Recipe

1. To prepare, we will need: chicken legs, a mixture of chicken spices (optional), champignons, mustard, garlic, flour, cream (the higher the fat content, the better), vegetable oil, fresh thyme (or any herbs to your taste) , as well as salt and pepper.

2. First, wash the chicken legs and then dry them thoroughly on paper towels.

3. Place the dry legs into a bowl. Season them with a mixture of spices, and also add additional salt and pepper to taste (we use salt only if it is not included in the spice mixture). Pour in 1-2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.

4. Carefully rub aromatic spices into the surface of the legs. Set the bowl with the legs aside for 5-10 minutes (if desired, for a longer time), let them soak in the aromas.

5. Meanwhile, prepare the champignons. First, wash them under running water (just do it quickly enough so that the mushrooms do not absorb excess water) or simply wipe each mushroom with a damp sponge. Next, cut the clean mushrooms into small slices.

6. Also chop with a knife or pass a few cloves of garlic through a press.

7. Heat the frying pan well over the fire and pour 1-2 tablespoons of vegetable oil into it. We lay out the legs (just not too tightly so that they don’t start leaking juice) and quickly fry them until they are nicely golden brown.

8. Remove them from the pan and transfer them to a plate.

9. Place the chopped champignons in the frying pan and, without reducing the heat, fry them for several minutes until lightly browned.

10. Add chopped garlic and, if desired, fresh thyme leaves to the mushrooms. Instead of fresh thyme, you can use any of your favorite herbs to taste. Warm the mushrooms with garlic and thyme for 30-40 seconds.

11. Next, add the prepared mustard and flour to the frying pan. Mix.

12. Add cream to the mushrooms and stirring constantly, bring to a boil. At the very end, season the sauce with salt and ground pepper to taste.

13. There are two options for bringing our dish to full readiness. The first is on the stove in a frying pan, the second is in the oven in a mold. Choose an option depending on your taste. I suggest going the second way. To do this, pour our sauce with mushrooms into a baking dish.

14. Place the rosy legs into the sauce in a tight row.

15. Bake the chicken legs for about 30-35 minutes or a little longer depending on the size at a temperature of 180 C.

  • mustard – 1 tsp;
  • cheese – 100 g;

  • Stuff with garlic slices, rub with salt and pepper. Place them in a greased baking dish. Sprinkle with chopped onion.
  • Peel the potatoes, wash and cut into slices. Place in pan between pieces of meat.
  • In a separate bowl, mix cream, tomato paste and lemon juice. Beat with a mixer until a light foam appears. Pour creamy sauce over meat and potatoes.
  • Place in the oven and bake at 180-200° for 40 minutes.
