A simple and, I would even say, classic recipe for chicken legs with vegetables is for you! The result is a hearty and tasty dish that will not leave you indifferent! Try it, it’s also easy to prepare.

To preserve nutrients, vitamins, vegetables and chicken, it is recommended to cook them in a bag.

Thanks to this method, the products will be cooked in their own juice, so the dish turns out tasty and juicy.

Ingredients:

  • 8 chicken legs
  • 6 potatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 1 tomato
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Spices by preference

Preparation

This recipe uses chicken legs, but you can cook the chicken whole or shredded if you prefer. Salt the meat before cooking

Then you need to cut the baking bag to the required length. It is recommended to tie the ends tightly

Cut all vegetables into medium-sized pieces, and potatoes into larger pieces. Place chopped vegetables and chicken in a sleeve, tie at the other end and place on a prepared baking sheet.

The next step is to place the food in the oven, which should first be preheated to 150 °C. The dish needs to be prepared for at least 40 minutes.

A delicious dish that can be served hot. Add fresh herbs if desired.

Chicken legs in the oven with potatoes

The main advantage of chicken is that it can be combined with almost any ingredients. In the next recipe we will cook chicken legs along with potatoes.

Ingredients:

  • 12 chicken legs
  • 1 onion
  • 10 potatoes
  • 1 carrot
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • Vegetable or olive oil
  • 2 tbsp. l soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp. l natural honey
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • For spices, you can use various ready-made seasonings or herbs

Preparation

After freezing, products lose their beneficial properties, so it is recommended to use chilled meat for cooking. But if you purchased frozen chicken, then you need to defrost it naturally, that is, gradually at room temperature.

Then rinse your feet well and let the liquid drain in a colander. The skin can be removed if desired.

After this, wash and peel the potatoes. But some people prefer this vegetable in its skin; in addition, the peel contains fiber and many vitamins. In this case, it is enough to peel the potatoes with a hard sponge to get rid of dirt

Wash the carrots and remove the top layer. Peel onions and garlic

Now you need to start marinating the chicken. Prepare a separate bowl, add honey, soy sauce, oil and spices. If necessary, sprinkle with a little salt.

Drumsticks or thighs in puff pastry

An original and very tasty dish! I cook it not only for dinner or lunch, but also for the holiday table when guests come to us. It not only looks beautiful, but is also very tasty. Be sure to try cooking, especially since it is very easy and does not require much time.

  • 7 drumsticks;
  • 1-2 liters of puff pastry;
  • 1 tsp. spices for chicken;
  • 1 tsp. khmeli-suneli;
  • ½ tsp. black pepper;
  • 3 cloves of garlic;
  • 1 tsp. salt;
  • 1 yolk;
  • 3-5 tbsp. l. raises oils

Place the prepared drumsticks in a bowl, add garlic, salt, seasoning for chicken, pepper, suneli hops and just a little oil so that it binds the spices.

Mix everything thoroughly so that the legs are completely covered with seasonings on all sides.

Leave to marinate for 30 minutes at room temperature. If you want to marinate longer, be sure to place the bowl of drumsticks in the refrigerator.

When the legs are marinated, fry them in a dry frying pan or with the addition of a small amount of oil.

Fry on all sides until fully cooked. After you turn the drumsticks over to the other side, cover them with a lid and fry for 10-15 minutes.

Cool the finished drumsticks a little. And during this time we will do the dough.

Lightly roll out the layers of puff pastry until they are 3-5 mm thick. You don’t need to roll it out too hard or too thin, otherwise the dough won’t rise and won’t be tender.

Using a sharp knife, cut into long strips 2-3 cm wide.

Grease a baking sheet with oil and preheat the oven to 200°.

We wrap each leg with a strip of dough in a spiral.

Brush with egg, place them on a baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes.

The dough turns out so soft and tender that it is even impossible to cut it. The meat inside turns out very juicy, soft and incredibly tasty!

Recipe for chicken legs with vegetables and mushrooms

Use the following recipe if you want to feed a large number of people. You don't have to spend hours preparing. The dish turns out juicy, aromatic and satisfying. To do this we need simple and affordable products.

