How to cook pork with bell pepper in a slow cooker

How to deliciously cook stuffed peppers in the oven in halves with tomatoes and mushrooms

In this method we will start with vegetable halves. Another dish that can feed the family. The vegetable retains its beautiful color even when cooked. The filling of rolled meat with rice is the most popular.

But in our case, we will cook from smoked chicken breast, tomatoes and champignons.

Prepare the products:

  • smoked breast - 1 pc.,
  • pepper - 6 pieces,
  • champignons - 450 grams,
  • onions and carrots 1 pc.,
  • tomatoes - 3 pcs.,
  • cheese - 200 gr.,
  • mayonnaise - 5 teaspoons. spoons,
  • dill - bunch,
  • black pepper with salt.

Let's prepare our main vegetable. Any color and size will do. Cut each one in half so that each half remains with a tail.

Place water in a saucepan and let it boil. The water is boiling, salt it and throw the vegetable halves into the water for 3 minutes.

We take it out of the water. Leave them to cool slightly.

Meanwhile, take care of the filling. Pour boiling water into a deep bowl and lower the tomatoes there for 2 minutes. We remove the skin. cut into cubes.

Now take the chicken (you can just use boiled chicken, smoked chicken leg, etc.). It just tastes better with smoked chicken. Cut the meat into small cubes.

Chop the onion and three carrots on a coarse grater. Finely chop the dill with a knife. Grate the cheese.

Fry the onions and carrots over the fire. Fry in a frying pan for a couple of minutes.

Add the chopped mushrooms to the pan and mix everything. Add salt, pepper and stir fry again for 5 minutes.

Add chicken with tomatoes to the pan and simmer for 5 minutes. Add half the cheese and mix. Let it cook for another 1 minute, then remove and let it cool slightly.

Grease a baking sheet and place the pepper halves on it. Place filling in each half.

Place in the oven for 20 minutes. Then we take it out and grease it half a teaspoon at a time. spoon of mayonnaise and sprinkle with grated cheese.

Place oil and chopped onion into the multicooker container. Turn on the Fry mode and cook the first ingredient for about 10 minutes. Then add the meat to the bowl, salt and pepper it. Place pepper strips on top and sprinkle with cheese. Set the appliance to Baking mode and leave for 50 minutes.

Place the finished dish on plates and, if desired, sprinkle with chopped herbs. The best option is fresh parsley. Boiled potatoes or rice are perfect as a side dish for this dish.

Variations on the Basic Recipe

You can add other vegetables to the previous recipe. Carrots will perfectly complement the taste of the dish. It, like the pepper, should be cut into thin strips. But it’s better to add carrots along with onions. The roasting time does not change. For the above amount of products, one medium root vegetable will be enough.

The taste of pork with bell pepper and tomatoes will complement the taste well. They should be cut into small cubes and placed between the pepper and the meat. For 500 g of meat and 250 g of pepper, two medium-sized tomatoes will be enough.

You can add a couple of tablespoons of tomato sauce or paste to the meat and vegetables being cooked. This will add a little heat and piquancy to the pork with bell pepper.

For this you need to prepare the following products: • pork (pulp) – 700 g; • bell pepper – 350 g; • ripe tomatoes – 250 g; • turnip onion – 150 g; • tomato paste – 2-3 tablespoons; • flour – 1-2 tablespoons; • sour cream – 100 g; • vegetable oil – 4 tablespoons; • water – 200 ml; • salt and pepper (ground black) – to taste.

First you need to prepare all the products. Cut the meat into large pieces, the onion into half rings, tomatoes and peppers into small cubes. Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker container and heat it, setting the device to the Frying mode. After 3 minutes, place the pork in the bowl, add salt and pepper, close the multicooker with a lid and cook for 15 minutes. Then add onions and bell peppers to the meat. Cook everything together for about 5 minutes, stirring the dish being prepared regularly.

Now it's time to pour the flour into the container. This must be done gradually. Immediately after this, add tomatoes to the meat and vegetables, mix everything and cook for 3 minutes. Lastly, sour cream, tomato paste and water are added to the bowl. Mix everything, close the device with a lid and cook for an hour, putting the device in the stewing mode. The dish should be served hot. You can boil potatoes or rice as a side dish.

Simple beef and bell pepper salad

Very often the simplest combination of products turns out to be the most delicious. In this case, the simplest combination of meat and vegetables is the basis of this salad. If you use brightly colored peppers, such as red and orange, for your salad, it will turn out not only tasty, but also beautiful. The main thing is that the vegetable is fresh and juicy.

You will need:

  • beef - 400 gr;
  • bell pepper - 2 pcs;
  • onions - 1 piece;
  • mayonnaise for dressing;
  • salt to taste.

Preparation:

For this salad, you need to boil a piece of beef in advance. Choose low-fat and without veins, cut off the lashes. Cook over low heat until soft, add a little salt while cooking.

Cool the finished meat, then cut into strips.

Wash the bell pepper well and remove the internal seeds. Cut into thin strips along the fruit.

Fans of Asian cuisine will love the Chinese way of preparing pork with bell pepper.
Preparing such a dish using a slow cooker is no more difficult than “cooking” a similar dinner according to a basic recipe. To do this, the housewife needs to take: • pork (pulp) – 500 g; • bell pepper – 250 g; • carrots – 100 g; • turnip onion – 100 g; • soy sauce – 100 ml; • starch – 1 teaspoon; • vegetable oil – 1-2 tablespoons; • water – 200 ml; • garlic – 2-3 cloves; • salt, coriander, turmeric, pepper (ground red and black), dried herbs - to taste.

Cut the pork into strips about 1 cm thick and beat a little with a kitchen hammer. Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker, turn on the device in Frying mode and let the oil heat up for 3-5 minutes. Place the meat in hot oil, add salt, add the rest of the spices, stir and fry for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Peel and cut the onions and carrots: the onions into large cubes, and the carrots into thin slices. Add vegetables to meat and cook for about 5 minutes. Then add garlic crushed in a crush and sweet pepper cut into large pieces to the rest of the products. Mix everything.

In a separate container, mix warm water, starch and soy sauce. Pour the resulting mixture into the multicooker container, mix everything again and cook for 20 minutes. At the end of the process, close the device with a lid and cook for another 15 minutes. The finished dish should be allowed to stand under the lid for about 5 minutes, after which it can be laid out on portioned plates. Since the dish belongs to Asian cuisine, it is best to boil regular rice as a side dish.

Peppers stuffed with vegetables and rice in the oven

A standard recipe that is quick and easy to prepare.

You will need the following products:

  • peppers – 6 pcs.;
  • rice – 100 g;
  • onion - 1 pc.;
  • tomatoes – 3 pcs.;
  • garlic – ½ head;
  • greens – 50 g;
  • carrots – 100 g.

Preparation:

  1. Remove the membranes and stem from the peppers and fry for a minute on both sides.
  2. Boil the rice until half cooked.
  3. Pass the garlic through a press, finely chop the greens.
  4. Pass the onions and carrots through a grater with a medium honeycomb and fry until lightly browned.
  5. Combine all the ingredients together and stuff the peppers.
  6. Bake in the oven for half an hour at 150C.
