Required Products:

  • 100 g broccoli;

Preparation

1. Prepare the broccoli for the casserole. If it is fresh, then we simply separate it into inflorescences; large ones, we cut them smaller. If the broccoli is frozen, then it needs to be boiled in salted water for 3-5 minutes, or defrosted in a frying pan with a lid.

2. Finely chop the onion and add it to the minced meat along with the spices. If you have time, you can fry the onion and minced meat a little in vegetable oil.

3. Next, add 1 egg to the minced meat.

4. Mix all ingredients well.

5. Place the minced meat in a mold greased with vegetable oil and smooth it out. This creates the first layer.

6. Place the broccoli on top of the minced meat so that you also get an even layer and the cabbage covers the meat.

7. For the sauce, mix sour cream with the remaining eggs. If the eggs are large, one is enough; if they are small, then it is better to take two.

8. Pour the sauce over the future casserole.

Cooking process:

  1. Pour water over broccoli, bring to a boil and cook for three minutes. Then drain in a colander and place in cold water.
  2. Peel the carrots and cut them into thin strips.
  3. Peel the garlic and finely chop with a knife.
  4. Mix starch (a teaspoon) with two tablespoons of water.
  5. To prepare the marinade, mix starch, soy sauce and grated ginger in a container.
  6. Cut the beef into fairly thin strips, place in the marinade, close the container with a lid and shake. Leave for 10 minutes.
  7. To prepare the sauce, mix broth, wine and soy sauce.
  8. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the garlic over high heat until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Add the meat and fry while stirring for two to three minutes. Then pour in the sauce, add broccoli and carrots, after it boils, cook for two minutes. Broccoli and carrots should remain crispy.
  9. Pour starch into the pan, shake it and fry with constant stirring for another two minutes. Remove from heat when the sauce has thickened noticeably.

Broccoli with meat can be served without a side dish, but if desired, you can prepare boiled rice.

My casserole with broccoli and minced meat will not be some kind of low-calorie diet, but a very rich one, from the heart! The only dietary food there is broccoli, but it’s easy to fix things with butter and cheese! Just kidding. There really isn’t that much fat in this dish, but it feels very satisfying.

Tomatoes are an optional element, but they greatly enliven the appearance and taste of the dish. If the minced meat is not beef or chicken, but, say, pork or mixed, then there is no need to use butter flakes when preparing a casserole with broccoli and minced meat.