Ingredients:

  • 10 chicken legs
  • 5 pieces Brussels sprouts
  • 200 g champignons
  • 200 g broccoli
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 onion
  • 100 g cauliflower
  • 100 g asparagus
  • 4 potatoes
  • 1 tsp table salt
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • ½ tsp paprika

Preparation

To prepare this dish you will need various products, so it is recommended to prepare them immediately so as not to be distracted during the cooking process

Wash, peel and cut the potatoes into medium-sized cubes. Immediately place it on a pre-greased baking sheet. Do not cut the vegetable into large pieces, otherwise it will take longer to cook than chicken.

When you lay out the potatoes, you need to grease them with mayonnaise and salt

The next layer is to evenly distribute the chopped mushrooms. Add a small amount of spices and salt. If desired, you can use wild mushrooms instead of champignons.

Now chop all the vegetables and place on top of the mushrooms. You don't have to buy fresh vegetables; you can use mixed vegetables, which are sold in all grocery stores. Just defrost it and use it in the recipe.

The chicken legs must first be marinated in spices and salt. But this is not necessary; in any case, the dish will turn out quite juicy and tasty.

Place the drumsticks on top of the vegetables, brush with a layer of sour cream, sprinkle with oregano, paprika and salt if necessary.

Now all that remains is to send the pan with the food into the oven and cook for 50-60 minutes. The aromatic dish is ready without much effort. Serve warm.

Stuffed boneless chicken thighs in the oven

For this dish, you need to take legs that have skin. It is also very important that it is whole and not in pieces, otherwise you simply will not be able to stuff it. Remove it from the meat very carefully, slowly, so as not to tear it.

  • 10-12 chicken drumsticks or thighs;
  • 100 gr. cheese;
  • 200 gr. champignon mushrooms;
  • 1 onion;
  • 2 tbsp. l. sour cream;
  • ½ tsp. paprika;
  • ½ tsp. turmeric;
  • salt pepper.

Using a stocking, carefully remove the skin from each shin down to the bone.

Cut off the bone so that you are left with the skin and the joint.

Trim all the meat from the bone and cut it into small pieces. In total, the filling will require meat from half the legs, i.e., 6 pieces.

Onions and mushrooms cubes mode.

First fry the onion in oil, then add the mushrooms to it. After all the liquid has evaporated, fry for another 3-5 minutes and turn off.

Salt and pepper the prepared mushrooms and mix well. Let them cool slightly and add to the chopped meat.

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater and add it to the meat and mushrooms. Mix everything thoroughly so that all components are evenly distributed. Salt, pepper, add turmeric, paprika and mix everything again.

Using a teaspoon, stuff the chicken drumsticks.

We do this carefully so as not to tear the skin.

Cover the filling with the free edge of the skin and tuck it inside.

Grease a baking sheet with oil, lay out the stuffed legs and grease them with sour cream. If desired, sprinkle paprika on top. It will give a beautiful color and a sweet taste.

  • 800 g chicken legs
  • 1 onion
  • 250 g vegetable mixture of corn, bell pepper, peas, carrots and beans
  • 150 g rice
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Grated cheese according to preference
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Ground black pepper
  • 350 ml water

Preparation

Chicken legs should be washed well and the skin removed if desired. Prepare all other products so that they are on the table

Cooking delicious chicken legs with vegetables and cheese

Using the following recipe you can also prepare equally delicious chicken drumsticks. The entire preparation procedure takes no more than half an hour. The dish is suitable for both an everyday dinner and a festive table.

Ingredients:

  • 6 chicken legs
  • 100 g cheese
  • 50 ml sunflower oil
  • 1 tbsp spices for basturma
  • 1 onion

Preparation

Defrost the chicken drumstick if necessary, then rinse with cold water. Then remove any rough skin and feathers, if any. Dry with a paper towel

Sprinkle chicken with spices and salt

Then form a tray from foil, place chicken legs on it, add onion rings. After this, place the drumsticks in the oven, which must be preheated to 200°C

Bake the chicken for 50-60 minutes. Then place the pieces of cheese on the drumsticks and leave to bake for about 10 minutes.

