Nowadays it has become very popular to add fruits to meat dishes. The results are very harmonious combinations, judge for yourself - salad with canned pineapples, “Pomegranate bracelet”, “Tiffany”. All fruits have a natural sourness and aroma that complements the taste of meat and vegetables. When you decorate dishes with fruits, it turns out very elegant and festive.
Today I want to talk about recipes based on grapes and chicken. This combination is loved by many and therefore there are a lot of recipes.
There are nuances that you should be aware of before you start cooking.
- Look for seedless grapes, these are a variety of sultanas, the berries come in both white and black.
- If you have large berries, then cut them into four parts and remove the seeds.
- Black grapes are more aromatic and sweeter than light ones. Keep this in mind if you do not want strong sweetness in the dish.
- Boil chicken fillet in boiling water to preserve the juiciness in its fibers. It is lowered into unboiled cool water when they want to get a tasty broth.
- When boiling or baking chicken breast, it must be salted.
- To make the cheese easier to grate, first cool it in the refrigerator.
- Nuts need to be crushed or finely chopped. The most accessible way of chopping is to iron them with a rolling pin.
- If you are making a salad in layers, then mix each ingredient separately with the dressing, so the food will be better soaked.
- Choose chicken breast because the meat from the drumstick is more stringy and tough.
- Smoked or salt-baked chicken will taste very tasty.
Classic recipe
Any type of berry is suitable for this dish. If sweet berries have seeds, it is recommended to remove them. The salad with raisin grapes will be especially tasty. Poultry meat can be boiled or fried. Ingredients:
- fillet – 0.3 kg, 3 chicken eggs;
- cheese – 0.15 kg, mayonnaise;
- walnuts - the same amount;
- grape berries – 0.15 kg.
Cooking steps:
- Boil the fillet in lightly salted water. Boil the eggs until the yolk is firm. Cool in water at room temperature.
- Cool the meat, chop it and place it in the first layer in the dish. Grease with a little mayonnaise (in the form of a mesh).
- Chop the eggs and place them on top of the first layer. Sprinkle them with grated nuts. Add Mayo.
- Add cheese. Place grape halves on top. You should not put whole berries. Before eating the snack, it needs to be cooled in the refrigerator.
Cooking rules
The main ingredient is chicken. For cooking, it is best to use breast fillet. It will need to be pre-boiled and cooled in the broth. You can also cook the fillet on a grill pan or bake it in the oven in foil. The salad will have an even brighter taste if you take smoked chicken.
You can take different varieties of grapes for salad. An appetizer with large green or pink berries looks impressive, but you can also take a dark variety. Before preparing the snack, the berries are washed and cut in half lengthwise, removing the seeds. If you choose seedless grapes, you can add whole berries.
It is recommended to prepare layered salads 2-3 hours before serving, as they need to be soaked. Keep the salad in the refrigerator until serving. Regular salads should not be seasoned with sauce in advance; it is better to do this immediately before the feast.

With apples and lettuce
There are many types of grape and chicken salad. In this case, the dish contains grated apple. For this original dish you will need:
- poultry meat – 0.3 kg, chicken eggs – 4 pcs.;
- 2 medium apples, 0.15 kg of hard cheese;
- 4 lettuce leaves, a bunch of grapes.
Step by step instructions:
- The meat is boiled in water with the addition of a small amount of salt. Then it is cooled and crushed into small pieces. Boil the eggs hard, cool them and separate the whites from the yolks. Rub them.
- Grate the cheese into small slices. Peel the apple and chop into the same slices. The dish will require a long salad bowl. Place lettuce leaves on it as the first layer. It is advisable to moisten them with lemon juice.
- Chicken meat is laid out on them. The second layer is crushed whites and yolks. Next, apples and cheese are carefully placed.
- Each layer is soaked in mayonnaise in the form of a mesh. When all the layers are ready, place the grape halves on top. You can use the remaining cheese to imitate the figurine and legs of a “turtle”.
