Ingredients:

  • duck, weighing about 2 kg;
  • 3-4 pcs. sour apples;
  • 4 cloves of garlic;
  • a handful of dried cranberries;
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil;
  • 1 tbsp. liquid honey;
  • 1 tsp salt with herbs (or plain);
  • ½ tsp. marjoram;
  • ½ tsp. black pepper.

The day before baking, wash and marinate the duck. Mix butter with honey, chopped garlic, salt, pepper and marjoram. Rub the duck thoroughly on each side and inside. Place in the refrigerator to marinate overnight.

The next day, place the duck in a baking dish. We cut the apples into quarters and remove the seed nests. If the skin is tough, peel the apples. Place half of the apple and cranberry filling inside the duck.
