They are prepared with cheese, ham, sausages, tomatoes, olives and many other savory ingredients. Thanks to this, they are perfect for the holiday table as an appetizer, for all kinds of buffets, picnics, and just as an option for a light lunch at work.

We suggest preparing a basic version of snack muffins - with cheese and boiled sausage. The highlight will be the caramelized slice of bacon on top. It turns out very tasty!

Pour warm milk into the bowl in which you will knead the cake batter. Pour sugar into a container with milk and crumble the yeast. Mix everything with a spatula. If you are using yeast from the selected manufacturer for the first time, you should check its activity and wait 10 minutes until the mass begins to bubble. Inactive yeast cannot be used.

Place a raw egg in a bowl with yeast. Add salt and mix everything well again. After this, mix in the flour piece by piece. It is not necessary to sift the flour.

Knead the stiff dough thoroughly. You should get a dense, elastic dough. Cover the bowl with cling film and leave for 30 minutes at room temperature.

For the filling, cut the sausage into small cubes.

Place the prepared tomato sauce in a bowl with the sausage, add mustard and mix well.

Once the dough has increased slightly in size, knead again and divide into pieces weighing 40-50g.

Mash each piece with your fingers into a flat cake and place in a silicone muffin tin.

Fill the indentations in the dough with filling. Makes about 1 tbsp. fillings for one cupcake.

Sprinkle grated cheese on top. Brush the edges of the dough with beaten egg. Bake the sausage muffins for about 30 minutes in an oven preheated to 180C. Delicious muffins with sausage and cheese are ready. Can be served hot or cold. Bon appetit!

Hello, friends! It’s been a while since I wrote in the “Whim” section, that is, for picky children. And even though my child is almost an adult, he has not yet stopped being capricious about food.

Therefore, we have to invent something to feed him from foods acceptable to him. Today I made quick muffins with cheese and sausage. Although, of course, such pastries will appeal not only to children, but also to adults, especially if you add something spicy to them.

The products are the most ordinary, I didn’t buy anything special, almost everything that was in the refrigerator, like for pizza. I'm telling you.

Ingredients:

  • Flour – 200 grams
  • Kefir – 250 ml (you can take yogurt)
  • Egg – 2 pieces
  • Soda – ½ teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tablespoons
  • Hard cheese – 100-150 grams
  • Sausages (sausage or ham) – 200 grams
  • Salt – ½ teaspoon
  • Greens (dill, parsley, green onions) to taste
  • Sesame seeds or seeds for decoration

I didn’t have kefir, but I found sour milk, which had already turned into yogurt. I admit that this recipe was started for the sake of it; it was a pity to throw it away. That's how it is with us, thrifty housewives! All in!

Recipe:

Pour kefir into a deep bowl, put soda in it and let stand for 10 minutes to ferment.

In a separate bowl, break the eggs with vegetable oil and salt and add to the bowl with kefir.

Next, gradually add the sifted flour, mixing well each time. The dough turns out to be as thick as sour cream.

Finely chop the sausages, sausage or ham, grate the cheese on a fine grater.

Add chopped sausages, cheese and herbs, stir everything. The dough for muffins with cheese and sausage is ready!

Place the dough into silicone molds, filling them approximately two-thirds full. There is no need to lubricate with oil (if this is not your first time using them). To decorate, sprinkle with sesame seeds or seeds, if desired.

I had enough dough for 6 large molds and 5 small ones. Bake muffins with cheese at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes. 10 minutes before the end you can turn on the airflow.

Baking time will depend on your oven and the size of the ramekins. I took out the small muffins after 30 minutes, and let the large muffins stand for another 10 minutes, lowering the temperature to 150 degrees. Then, turning off the oven, I kept it on the rack for another 10 minutes.

Muffins with cheese and sausages are ready! Unfortunately, I didn’t have much time, I had to run away, I was almost filming on the run, so I didn’t take a photo in the crack, although I did try one small cupcake, I had to make sure that they were baked?!

The child and husband liked the muffins with cheese, so we can recommend them to the whole family! True, the spiciness was a little lacking for me, so you can add a little smoked sausage and pepper, but this is an option for adults.