Unusual salad with pecans and spicy dressing
If you are looking for an original recipe that has not yet set your teeth on edge and has a great taste, then it’s time to prepare a light salad with grapes, soft cheese and chicken in a sweet and sour dressing. Its highlight is the pecans. In order to prepare this salad with cheese and grapes and chicken, you need to take:
- 350 g chicken meat (breast);
- 140 g of green salad mixture (arugula, rosso, etc.);
- ½ cup pecans (coarsely chopped and toasted);
- 60 g crumbly goat cheese;
- 1.5 cups red grapes;
- ½ part of a red onion;
- ½ tsp each dried and chopped thyme and rosemary;
For refueling:
- 70 ml olive oil;
- 1 tbsp. l. honey;
- 2.5 tbsp. l. balsamic vinegar;
- 1 clove of garlic, minced;
- 1.5 tsp. Dijon mustard;
- Pepper and salt.
It will take some time to prepare this original grape salad. The recipe with photos will help you with this. The chicken breast should first be beaten with a hammer, brushed with olive oil, rubbed with rosemary and thyme, pepper and salt. Then cook it on the grill, in a frying pan or in the oven. A plate of Tiffany salad with chicken and grapes has a sophisticated look and will decorate any holiday table. For the snack you need:
- 2 small chicken breasts, a bunch of grapes;
- 4 eggs, well boiled, 0.2 kg of hard cheese;
- the same amount of almonds, mayonnaise, sunflower oil, curry.
The appetizer is prepared like this:
- Wash the chicken semi-finished products, dry and coat with seasoning. Fry them. Boil the eggs. Cool the meat, cut into small cubes. Peel and grind the eggs.
- Grate the cheese into medium-sized slices. Cut each grape into halves. Grind the roasted almonds in a blender.
- Place meat on the bottom of the dish. Soak it in a small layer of mayonnaise sauce and sprinkle with cheese. Place a layer of crushed eggs on top and brush with mayonnaise again.
- Sprinkle with grated almond crumbs. Soak in a layer of mayonnaise. Finally, decorate the resulting composition with grape slices.
With celery and walnuts
To prepare a salad with chicken, celery and grapes, you will need the following products:
- chicken fillet – 300 g, celery – 150 g;
- grapes – 100 g, walnuts – 50 g;
- poppy seed – 1 tbsp, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, parsley and dill to taste.
Cooking steps:
- Chicken fillet can be boiled, baked or fried. Cut the finished product.
- Finely chop the celery and herbs. Roast the nuts and poppy seeds for a few minutes.
- Cut the grapes into halves. Stir in chicken, celery, nuts, and grape halves.
- Season everything with mayonnaise, salt and add ground black pepper.
Exquisite salad recipe: chicken with grapes and Gorgonzola cheese
The uniqueness of the salad lies in the surprisingly harmonious combination of products. The tart and rich taste of blue cheese emphasizes the tenderness of chicken meat, and the grapes add a sweet and sour fruity note. You will need:
- 320 g chicken breast (smoked);
- three slices of prosciutto;
- 60 g blue cheese;
- 55 g walnuts;
- 600 g raisin grapes;
- a small bunch of basil and celery;
- 2 tbsp. l. olive oil;
- 1 tbsp. l. red wine vinegar.
Bake the prosciutto under the grill or simply in the oven until the edges are crispy, then let cool and shred into coarse fibers with a fork. In a separate bowl, whisk the olive oil and vinegar until smooth. Tear the green leaves into large pieces with your hands, combine in a deep bowl with grapes, coarsely chopped chicken breast, blue cheese, prosciutto, walnuts and half the dressing. Mix all the ingredients well so that they are saturated with each other's juices. This salad with cheese and grapes and chicken is served in portions; the second part of the dressing is sprinkled on it just before serving.
Salad with canned pineapple
Preparing chicken salad with pineapple and grapes does not take much time. A dish with a very original taste will decorate any table. The list of products is as follows:
- chicken breast, a piece of hard cheese;
- a jar of canned pineapples;
- mayonnaise, grapes.
