Canapes with sausage and sauce
Serving small canapés with shrimp (see photo below) with glasses of sauce looks very impressive. Such a sandwich will be juicy and spicy. According to the cooking recipe, you need to use hot raw smoked pork chorizo sausage, popular in Spain, but if you don’t have it, it can be replaced with pieces of fried smoked hunting sausages. The main thing in preparing canapés is the original sauce. Let's look at how to prepare it correctly.
Before you dive into the savory sauce, however, marinate the shrimp in a mixture of Italian seasonings, lemon juice, garlic and olive oil. Leave them like this for half an hour in a cool place.
Shrimp canapes with cheese filling
The combination “shrimp + cheese” is one of the most common in shrimp canapé recipes. Here's one of them.
Ingredients:
- Soft cream cheese
- Shrimps
- Greens (basil, parsley, dill)
- Ground black pepper
- Cucumber
Preparation:
Cut the cucumbers into thin slices. Mix the cheese with finely chopped herbs and pepper, place one teaspoon per slice, and, having rolled it up, prick it with a skewer so that the cucumber roll with cheese filling does not unfold. Place the rolls on one end, place the shrimp on top and serve.
Snack with lemon and salted butter
To prepare such canapés, salted butter, peeled boiled shrimp and cut lengthwise, mayonnaise, small sprigs of dill, and thin slices of lemon are used. Use black pepper if desired.
Spread a thin layer of salted butter onto the prepared pieces of toasted bread. Then lay out the seafood, divided into two parts. The photo of the shrimp canapes shows how they should be placed on the sandwich.
Squeeze half a teaspoon of mayonnaise onto them from a cooking bag. It turns out to be a beautiful star. Dill is placed on top. The canapes are served with a thin slice of lemon, which will refresh the taste of the sandwich.
Canapes with shrimps
Brevity is the soul of wit. There aren't that many ingredients in this recipe either.
Ingredients:

- Cream cheese
- Crackers

Preparation:
Before cleaning, frozen shrimp should be thawed and then rinsed under running water. Afterwards, finely chop a bunch of dill into five or six sprigs. Spread the prepared crackers with a small layer of cream cheese and place one or two shrimp on each of them (depending on their size), then sprinkle with finely chopped dill.
Canapes with shrimp and mustard cream
The combination of shrimp, cucumber and soft but spicy cream will leave few people indifferent.
Ingredients:

- Vegetable oil
- Cucumber
- Ground black pepper
- Ground white pepper
- Salt
- Sour cream
- Mustard
- Curry
- Turmeric
Preparation:
Peel the shrimp and fry in a hot frying pan in vegetable oil with salt and pepper. Mustard cream is prepared as follows: mix 2 teaspoons of mustard into 250 g of sour cream, add half a teaspoon of turmeric and a pinch of curry. Cut the cucumber into slices about a centimeter thick, spread the cream on them and place the shrimp.
With fried shrimp
Ingredients:
- bread;
- sunflower oil;
- shrimps;
- sandwich cheese;
- greenery;
- pepper;
- salt.
Preparation:
- We cut the bread (preferably white) into pieces no more than 1.5 cm thick, and then use a special mold or an ordinary glass to form circles. Next, you need to sprinkle them with sunflower oil or dry them in the oven.
- Fry the shrimp over high heat, adding salt and pepper. You need to fry for about 6 minutes, and then put it on a plate to cool.
- Now we need to make the cream. To do this, take sandwich cheese and finely chopped herbs (this could be dill, basil and parsley). Pepper and salt the cream to taste.
- It's time to collect our canapes. We do this in the following order. Place about a teaspoon of cream on the bread. Next come the shrimp. You can plant one or more.
Decorate with greens and serve.

Preparation:
- Clean and fry the shrimp for 6 minutes and place them on a plate to cool.
- Let’s move on to preparing the spicy mustard cream, it’s easy to make.
- Mix 250 gr. sour cream (it’s better to take the thicker one) with a couple of teaspoons of mustard. Add seasonings. It can be curry, turmeric, be sure to add pepper and salt.
- Cut fresh cucumbers into slices. The thickness is at your discretion, but not more than one centimeter.
- First we string a circle of cucumber, then spread the cream, and then the shrimp itself.
Serve garnished with greens or a piece of lettuce.
Canapes with shrimp, cheese and canned pineapple
Quite hearty canapés, looking more like small toasts with sauce and shrimp.
Ingredients:
- Canned pineapple
- Shrimps
- Eggs
- Cheese
- Garlic
- Baguette
- Mayonnaise
Preparation:
The eggs must be boiled and chopped finely. We do the same with pineapples and cheese. Stir, squeeze the juice of two cloves of garlic into the resulting mixture and mix into the mayonnaise.
The baguette is cut into circles (ovals) one to one and a half cm thick. Then it is fried in a frying pan without oil until a light crispy crust appears. The prepared mass is laid out on bread (can be spread in an even layer, or in a small mound), and shrimp are laid out on it, depending on their size - 2-3 pieces each.
It is better to insert the skewer into such canapés at an angle, on the side of the shrimp, to make them easier to pick up.
Canapes with marinated shrimp
The base of the canapé is always either bread, cheese, or a vegetable. In this case - cucumber.

- Vegetable oil
- Vinegar
- Garlic
- Ground black pepper
- Cucumber
Preparation:
For this recipe, the shrimp must be boiled. While the crustaceans are ready, prepare a marinade for them - mix the same amount of wine vinegar with two tablespoons of vegetable oil, add the juice of a crushed garlic clove and sprinkle everything with ground pepper. As soon as the shrimp are ready, they must be cleaned, put in this marinade and left for 35-40 minutes.
We place the marinated shrimp on skewers, which we stick into a slice of cucumber. If desired, you can decorate the canapé with a sprig of greenery.
