Lazy dumplings without eggs: recipe with photos

Many people love dumplings, but not many love and know how to cook them. The main concern is the time it takes to make the dumplings - it doesn’t happen very quickly. But any dumplings are eaten very quickly. What to do when you really want to taste a portion of dumplings, but there is no time (or no desire) to prepare a concoction for this in the kitchen. There is usually a way out in any situation. It’s not for nothing that laziness is called the “engine of progress”; if laziness did not exist on the planet, then there would be no dish now that could replace ordinary dumplings. Instead of standard full-fledged dumplings, you can easily treat yourself to a simplified variation of this dish. Simpler does not mean tasteless.

With cottage cheese

Before making lazy eggless cottage cheese dumplings, look around your cabinets and refrigerator for the following ingredients:

  • 700 grams of cottage cheese. Curd product is also great.
  • Flour - 200 grams. You may need a slightly smaller or, conversely, larger amount, this will depend on the stickiness of the flour.
  • Add salt and sugar to taste.

Lenten yeast dough

If you prefer steamed dumplings, then this recipe is for you. During processing, the products become lush, fluffy, and increase in size.

What you will need:

  • flour – 250 gr.;
  • yeast in a briquette – 30 g;
  • water – 300 ml;
  • vegetable oil – 50 ml;
  • granulated sugar – 1 tbsp. l.;
  • salt.

Sequencing:

  1. Heat the water and pour sugar into it.
  2. Add the yeast and dissolve it. Stir until dissolved and leave until a foamy cap forms.
  3. Measure out 100 g of flour and pour it into a bowl.
  4. Pour the yeast base into a plate with flour and leave for 1 hour.
  5. Dust the work surface with flour, lay out the dough and begin kneading.
  6. Add flour until the dough sticks to your hands. The main thing is to add it in small parts.
  7. Leave the dough in a warm place for 1 hour.
  8. Then we roll it out again.

If you plan to make products with a sweet filling - with cherries, strawberries, then the amount of sugar needs to be increased.

Cooking process

Choose the right pan for preparing dumplings: the vessel itself should be half filled with water. During the cooking process, you will need a reserve so that the water with dumplings does not come too close to the edge of the pan when filling.

Fill the pan with water and, after salting it, place it on the stove. While you are waiting for it to boil, don’t waste time and start implementing the recipe for lazy dumplings without eggs.

Mash the cottage cheese in a bowl. It will be convenient to do this using a fork. While preparing the curd mass, add a pinch of salt and sugar to taste.

In small portions, gradually add flour to the cottage cheese and mix the ingredients. You should get a fairly strong, but very plastic mass from which the dumplings will consist.

Let's take:

  • 500 g of cottage cheese;
  • 3 table. spoons of starch;
  • 4-6 table. spoons of flour;
  • 3-4 table. spoons of sugar;
  • half a teaspoon of salt.

Cooking lazy dumplings without eggs is a pleasure. Just right for breakfast. No hassle at all.
