilated place, but now this happens on an industrial scale in specialized dehydrators using hot air and infrared radiation.
Some manufacturers, in order to get results faster, sometimes do this with the use of chemicals and dyes. Therefore, it is necessary to learn how to choose high-quality dried fruits.
Third
, it is important to properly prepare the fruits for eating, that is, fill them with hot water for a while and then rinse them in running water. It is not recommended to eat them without such preparation.
Fourth
, people on a diet, diabetics and anyone who is concerned about their health should eat no more than 1-2 pieces per day.
And those who suffer from allergies, asthma, urolithiasis or gastrointestinal disorders do not need to look at them at all.
Truffle
You will need:
- Walnuts – 500 g
- Chocolate dates – 300 g
- Banana – 1 pc.
- Carob – 150 g + 25 g (cocoa substitute)
- Honey - 3 tbsp. l. (take a thick, but not aromatic option. Buckwheat honey is not suitable)
Preparation:
To make these healthy candies, you will need carob, a cocoa substitute. You can buy it at any vegetarian or organic food store. What’s nice is that the prices for this product are not high. By the way, when you decide to buy it, you will probably be faced with a choice: buy roasted or raw carob. For vegetarian desserts, the fried version is usually used, but if you follow a raw food diet, choose “untouched” raw carob. The remaining ingredients are less exotic, so let's get to it!
- First grind the nuts into “flour”. Mix it with carob (150 grams). In a separate bowl, use a blender to blend the banana and dates into a smooth paste. Add honey and mix all the ingredients thoroughly so that you get a fairly dense mass that is easy to shape into the desired shape.
- Scoop up a full teaspoon of the prepared truffle mass (you can add a heap) and make a ball the size of a small walnut. Roll the future truffle in carob.
- Place the finished candies in the refrigerator for a couple of hours - and then you can start tasting!
Fitness candy
These diet candies will not only be an excellent dessert, but even a complete breakfast!

The first thing to do is to thoroughly chop the nuts and dried apricots. You can use raw nuts, since we will still bake our candies a little. Add all other ingredients to the chopped nuts and dried apricots and mix thoroughly. You need to bake the sweets in the oven at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

- 15 grams of peanut butter.
- 25 grams of protein. It's good to use chocolate flavored protein.
- A little ground almonds. One teaspoon will be enough.

Pour hot water over the dates, let them swell a little, then remove the seeds. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and thick. Make small balls and roll them in cocoa. Be sure to place the candy in the refrigerator for at least 15-20 minutes.

Grind the almonds into the finest crumbs - and our candy base is almost ready.

PP candies Bird's milk on agar-agar
You can make light and dietary sweets using skim milk. This will be an excellent replacement for your favorite Bird's Milk candies.

Add 1 teaspoon of agar-agar and sweetener to the milk and place on the stove. While the milk is heating, we beat the whites to stiff peaks. As soon as your milk has boiled, remove it from the stove and slowly add it to the whites, constantly whisking the milk mixture with a mixer. If desired, you can add any dried fruits to the resulting soufflé. Place pp candies into molds.
Now let's prepare the glaze for diet sweets. To do this, add agar-agar, sweetener and cocoa to 200 ml of water, mix everything and put on fire. The glaze should boil for about a minute, after which we remove it and pour over our pp candies!

PP sweets recipes (simple)
How and where to store dried fruits
This should be done in a cool, dark place so that they are not exposed to sunlight, each type separately, preferably in hermetically sealed food containers. It’s absolutely great if it’s in a glass or ceramic container.
Because each type has its own unique aroma and different permissible humidity.
Typically, all dried fruits are stored for about six months, raisins are the champion in terms of shelf life, reaching 1 year. The temperature should not exceed +20 degrees Celsius. If you put this beauty in the freezer, then it will last 18-20 months.
From the above, we can conclude that the best way to preserve our vitamin-rich treats is a refrigerator, more specifically a shelf for storing vegetables and fruits, or a freezer for those who like to buy for future use.
And yet, sometimes go through your “treasures”, throwing out those that have at least slightly spoiled without any pity, so that the rest remain healthy and edible.
