Cooking chicken with bell peppers and tomatoes:

Chicken thighs must be completely thawed, washed and dried well. If you want, you can remove the skin from the meat, then the dish will come out less greasy.

Rinse the peppers and tomatoes thoroughly. Peel the onion, remove the seeds and stems from the bell pepper. Cut all the vegetables into cubes of approximately the same size, but do not mix them together yet.

Heat some oil in a frying pan and fry the bell peppers and onions in it. When the vegetables have softened, remove them from the heat. In the same pan, fry the chicken thighs, placing them skin side down. Fry for 10 minutes over medium heat. At the end of frying, poultry meat and vegetables must be seasoned with salt and pepper to taste. Grease a baking dish with a little oil and place half of the chopped tomatoes on the bottom. Salt and pepper to taste. Then place the chicken thighs, covering them with stewed bell peppers and onions. Then comes a layer of the remaining tomatoes and again salt and pepper to taste. Cover the mold with a lid to prevent moisture from evaporating.

Send the chicken with bell peppers and tomatoes to a well-heated oven (180-190 degrees) for 35-40 minutes.

When you open the lid, you will see that the tomatoes have given a lot of juice, in which the chicken was stewed. Therefore, the meat turns out very tender and tasty. All that’s left to do is sprinkle chopped parsley on top and you’re ready to serve! The chicken with bell peppers and tomatoes should be served as a separate hot dish along with the broth in which everything was stewed. In my opinion, you can do it without a side dish, but something like boiled potatoes or rice might come in handy. And don't forget to add sour cream.

Cooking:

  1. Cut the chicken fillet into large portions. Add salt and sprinkle with seasonings mixed with salt.
  2. Chop the vegetables randomly, but also quite coarsely. Place the chicken in a mold and cover it with chopped vegetables on all sides.
  3. Pour oil over it, be sure to pour water into the mold.
  4. Place to bake for 45 minutes. The temperature in the oven is 200-220 o C.

I have a new multicooker with a bunch of programs, so I first set the frying/vegetables mode for 7 minutes. In sunflower oil, fry the peppers cut into strips with garlic squeezed through a press.

After frying, take out the vegetables. Next, I set the frying/chicken mode for 25 minutes. If you have a multicooker without any problems, just do everything on the frying mode. Place chicken cut into small pieces 2*3 cm. Add oil if necessary. Stir fry for 15 minutes.

We make the sauce - filling. Mix: soy sauce, balsamic, water, sugar and starch. I, of course, use Kikkoman Naturally Brewed Soy Sauce.

After 15 minutes of frying the fillet, add vegetables and filling, hot red pepper. Stir-fry for the remaining 10 minutes.

Ingredients

  • Chicken breast without skin – about 400 g;
  • Green bell pepper – 2 vegetables;
  • Red sweet paprika – 1 vegetable;
  • White onion – 1 turnip;
  • Small carrots - 1 root;
  • Soy sauce – 4-5 tbsp. l.;
  • Cold pressed olive oil – 2 tbsp. l.;
  • White granulated sugar – 1 tsp.

  1. Prepare the meat in the same way as described in detail in the previous recipe, cut it in the same way.
  2. We cut the peeled onion and pepper so as to obtain long thin strips.
  3. Remove the skin from the carrots and cut the root vegetable into not too thin semicircles.
  4. Take a saucepan and pour oil into it. As soon as it warms up, without hesitation, drop the poultry meat into it and fry until whitened for about 5 minutes. To prevent it from burning, stir it.
  5. While the meat is frying, in a smaller frying pan, add oil and simmer the carrots under the lid. Extinguishing time is about 10 minutes.
  6. As soon as the meat begins to brown, add semi-finished carrots and fry together, without ceasing to stir, for about 5 minutes. Then add the onion, and after 3 minutes – the pepper slices. The pan does not need to be covered, and the heat should be at medium intensity.
  7. All that remains is to combine the sauce and sugar, and then stir vigorously until the sweet crystals are completely dissolved.
  8. Add the finished filling to the saucepan, where the chicken and vegetables are almost ready, stir everything and keep it on the fire for 3 minutes until cooked.

You can serve meat and vegetables with boiled rice or noodles, as is customary in China. Fragrant juicy pieces of chicken with bell peppers, fried in soy sauce, turn out very tasty and perfectly satiate without aggravating the stomach.
