To prepare classic burger patties, do the following:

  1. Preheat your gas, electric or charcoal grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Place the ground beef in a large bowl and season evenly with Worcestershire sauce, salt, garlic powder and pepper.
  3. Use your hands to mix the ingredients well until they are fully combined.
  4. Next, you need to divide the meat mixture into 4 parts.

For beef products you need:

  • 500-600 g minced beef, divided into 4 portions;

  • 0.5 tsp. any vegetable oil;
  • spices and seasonings as desired.

Step-by-step cooking process

Cooking products in a frying pan is very simple:

  1. Add oil to a stainless steel or cast iron skillet and wipe it with a paper towel, then place over medium heat and let it heat for about 5 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, carefully form each portion of ground beef into a cylindrical puck about 5 cm high, pressing it with your hands until the meat takes shape without falling apart.

  3. The preparations must be seasoned generously on all sides with salt and pepper.
  4. Next, you need to increase the heat to high and heat the frying pan, and add meat products to it.

  6. Next, you need to fry the cutlets, without moving them in the pan, until a golden brown crust appears, about 1.5 minutes. Using the edge of a spatula, carefully lift and flip the pieces one at a time, making sure to remove any browned bits from the pan.
  7. After this, you need to continue frying until the meat is cooked to the desired degree. It will take about another 30 seconds. on each side to obtain medium doneness, and 1.5 min. – for deep.

Classic burger patties

To prepare the most juicy and delicious cutlet according to the traditional recipe, you need fresh low-fat ground beef. Components such as pepper and salt are added solely to taste and are optional.

So:

  1. Cool the minced meat.
  2. Form it into fairly wide, flat cutlets at least 1 cm thick, with a diameter slightly wider than the diameter of the bun.
  3. Just before frying the product, you can lightly salt and pepper.
  4. Heat a frying pan and add a little vegetable oil to it.
  5. Fry the cutlets quickly and at maximum heat to achieve a good crust that will retain the juiciness of the cutlet.
  6. It is very important to press down the product with a spatula so that the shape remains flat.