I warn you - make two or even three servings at once! This is such a delicious dish that you won’t be able to pull it away either by your ears or your legs. I’m sure neither you nor your family have ever eaten such delicious food.

I often cook these thighs for guests, and they are always wildly delighted with them. There has never been a time when even a tiny piece remained. Even the plates on which I served these thighs were licked clean.

  • 3-5 chicken legs or thighs;
  • 100 ml grows. oils;
  • 1 tsp. khmeli-suneli;
  • 1 tsp. salt;
  • 1 tsp. turmeric;
  • ½ tsp. white pepper;
  • 3 cloves of garlic;
  • 50 gr. butter.

Carefully cut out the bones and joints from the legs.

You should end up with layers of meat with skin, without veins and cartilage.

Cover each leg with cling film and beat with a hammer.

Pour oil into a deep bowl, add salt, suneli hops, white pepper, turmeric and mix everything thoroughly. Be sure to leave 2-3 tablespoons of marinade, we will need it later.

Dip each piece of meat thoroughly into this mixture and leave to marinate in this bowl.

We marinate for at least 4-5 hours, but it’s better to let it sit overnight, just don’t forget to put the meat in the refrigerator.

We take out the marinated legs and blot them with a paper towel to remove any remaining marinade.

Heat the butter in a frying pan. Place the chops skin side down and fry them over medium heat with a press on top.

To do this, place a heavy bowl or pan on the legs and place a container of water in it.

It will press the meat into the pan. Fry for 15-20 minutes.

Then, turn the meat over and fry on the other side for another 10-15 minutes, also under pressure.

Pour the marinade that we left into a small bowl, add chopped garlic to it, and mix everything well. Apply garlic sauce to the skinless side.

Now turn the chops over so that the garlic is at the bottom of the pan and fry for another 2-3 minutes.

After this, put the frying pan with the meat in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes at 180°.

Place the finished chicken legs on a paper towel. As soon as the excess oil has drained off, the meat can be served, garnished with dill.

The thighs turn out incredibly tasty, juicy, with an amazing crispy crust.

Cooking chicken legs with vegetables in the sleeve

If for some reason you do not eat fried foods, then this recipe is suitable for you. Chicken legs are juicy and flavorful.

Ingredients:

  • 4 chicken legs
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • Pepper and salt

Preparation

Wash the chicken legs with cold water, dry, then rub with pepper and salt. Peel all vegetables

Chop the onion to your liking. You can cut it into pieces or half rings

Place all vegetables and chicken legs in a baking sleeve. Tie it on both sides and put it in the oven for half an hour. About ten minutes before complete readiness, the sleeve needs to be cut so that the chicken is covered with an appetizing crust.

Chicken drumsticks in a sleeve in the oven - simple and very fast

I always keep a solid supply of baking sleeves in my kitchen. It's such a convenient thing! I put all the ingredients in it, tied it on both sides and put it in the oven. After 40 minutes, an appetizing and tasty dish is on the table. I like that in the sleeve both meat and vegetables turn out rosy, beautiful and juicy. Beauty, and that's all!

  • 1.5 kg chicken drumstick;
  • 1.5 kg of potatoes;
  • 1 head of garlic;
  • 100 ml olive oil;
  • 70 ml soy sauce;
  • 1 tsp. pepper;
  • ½ tsp. coriander;
  • ½ tsp. turmeric;
  • salt, pepper, herbs.

Wash the chicken legs, place them in a bowl and add all the spices, salt and pepper. Pour in the oil, soy sauce and add the garlic that has been passed through a press.

Carefully coat the drumsticks with marinade so that they are completely covered with spices on all sides. Cover the bowl with meat with film and leave to marinate for at least an hour.

Cut the potatoes into slices and put them in a sleeve. Don't forget to tie one edge.

Place the drumsticks mixed with potatoes. We also pour the remaining marinade here.

We tie the second edge and place it on a baking sheet.

Place in the oven preheated to 190° for 50-60 minutes.

The end result is such a delicious and beautiful dish!

The potatoes are all soaked in juice and fat from the chicken, and the meat is very juicy and soft! Sprinkle with dill and eat with great appetite!
