Step-by-step recipe with photos:

Place the puff pastry sheet on a board or table lightly dusted with flour. Place a chocolate bar in the center of the sheet. Cut the sides into strips 20-25 mm wide slightly obliquely, as shown in the photo.

Cut out the corner parts; they can be baked separately.

Now we wrap the chocolate, edges first.

Now fold the side strips one by one.

You will get a beautiful braid from the dough.

  • milk chocolate with peanuts – 90 g;

Cooking technique:

  1. Melt the nut chocolate or grate it (the shavings will be a little easier to work with later).
  2. Place a layer of dough on the parchment, first stretching it slightly with your hands.
  3. Brush the surface of the base with liquid chocolate or sprinkle with chocolate and nut shavings (during cooking it will melt and form a single layer of filling, the main thing is not to leave large uncovered areas).
  4. Chop the pistachios (by hand with a rolling pin, or using kitchen help).
  5. Roll the workpiece into a roll.

    By the way! At this stage, cooking can be stopped and the product can be baked. But it’s better to give it an original shape: make a vertical cut, not reaching 1 cm from the edge, and then twist them in a spiral.

  6. Moisten the top of the roll with water and bake at 200 degrees. After 20 minutes, the delicious puff dessert is ready.

Once removed from the oven, the baked goods should be allowed to cool slightly and then dusted with powdered sugar. It is prohibited to sweeten the roll while it is still hot; the topping will melt and ruin the appearance of the product.

Culinary recipe: white chocolate puffs made from puff pastry without yeast

Components:

  • flour - 0.5 kg;
  • butter or margarine - 400 g;
  • milk - 0.3 cups;
  • egg - 1 piece;
  • sour cream - 4 tbsp. spoons;
  • granulated sugar - 1 tablespoon;
  • salt - 1 teaspoon;
  • white porous tiles - 2 pieces.

Preparation:

Add sour cream, granulated sugar, salt, egg to the milk. Beat everything, sift the flour. Add margarine, chop the mass with a knife for about 10 minutes. You should get a greasy crumb. It needs to be frozen a little in the freezer (5 minutes).

Then take it out and roll it into a tight ball, wrap it in cling film and place it in the refrigerator for 40 minutes.

After this, roll out into a layer and cut into squares.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

Break the tile into squares.

Place 2 slices on each piece. Roll and pinch the dough to form a rectangular pie.

  2. Divide the dough into 6 small rectangles;
  3. By eye we divide a small rectangle into two parts and make horizontal cuts on one half;
  4. Cut the bananas into slices and place them on the other half;

  5. Chop the chocolate with a knife and place it on top of the banana;
  6. Cover the filling with the other half of the dough and seal the edges well;
  7. Preheat the oven to 230 degrees;
  8. Place the puff pastries on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil.
  9. Separate the white from the yolk and grease the surface of the chocolate and banana puffs with the yolk;
  10. Place the puff pastries in the oven for 20 minutes.

Puff pastry with sour cream in five minutes

Ingredients: 

  • Butter – 200 gr.;
  • Sour cream – 100 gr.;
  • Egg – 1 pc.;
  • Flour – 350 gr.;
  • A pinch of salt.

Cooking steps: 

  1. Sift flour into a bowl;
  2. Add butter to the flour and knead everything well with your hands until crumbs form;
  3. Add sour cream and one egg yolk to the mixture;
  4. Knead the dough. It should be non-sticky and elastic.

Attention: If you are lazy or don't have time to prepare the dough yourself, just buy it at the store. It will be no worse than homemade and will save your energy and time.

Homemade puff pastry recipe: “Croissants” puff pastry with chocolate

Do you want to be in France for a moment? Then you just need to make puff pastry croissants with chocolate for breakfast - a puff pastry that can replace your morning meal. Translated from French, this word means “crescent”. Indeed, before putting the croissant in the oven, they bend it a little so that it takes the shape of the letter “C”.

Components:

  • butter - 1.5 packs;
  • milk - 100 g;
  • granulated sugar - 1 tbsp. spoon of sugar;
  • dry yeast - 5 g;
  • flour - how much dough will take;
  • milk bar - 1 piece;
  • sesame seeds for sprinkling.

