This recipe is very simple. There is no need to pre-cut the chicken into pieces, because it is baked whole. The result is a bird with a beautiful and appetizing crispy crust. You will need:
- chicken - 1 pc.
- mustard - 1 tbsp.
- garlic - 2 cloves
- softened butter - 20 gr.
- potatoes - 1 kg
- vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.
- ground black pepper, salt - to taste
Cooking method:
1. Wash the chicken and dry it with napkins. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and use your hands to rub the spices evenly into the skin.
2. Finely chop the garlic with a knife, grate it or pass it through a press. Rub the carcass with garlic - there will be a pleasant aroma.
You can use dried granulated garlic, which does not burn when baked.
3. All that remains is to rub the entire bird with mustard on all sides. Don't ignore this step, it will taste much better with it than without it. Mustard and chicken are a very good combination.
4.Wrap the workpiece in film and place it in the refrigerator for marinating. It is better to leave it overnight or even for a day. If this is not possible, keep the chicken like this for at least an hour.
5. Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil and place the bird on its back. Grease the breast, legs and wings with a small amount of butter, which must be removed from the refrigerator in advance. This maneuver will help create a golden brown crust.
6.Cover the chicken with foil and place in an oven preheated to 200º for 1 hour.
7. Wash the tubers thoroughly and cut into large pieces. You can leave it in the peel if the fruits are not spoiled. Remove the carcass from the oven, remove the foil and pour the fat and juices that will be on the bottom over the bird. Place potato pieces around the chicken. First, salt and pepper the vegetable slices, you can sprinkle with spices (herbs, turmeric, paprika).

Recipe for juicy chicken drumsticks with potatoes in the oven
This chicken will also be baked on a baking sheet, like the previous one. But this time we will not use the whole carcass, but only the drumsticks. You can take thighs or legs. We will add flavor using a delicious marinade.

Ingredients:
- chicken drumstick - 700 gr.
- potatoes - 1 kg
- carrots - 1-2 pcs.
- onions - 1 pc.
- garlic - 3 cloves
- vegetable oil - 2-3 tbsp.
- tomato sauce - 2 tbsp.
- salt, pepper - to taste
- seasoning for vegetables - 1 tbsp.
- turmeric - 1 tsp.
- mayonnaise - 2 tbsp.
- soy sauce - 2 tbsp.
How to do:
1. Wash the drumstick and place in a deep bowl. Add soy and tomato sauces, mayonnaise (you can use homemade one) to it. Also squeeze the garlic through a press (you can grate it), add ground black pepper and a little salt (remember that soy sauce is already salty).

4. Season the vegetables with turmeric, seasoning, salt and pepper, and vegetable oil. Mix everything thoroughly. This way the side dish will be very tasty and aromatic.
5. Grease a deep baking tray with sunflower oil and pour the vegetable bed onto it. Place chicken legs on top.

- one and a half kilograms of chicken;

Take:
- chicken - 1 pc.

- pumpkin - 0.5 kg
- onions - 1 pc.
- garlic - 5 cloves
- vegetable oil - 5 tbsp.

Stages:

Chicken with potatoes, bacon, cheese and cream in the oven

Ingredients
- 4–5 potatoes;
- 450 g chicken fillet (breast);
- 6 slices of bacon;
- 1 sprig of thyme;
- 1 sprig of rosemary;
- 200 g hard cheese;
- 120 ml cream;
- 1 teaspoon sugar;
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder;
- ½ teaspoon salt;
- ½ teaspoon pepper;
- 3 tablespoons butter.
Preparation
Cut the potatoes and chicken into small pieces, the bacon into small pieces. Chop thyme and rosemary. Grate the cheese on a medium or coarse grater.
Combine cream with sugar. Add thyme, rosemary, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Mix well.
Place chicken and potatoes in a baking dish. Sprinkle with bacon and half the cheese. Pour in the cream and add pieces of butter. Cover tightly with foil. Bake for about an hour at 175°C. Then remove the foil and sprinkle the chicken and potatoes with the remaining cheese. Cook for another 15–20 minutes.