You should prepare it like this:
- The breast should be boiled in lightly salted water. Cool and cut into small cubes or slices. Place this layer in a salad bowl.
- Spread a small layer of mayonnaise on top. Drain the juice from the pineapples and cut them into cubes. Cut the cheese in the same way. They should be mixed in a separate bowl, add mayonnaise and only then lay out the second salad layer.
- Cut the grapes in half and place on top. Cover the entire surface of the culinary composition with them. Properly arranged grapes will give the finished dish a beautiful emerald color.

- Potatoes 3-4 pcs.
- Chicken breast
- Egg 3 pcs.
- Hard cheese 100 g.
- Sweet grapes 500 g.
- Mayonnaise
- Salt
Boil potatoes, eggs and chicken breast.
Grease the plate with mayonnaise.
Grate the potatoes on a coarse grater and place on a plate.
Grease the layer with mayonnaise.
Chop the chicken breast with a knife, add salt and mix with mayonnaise.
Place chicken breast on top of potatoes.

Appetizer with champignons
To prepare champignons with chicken and grapes you need the following ingredients:
- 200 g chicken meat, 200 g cheese (several varieties are possible);
- a bunch of white and purple grapes;
- half a glass of walnuts, orange juice;
- 100 g natural yoghurt, a little salt to taste.
The steps for preparing the salad are as follows:
- Cut the berries into halves. Cut the chicken meat into small slices.
- Cut the cheese into small cubes. Fry the champignons until golden brown.
- Mix yogurt and orange juice, add salt to the sauce. Combine chicken slices with berries and cheese.
- Place this mixture on a plate. Pour over the sauce and sprinkle with nuts.
Light sala with Chinese cabbage
A light version of chicken salad with grapes is prepared with Chinese cabbage.
- 400 gr. chicken fillet;
- 300 gr. Chinese cabbage;
- 150 gr. small seedless grapes (quiche-mish variety is ideal);
- 0.5 cups of any nuts - walnuts, pistachios, almonds;
- sunflower oil for frying;
- 150 gr. natural yogurt;
- 2 cloves of garlic;
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice;
- salt, pepper, curry.
Shred the chicken fillet into thin strips. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, fry the chicken in it, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with curry. Fry until a light brown crust appears. Let the chicken cool.
Shred Chinese cabbage into thin strips. Wash the grapes and add whole berries to the cabbage. If grapes with large berries are used, they will need to be cut into 2-4 parts and the seeds removed.
Prepare the dressing by mixing yogurt with lemon juice, chopped garlic and salt. Mix Chinese cabbage with chicken fillet and grapes. Season the mixture with the prepared yogurt sauce. Place the salad in a salad bowl or on a flat plate in a heap. And sprinkle chopped nuts on top.
Salad "Bliss" with corn
This recipe calls for canned sweet corn. The taste of the dish is exquisite and very subtle. To prepare it you will need:
- chicken fillet – 150 g, 50 g canned corn;
- 100 g grapes, 50 g hard cheese;
- mayonnaise, herbs, green salad, salt.
It's very easy to prepare:
- First, cut the cheese and chicken into cubes. The berries are cut lengthwise.
- Place finely chopped herbs and all ingredients in a bowl.
- Season the salad with mayonnaise, add salt to taste, and mix.
Fruit salad with cheese and grapes
Cheese and grapes can not only successfully set off meat components, but are also excellent companions in themselves. Try a very simple and quick to prepare sweet fruit and creamy salad. For it you will need:
- 500 g each of red and green seedless grapes;
- 120 g non-sour sour cream;
- 120 g soft cream cheese;
- 50 g sugar
- ½ tsp. vanilla essence;
- 100 g pecans.
Mix sour cream, soft cheese, sugar (you can take less than the original amount of products, it all depends on your taste preferences) and vanilla essence. Pour the mixture over the grapes, sprinkle pecans on top (not too finely chopped and toasted). It is recommended to leave the salad overnight so that it soaks. Before serving, you can garnish the top with grape slices.