Preparation:

To make delicious croissants, you must first make the dough. This will take several hours; first you need to mix sugar, yeast, and lukewarm milk. Leave for 10-15 minutes.

Then make a dough. To do this, add a little flour to the yeast mixture and mix. The consistency of the dough should be similar to sour cream.

After 30-40 minutes, add half a stick of softened butter and add the rest of the flour. Mix everything thoroughly, then place in a warm place to rise.

Soften a stick of butter a little at room temperature.

Roll out the finished dough into a layer no more than 1 cm thick. Place a stick of butter in the middle. Spread in a thin layer, not reaching the edge a few centimeters.

Fold the layer into an envelope and place in the refrigerator until the butter hardens. Then roll it out again and fold it again. Repeat this several times. The more times you do this procedure, the more layers there will be. This means the chocolate puff will be very airy.

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Ingredients:

  • Puff pastry - 500 grams (yeast-free);
  • Chocolate - 200 grams;
  • Nuts - 100 grams.

How to make “Chocolate braid from puff pastry”

Roll out the defrosted puff pastry into a rectangle. The size is three times larger than a chocolate bar. Place the rolled out dough on a sheet of parchment. Place a chocolate bar in the middle of the rolled out sheet of dough. Not reaching the edge of the chocolate about 1 cm, we make oblique cuts on the dough. And we begin to weave a braid: we alternately wrap the strips on one side or the other, like a braid. Grind the peeled nuts into crumbs. You can use a knife, or you can use a rolling pin. Lubricate the braid with egg or cream. Sprinkle with chopped nuts and place in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 30 minutes. The pie should brown beautifully.

Layer cake “Chocolate delight”

If you have a little more time, you can try the original step-by-step pie recipe. Only a yeast-free base is suitable for it; excessive fluffiness in this case will make the baked goods not as appetizing as they were originally intended.

Ingredients for the base:

  • puff pastry – 500 g;
  • powder and cocoa - 3 tbsp each. each;
  • softened butter – 2 tbsp;

For filling:

  • eggs – 5 pcs.;
  • flour and powder - 3 tbsp each. each;
  • chocolate mix of bitter and milk bars – 240 g;
  • butter transferred to a liquid state - 120 g.

Cooking technique:

  1. Without being too zealous, roll out 1 sheet of dough (so as not to damage the puff structure).
  2. Coat it well with butter, sprinkle with cocoa and sweeten with powder. You can immediately take 6 tbsp. Nesquik (it already contains sugar, so a double portion is enough for the pie).
  3. Roll the puff pastry into a tight roll and put it in the freezer. This will make it easier to cut it into neat pieces that won’t unravel.
  4. When the workpiece has set, cut it into 0.5-1 cm pieces and place them in a deep mold. The puff pastry pieces should touch each other.
  5. Melt chocolate over steam.
  6. Lightly beat the eggs, add powder, butter and flour.
  7. Combine the liquid chocolate with the egg mixture and pour the filling into the rolls in the mold.
  8. Cover the pie with the remaining sheet of puff pastry, trim off the excess and crimp the edges.

The dessert is baked at standard 180 degrees for about 40 minutes. If desired, the recipe can be supplemented with pieces of fruit. They will pleasantly dilute the taste of the sweet filling.

Space for imagination

This is a very light dessert that disappears from plates almost instantly. Considering the ease of its preparation, the small consumption of time and products, you can make more of these goodies at once. And in order to please your household with variety, you can make the filling of such desserts not only chocolate.

The simplicity of the recipe allows you to experiment a little to make the chocolate dough original. For example, you can take not a whole chocolate bar, but divide it into rectangular pieces. Using the same proportions of the size of the workpiece, the filling and the same weaving technique, you can make cute little pies. Many experienced housewives use the same technique of sealing the filling to prepare cheese puffs. The “pigtail” makes the baked goods look elegant and neat, preventing the melted filling from leaking out.

You can try making caramel buns - then fruits (you can take them raw or canned) or sugar are suitable for the filling.

If you want to make a puff pastry yourself, rather than take a ready-made one from the store, then you can add cocoa powder during the kneading process - then you will get a chocolate puff pastry.
