To prepare it take:

  • wheat flour – 3 cups;
  • natural yogurt – 180 milliliters;
  • butter – 75 grams;
  • egg - 1 piece;
  • baking powder – 10 grams;

Add yogurt and quickly knead the dough, roll it into a thin layer and cut out cookies of any shape from it, brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 170 degrees in the oven for about 15 minutes.

Cupcakes in tins

Usually this dessert is made with kefir or sour cream. Yes, it turns out to be a rich and tasty dessert, but if you try to make small yogurt muffins in molds, you will see that their taste will become even more delicate and the dough softer.

Let's start cooking: Take 50 g of butter and two eggs. Mash these products with a wooden spatula. Add 1 cup or 250 g of flour and 0.5 tsp. baking powder with soda. Stir the products until smooth.

Then pour in drinking yoghurt (preferably fruity) and, if you like raisins, add 50 g. Mix well again. Now the dough is ready and can be poured into molds. However, they must first be lubricated with margarine or vegetable oil.

The molds should be filled halfway with dough, not completely. Since the cupcakes will still rise during baking. Bake them until golden brown at 180 degrees.

Use a match or toothpick to pierce the cake; if there is no dough left on the stick, then you can turn off the oven. Typically, baking cupcakes takes 20-25 minutes. The result is a delicious, satisfying and tender dessert.

Yogurt cupcakes

To prepare them take:

  • sugar – 100 grams;
  • yogurt – 200 milliliters;
  • egg - 1 piece;
  • sunflower oil – 2/3 cup;
  • banana – 2 pieces;
  • cinnamon – 1 teaspoon;
  • vanillin – ½ teaspoon.

Cupcakes are made as follows:

sift the flour and add sugar, cinnamon and vanillin. Separately mix yogurt, egg, butter and bananas, crushed into puree. The ingredients are combined, the dough is kneaded and the molds are filled with it. Bake the cupcakes at 180 degrees in the oven for about half an hour.

What to do if the yogurt was not fresh and sour? What to cook - recipes?

The yogurt was sour - it was not quite fresh yogurt, I took it out of the refrigerator, put it in an open place, removed the lid from it and left it warm, it soured in half a day and overnight, now it looks like thick yogurt with “bubbles” and “funnels” with a sour taste "aroma".
What delicious things can you make from sour yogurt? Any ideas on what to cook, recipes?

What recipes are there to use sour yogurt, what to add to it and cook something on the fire, in the oven, microwave, etc., so that it undergoes heat treatment?

What to make sour yogurt ?

You can make pancakes, use it for manna (semolina casserole), or for charlotte with apples.

Yogurt is a fermented milk product. And when milk, kefir or curdled milk begins to “think” (as my grandmother used to say), they are immediately used for dough. We add any familiar ingredients, according to the recipe, bake delicious treats and make our loved ones happy.

Since yogurt usually comes with fillings, pancakes or the same charlotte will take on the flavor of apricots or blueberries, and the color may be slightly pinkish from the dye that was in the yogurt (unless, of course, the yogurt is “live”, natural without additives).

If the yogurt has become not so fresh that even the label on the package is inflated, you can still prepare something with sour yogurt. To do this, carefully unscrew the label and place the yogurt in an open place so that it can completely “sour”; lactic acid bacteria will help with this and the yogurt will become like yogurt.

If there is a lot of yogurt, then it is important not to throw it away, but to prepare something. Just lubricate the top part with vegetable oil so that it does not “wind” while it turns sour.

It occurred to me to fry pancakes with this yogurt.

To the yogurt I added an egg, a little salt, soda (you don’t have to quench it with vinegar, the yogurt itself is sour), then add the flour and knead the dough, bringing the pancake dough to the desired consistency. If you wish, you can add a spoon or two spoons of semolina, but you just need to let it sit for five to ten minutes so that the semolina swells.

And you can fry pancakes.

You can do the same with yeast (I always use dry yeast).

You could also make a casserole in a frying pan or in the oven if you add a little cottage cheese.

You could also make pies, pie, donuts or buns.

Instead of flour, you can use oatmeal for pancakes, as for pancakes made with oatmeal and kefir.

Useful tips and tricks

To ensure that baked goods with the addition of yogurt are airy and tender, follow several recommendations:

  • It is better to soften the butter for the dough with a fork. If you do this with a mixer, you will get small pieces that do not dissolve completely and spoil the dough.

  • An airy cake is obtained when the dough is kneaded only with a spatula.
  • Many cooks add sesame seeds, poppy seeds or sunflower seeds to the dough.
  • If the manna dough turns out to be too liquid, add a small amount of flour to thicken it. It is important not to overdo it, otherwise a large amount of flour will prevent the dough from rising and spoil the taste.
  • The oven must be preheated. If you put the dough in a cold oven, the cake will not be ready in time.
  • Yogurt baked goods with added fruit can be served as a pie or as muffins by pouring the dough into appropriate molds. When serving, the pie is poured with glaze or decorated with confectionery sprinkles. If the muffins were prepared without adding fruit, they can be served separately. Cupcakes and muffins are decorated with cream or whipped cream.
