Ingredients:

  • Minced meat (pork, chicken) – 250 g
  • Fresh mushrooms – 200 g
  • Potatoes – 0.6 kg.
  • Carrots – 1 pc.
  • Onion – 1 pc.
  • Salt - to taste
  • Bay leaf – 2 pcs.

Step-by-step preparation:

Chop the onion and fry in a frying pan for 2-3 minutes until transparent.

Then add the minced meat and mix well so that it does not form lumps. Fry for 4-5 minutes over medium heat.

I used pork, but you can also use chicken or beef. It will be delicious with turkey too.

Clean and cut the mushrooms into thin slices and add to the meat.

You can take fresh champignons, honey mushrooms, porcini mushrooms or other forest mushrooms. I had frozen mushrooms.

Cook for 5 minutes.

Peel the potatoes and carrots and cut them into cubes. Send to the frying pan at the same time.

10 minutes before cooking, add bay leaf and salt to taste. If you have dried mushrooms, crush a couple in a mortar and add to the potatoes for flavor.

After all, on its packaging you can find a lot of important and useful information: composition, production date, expiration date, place of production. The best option would be if the packaging is transparent so that you can visually assess its contents.
  2. Minced meat may contain a small amount of soy. But no more than 10%.
  3. Please note that if the composition does not contain moisture-retaining components or soy, then there should be a small amount of liquid (juice) at the bottom of the package. This is acceptable. Moreover, the juice can tell about its freshness. If it is bright red, it means it is fresh. But if it is dark, cloudy and thick, then it is better not to buy such a product.

  • broth – 300 ml;
  • minced chicken or turkey – 300 g;
  • spices - to taste;
  • sour cream – 75 g;
  • soy sauce – 100 ml;
  • champignons – 400 g.

Sour cream should be taken with a fat content of no more than 15%.

You can use chicken or vegetable broth. When choosing the latter, the dish turns out to be less caloric.

Spices should be chosen that are ideally combined with chicken and turkey meat. You can use coriander, rosemary, turmeric, curry or paprika.

Step-by-step cooking process

The products described earlier, when carried out in the following steps, allow you to create a meat gravy from poultry and mushrooms:

  1. The frying pan needs to be heated, then the minced meat with spices is placed on it. The component should be cooked without adding oil until all the liquid has evaporated.

  2. Then you will need to add soy sauce into the saucepan, stir well and simmer the food over medium heat under a closed lid for 10 minutes.
  3. Mushrooms should be washed under running water and then cut into large slices.
  4. Next, you need to send the ingredient into a saucepan with minced meat, mix everything thoroughly and simmer the ingredients under a closed lid for about 7 minutes.
  5. Afterwards, the sour cream and broth must be mixed, and then poured into a saucepan, simmering the dish on low heat for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.

  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup chopped celery

  • 1 1/2 cups hot chicken broth
  • 2 eggs beaten

  1. Grease one 9x13-inch baking dish. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

1. Wash the champignons and wipe thoroughly. Although it is believed that it is better not to wash champignons before cooking, because... they will absorb excess moisture, which will make them less aromatic and too watery. If the mushrooms are heavily soiled and cannot be done without washing, it is recommended to wipe them with a damp cloth or napkin to limit their contact with water. If the champignon leg is very dirty, cut it off with a knife and clean it from damage. Cut the prepared mushrooms into cubes, slices, slices... Choose the cutting method yourself, depending on the further use of the finished dish.

2. Peel the onions and garlic, rinse and cut into cubes or half rings.

3. In a frying pan in vegetable oil over low heat, fry the mushrooms. At first they will release a lot of liquid, so drain it or wait until it evaporates. With proper heat treatment, the champignons will fry a little and lose volume.

4. Then add onion and garlic to the frying pan with the mushrooms.

5. Stir and continue frying the mushrooms and onions, seasoning them with salt and ground pepper.

6. Adjust the degree of frying yourself. If you like it well done, keep the mushrooms on the fire longer until a golden brown crust forms; if you like it lightly done, then cook the onions until soft and the mushrooms until lightly golden. Use the finished dish for self-consumption or further use in other recipes.

Cooking instructions

  1. The ingredients are ready, let's start cooking.
  2. We clean the champignons and remove the stems, leaving only the caps.
  3. Grate the cheese on a fine grater.
  4. Chop the greens. You can add dill and parsley to the green onions.

Therefore, in order not to put my family at risk, I buy mushrooms at the store. Such mushrooms are grown artificially, so it is impossible to get poisoned by them. These champignons taste no worse than those grown in the forest.

There are quite a few recipes for cooking mushrooms, but one of my favorites is fried champignons with onions. Cooking mushrooms using this method will take a minimum of your time, and the taste will please even the very picky members of your family. You need very few ingredients to prepare this dish. And another important fact is that absolutely anyone can cook these mushrooms, even those who have never cooked mushrooms at all.
